About: I have owned and helped take care of my family’s animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. I would love to do anything that I can to help you and take care of your pet while you are away or just need an extra hand. I can go on walks with them, play with them, feed them, and keep them safe! I can also help bathe them and keep them groomed by brushing them. I am a photographer so I have relatively open availability. My dog is my entire world so I know exactly how anyone who trusts their pet with anyone else feels. There is so much love and support coming from my side of taking care of them. I talk to them like they are people and give them reassurance when it rains or when they miss you. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.
About: I've had at least two dogs my entire life. I've cared for puppies through adult dogs. I have even cared for some with special needs. When your dog stays with me, you also get my whole family to care for them. I'm a stay at home mom and I have plenty of time to care for your baby. I can be with your dog at all times. About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!
About: I began professionally caring for animals 10 years ago when I got a job at PetSmart as a Pet Care associate! From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. I then had my first son and stayed home with him and had a farm with pigs, chickens, and all kinds of wonderful animals! When I decided to rejoin the work force, of course I went back to what I love most, caring for animals. I worked at two different kennels full time and helped manage one of them. I am able to give medications to pets and I’m comfortable giving insulin shots. If you’re interested in drop-ins for medication only while you’re at work or out, I can do that! I’m available any time, just discuss with me what would work best for you. During overnight stays, I will fill out a report to return to you so you will have complete details of how your pet was while you’re away! I’m also willing to FaceTime and send pictures so you know that your pet is safe and sound. Housemates would be my loving and gentle 5 year old son and my fiancé. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly. I’m always available whenever you need me. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. Short notice or planning months in advance? I’m here! I have two children who love pets and give them plenty of friendly attention. I also have a chihuahua who gets along with other dogs but is convinced she’s truly a cat so she doesn’t play much! Pets remain leashed at all times during walks and get walked multiple times a day during pet-sitting.
