About: I grew up with dogs and a cat, and as an adult I have been blessed with birds, cats, dogs, rabbits and hermit crabs! My dear dog passed away after 13 years and while I am not yet ready for a new full-time roommate, I would love to give my love and attention to your pets. As a long-time pet owner, I am adept at walks, administering medication, pet routines and some grooming, as well as plenty of attention and affection. I enjoy exercising your pet or if the animal is more sedentary, singing or reading to them. You will have nothing to worry about while you are away. I am self employed and work virtually, so I will be available to your pets throughout the day and night. At most, I would be away four hours at a time. At this time, I do not offer care in my home. However, I am happy to stay at your home, which I've found is a happier situation for your pet.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for quite a while and have cared for many different kinds of dogs with a wide range of needs. I have experience caring for senior dogs, including safely distributing and administering different types of medications as part of their daily routines. I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., which allows me to plan my days around pet care needs. On days I don’t have class, I’m fully available for walks, drop-ins, extended stays, and giving pets consistent attention throughout the day. Even on class days, I’m able to provide care before and after class and make sure pets stick to their normal routines. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, needs, and any specific instructions so they feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care guidelines closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and house rules. I make sure doors and gates are secure, keep pets in safe areas, and maintain a calm, clean environment. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, pet-friendly space with close supervision, plenty of attention, and a comfortable area to rest and play. I’m careful about monitoring behavior, limiting exposure to hazards, and adjusting care based on age, energy level, or health needs. I also believe communication is extremely crucial, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep owners informed and confident that their pets are well cared for.

“I can’t say enough good things about Sue! She was so incredibly accommodating and patient with my dog. My dog, Sadie, was uncharacteristically anxious and scared on our vacation. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. Sue gave Sadie so much love and attention the whole time I was at the aquarium. I was able to have a good time, knowing my dog was in good hands. Sue kept me updated on Sadie’s progress with texts, pictures and videos. I am so very grateful and would recommend Sue to anyone seeking a great pet sitter!”

About: I am an animal lover. I have watched other’s pets for long and short periods of time (6 months). From puppy to elder dog. To healthy to needing medications. Your dog, when with me, is the most important person in the world to me. I don’t text or talk on the phone when with your pet. All my attention is focused on your loved ones safety I work part time from home. Very flexible hours You name the time of day or night and I can be there. I am looking for 3-4 regular clients. I cannot have a pet overnight. It’s not allowed where I live. I can watch your pet at your pets home, which I think makes them feel more comfortable. I normally just sleep on the couch with the dogs. When they are with me, they are as loved as they are my own. It’s very hard for me to say goodbye so it’s often when I am with a doggy for 45 min and I am only booked for 30 min. I am just switching to Rover from Wag I had over 300 dogs and 50 preferred clients. If you were to go to their site, you will see, I am by the numbers, their highest rated walker. I am switching to River because I feel Rover provides more support for the walker and the pet owner

About: I have a french bulldog pug mix named Bugzey.He is very aloof wifh other dogs but loves people and especially car rides through Ashaway!I have a Jack Russell terrier named Nyko that LOVES TO PLAY WITH TOYS!His favorite game is chase and catch with his pink beef flavored ball!He tend to hoard all of his toys!I also have a miniature pinscher named NEMO who is the leader of our pack.On walks he leads by 5 feet to ensure every aspect of the ambient terrain is safe.That is the canine pack that your dog will have a joyful time with.I love dogs and I have to stay home as my pug gets completely frazzled if I try to leave!Bugzey obviously has separation anxiety.I will do my absolute best to care for your dog as if it were one of mine.Your dog will never be unattended and my Nyko who is a JRT (Jack Russell Terrier)will surely show your dog everything he knows about staying actively amused and entertained for the entire day to make every second count! I am a stay at home dog parent. MY PRIORITY IS MY DOGS! I have lots of land all beautifully landscaped and live on a quiet country road surrounded by farmland and peaceful tranquility. Exercise is paramount to a healthy dog which is why we walk over a mile a day!We even use a stroller for our seniors that aren't as happy to walk for an hour.Exercise is included while your dog stays on our premises! I have a very large fenced in yard but still provide 24/7 supervision as I fervently believe that fur babies need protection. We love being outdoors and being active. Simba is my youngest and he is full of pep to playfully engage the most energetic of all dogs.Yes we go on walks but lots of off leash romps throughout my large fenced in premises as well.My philosophy is that a well exercised pet is also are the most vital healthiest and happiest.

I am stay at home mom and have a dog called Rhody. The most important thing for me when it comes to caring for a dog is to be trusted by the dog, and to make it feel secure where it stays. I always try to communicate through the eye contact with them or their gestures. And I make a schedule so that I can take a walk in the sun for about an hour a day in addition to their bathroom time.
