“I want Sharon to be my pups forever auntie. I have never boarded any of my dogs. I lost my boxer at the end of December 2002. I’ve always had dogs but as time passed I felt this sense of freedom that I’d never experienced before. I booked a 7 day trip to Nashville. I had no responsibilities so why not right? 3 months before the trip (November 4th 2023) I went to an adoption event and came home with a very scared Texas pup. Sharon took him several times before our trip so that he could get to know her. He is not easy to say the least. She was great with him. While we were away she sent me daily messages and pictures. She kept reassuring me that he was doing great and telling me to enjoy myself when I would tell her I couldn’t wait to get home to him. When we returned to get him he wanted to stay with her. When we got outside to leave he ran back inside with her. Sharon had big smile she again reassured me that it happens sometimes. I am so lucky to have found Sharon and will 100% recommend her to everyone.”

About: I've taken care of my neighbors cats for about 3 years give or take. I got my own cat about 2 years ago and he is one of my bestest animal friends. I have experience with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, cases of emergency, and one time I was sitting a cat the owner had me take it on walks! I have never had to administer medicine on a cat before, but I have for dogs so it is definitely something I could figure out or learn.

She played calming music for Sadie and gave her her favorite treat- peanut butter. By the time we picked Sadie up, she was very happy and more back to herself. About: I am very sensitive about dogs feeling and mood. And I have many experiences that they can read my thoughts. So always try to do my best to treat them sincerely. I am stay at home mom and have a dog called Rhody. The most important thing for me when it comes to caring for a dog is to be trusted by the dog, and to make it feel secure where it stays. I always try to communicate through the eye contact with them or their gestures. And I make a schedule so that I can take a walk in the sun for about an hour a day in addition to their bathroom time. Because regular exercise and sunbathing help dogs feel bright and their mind and body function smoothly. Clients can customize schedules for their dogs to me, and I won't deviate from his routine as much as possible. I always fill your dog with leashes and go for a walk, but if they meet me several times and have a solid relationship, I also take them to the dog park. If they need to release their energy. A scaredy or old dog can make my family have a blast at home.

About: I'm pretty new to Rover, but I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and have experience with dogs, cats, hedgehogs, fish, and other small pets. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, including seniors, and have experience administering oral medications, handling emergencies, and providing daily exercise and enrichment. I’m happy to schedule a meet-and-greet before services to learn your pet’s routine and ensure they feel comfortable. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out, my goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority, and I treat every home with respect—often leaving it a little cleaner than I found it. I am working a part time job during the weekdays, usually the shifts are 11am-4 or 5pm, and on the weekends I work longer shifts which vary in time. However... I have many weeks off here and there so I am free a lot of the time. My job is pretty flexible most of the time so I can leave work to walk your pups and make sure they are okay and then go back to work. My yard has an Invisible Fence for my dogs which works out quite nicely and whenever I have other people's dogs over I make sure to keep them on a leash so no accidents happen. That being said, I live with my parents so I would be more geared towards servicing in home visits and stays with your pets at your home.
About: I've had pets of all types from Agway to Petco and beyond since I was 12 years old. My bond seems to be the strongest with dogs, but some say I have a gift with all animals. I recently cared for my best friend Salty for 16 years, and he would want me to share my lessons learned with other deserving pups! I work only part time, remote and in the office. My schedule is very flexible and I love to be outside in any weather. I am focused on dogs, but if you have some other unique friend, I'm willing to discuss options so not pet is left behind! I have a large garage pups love to run in, and I’m very close to 6 parks and the beaches, and do not have any other pets at this time. Salty, our Jack Russell Terrier left us on May 30, 2025. Although we miss him terribly, we learned a lot about dogs over the past 16 years with him!

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. I adopted a Golden Retriever from the South before I married and then adopted another dog (Springer/Brittany mix) from the shelter once I was married. He was the best $25 I ever spent!! He was like my best friend! Then we rescued a German Short Haired Pointer- what a love ! Those boys were very active and required daily runs! I took care of them both until they passed away. When they left us, we rescued two English Setters from Turkey. They are hands down my absolute sweethearts. They are 10 and 12 now. We aren’t running the beach anymore, but we are very happy with long walks in the woods. They are so spoiled - sleep by the fire, sleep in bed with us, sleep in my car- it’s like their crate and they absolutely love to be in it. I also had a cat that I rescued who lived 8 years with us until he passed away and now I have a barn cat. I feed her nightly, but I’m positive I’ve been feeding an opossum for some time! We have met a couple of times- from a distance! I feed her, talk to her nicely and let her be. I have also taken care of my neighbor’s Irish Wolf Hound when my neighbor had long days of doctor appointments in Boston. I am excited to start taking care of cats and dogs for more people. I know what it’s like to need someone you can trust. My pets are like my children! I am obsessed with their well being. I want them to be happy, safe, well fed, exercised and loved all the time!!! “I want Sharon to be my pups forever auntie. I have never boarded any of my dogs. I lost my boxer at the end of December 2002. I’ve always had dogs but as time passed I felt this sense of freedom that I’d never experienced before. I booked a 7 day trip to Nashville. I had no responsibilities so why not right? 3 months before the trip (November 4th 2023) I went to an adoption event and came home with a very scared Texas pup. Sharon took him several times before our trip so that he could get to know her. He is not easy to say the least. She was great with him. While we were away she sent me daily messages and pictures. She kept reassuring me that he was doing great and telling me to enjoy myself when I would tell her I couldn’t wait to get home to him. When we returned to get him he wanted to stay with her. When we got outside to leave he ran back inside with her. Sharon had big smile she again reassured me that it happens sometimes. I am so lucky to have found Sharon and will 100% recommend her to everyone.”
“Christina was the best Rover we have ever had! We felt so comfortable leaving Bo with Christina while we were traveling overseas. We received daily updates and Bo looked like he was living his best life and getting plenty of exercise. As soon as we got home, Bo slept all day!! Will definitely be bringing Bo back!”

“Our dog, Bailey stayed with Ashley and John for 10 days. Bailey is 7 months old and I was worried how she would do away from us that long. She did great! They are very caring and responsible people who treat your pet like their own. Ashley sent me pictures/videos daily. They have a great fenced in yard for the dogs to run and play, they took her on walks as well and they have a gentle dog of their own who was a good companion. There were a couple other dogs that came during Bailey's stay and you could tell they were gentle pets too. She loved playing with them which I could tell by the pictures and videos sent. I plan to board Bailey with them in the future, they were great!”

“Miranda and her family took exceptional care of my two dogs and treated them like they were a part of their family while my husband and I were away. Miranda sent me pictures and let me know how they were doing periodically which was greatly appreciated. She was also able to accept the booking with short notice and her rates were very affordable.
