About: I have had dogs in my home my whole life. We are a family of four with a dog and cat of our own. Our animals do very well with others and we are excited to meet new friends I am currently a stay at home mom with two school age children-ages 9 and 11. I am home and available most all day and my husband works from home 4 days a week. We have a fenced yard and can provide potty breaks often. I do school pickup everyday from 2:40-3:30 and often take one or both of our pets with me to let them get out of the house and surprise the children at pickup We live up a gravel road in a secluded area with a fenced yard. We have one female golden doodle and one female cat. Both are very friendly and enjoy the company of other animals. Our animals are free to roam as they please and often sleep with us or in our rooms. We are happy to offer crate sleep as well if you would prefer.

About: I am very passionate about animals and I absolutely love dogs and cats. I have grown up around dogs all my life, and I got my first dog at 16. I have been taking care of my fur baby Max ever since. I understand that being away can be tough on both pets and their owners, but my goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible for you and your pets. Before pet sitting on Rover, I worked with children of all ages at a daycare. I am currently a medical scribe and full time college student. My services include checking on pets at your home and walking while on their stay. While you are away, I will send you daily updates and pictures of your fur babies to give you peace of mind.I usually care for animals in the comfort of their own home, and I make it a priority to gather all the necessary information to ensure that your pet experiences minimal disruption to their routine. I am currently a college student and scribe. I will typically be free after 11 am on most day during the week. I will be free on most weekends after 9 am. Before booking, I like to get a good understanding of your dog's behavior. Please let me know if your pet has any aggression (toward food, toys, etc.), unique quirks, or separation anxiety that makes it difficult for them to be left alone. It's also important to understand how your dog reacts to other dogs, in case of any unexpected encounters during walks. I’d love to meet your dog while you're present to gather as many details as possible about their daily routine. This helps me ensure minimal disruption while you're away. I will treat your pet like my own and I prefer written instructions to maintain their regular schedule. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is in good hands. If your pet has any special needs or behaviors, please let me know. For example, if they have an anxiety jacket for thunderstorms, please share where I can find it, along with any other items I might need to care for them properly.

On a typical day, I ensure pets get enough physical exercise and mental stimulation, whether through walks, games, or training sessions. I also make time for cuddle sessions, grooming, and administering medications if necessary. For weekly routines, I typically adjust based on the pet’s needs—whether it’s a weekly grooming session, a long hike for more active dogs, or special care for senior pets, like gentle stretching exercises. I always stay flexible to accommodate any specific needs or changes in the pet’s health or behavior. Ultimately, my approach is to provide a consistent, loving routine that fosters a sense of security and happiness for the pet, while also allowing flexibility to cater to their individual requirements. At the Client's Home: Familiar Environment: I ensure that the pet feels as comfortable as possible by maintaining their regular routine and environment. I follow any specific instructions given by the pet owner regarding food, exercise, and special care needs. In-Home Comforts: I’ll make sure pets are well-fed, get regular exercise, and have enrichment activities like playtime or mental stimulation. I also check in on things like medications or special dietary needs.
