She had a box of dog toys & my puppy found them & started playing right away. Her yard is not fenced however, she had a tether line that allowed my pup to explore most of the yard. Sharon also entertained my pup with our own favorite toys from home such as bubble & puzzles. This was my 1st time to try this service & to leave my 5 month old puppy & I was nervous at first but, Sharon's calming patient personality put me & my pup at ease. I am a stay at home dog parent. MY PRIORITY IS MY DOGS! I have lots of land all beautifully landscaped and live on a quiet country road surrounded by farmland and peaceful tranquility. Exercise is paramount to a healthy dog which is why we walk over a mile a day!We even use a stroller for our seniors that aren't as happy to walk for an hour.Exercise is included while your dog stays on our premises! I have a very large fenced in yard but still provide 24/7 supervision as I fervently believe that fur babies need protection. We love being outdoors and being active. Simba is my youngest and he is full of pep to playfully engage the most energetic of all dogs.Yes we go on walks but lots of off leash romps throughout my large fenced in premises as well.My philosophy is that a well exercised pet is also are the most vital healthiest and happiest.

Finn got along really well with her two dogs and was always excited to go to Margo's house when I dropped him off in the morning. She was having a really hard time separating from me at all. Sue took the time to get her acclimated with the new environment and allowed me into her home to give Sadie time to adjust and get comfortable. She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. I enjoy helping families with their fur babies as I settle into being a stay at home mom! About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). I am also able to take pups out on field trips to the beach and hikes :) I live by the fact that all animals deserve the upmost respect, love, and support. I have dedicated my life to conserve the animals that populate the Earth and the habitat they depend on. I look forward to the next adventure with you and your pet! I am incredibly flexible with my travel radius and scheduling, reach out with any questions! I am a full-time student at URI and have senior-intensive classes during the week. About: I've had at least one dog in my house since I was in first grade. My first dog is no longer with us however, I currently have a 9-year-old black lab and a 7-month-old silver lab. My dogs love to go on hiking trails, and with your permission, I can also take your dog to new locations. I unfortunately don't have experience with other people's dogs except for friends and family. I'm currently working part-time, so I'm very flexible with times. I will put my dogs' needs first, however, making sure I have time to give them the exercise and attention they deserve. My dogs are my best friends. I always show love and respect towards them. I also understand how a dog's life can be boring sometimes. Giving them a new environment to sniff out creates a happy and exhausted pup. I try to take my older dog on a new walk/hike every week to give them an adventure and something to look forward to. I'm hoping to provide the same for your dogs. I am also a runner, so I wouldn't mind running alongside your dog. Walking/hiking/running, whatever you prefer.
About: I’m a 41 year old professional who loves animals. I have a 4 year old cat of my own and have always wanted a puppy as a child. Animals are loving and calming to me. I help care for them they help me. I will dog walk which keeps them happy and me active. I will drop in on cats and dogs to feed play with and help go to the bathroom. If it’s the right fit for your family and pup I would stay 1 night a week and definitely weekends overnight while people are away or traveling. “I took Mia for a trial day with Dana, Mathieu and their two sweet dogs. I wanted to be sure it would be a good fit for all involved! They took great care to introduce everyone slowly to be sure all the dogs were comfortable. All seems to have gone very well, by the time I came to pick her up, Mia was feeling quite at home. She put herself to bed early. A sign of a good day! I will definitely sign her up for a longer stay!”
