About: I've been a pet owner all my life, from birds, to hamsters, to dogs, I have experience with them all. I love animals and always have. Dogs have always been my favorite but I've also helped with livestock, birds, and a variety of rodents. I have two cockapoos one with special needs because of a spinal injury so I no longer watch dogs that aren't small due to caution with playing. My husband and I have almost an acre of land for active dogs to run on as well as a a nice neighborhood path and Lake Redman close by. We have an electric dog fence for the whole property for owners who would like to use it. I'm a photographer by trade so you'll get daily photo updates of your puppers if you'd like. I obviously deal with dogs with special needs due to ours needing special care, as well as pets with food allergies, and lots of energy. I spend a lot of time traveling for work and know how important it is to have someone you trust to take care of your pets, leaving you worry free on your vacation. ***Please note: I do require meet and greets for new clients and won't accept day of bookings unless I've been introduced to your pet beforehand for the dog and my safety. This ensures they're comfortable with me in your house, they aren't aggressive, and they can get to know me first. I'd love to welcome your dog into my pet caretaking family while you're away! I'm currently also accepting long term dog walking clients! I can't house sit overnight at homes with lots of cats as I'm allergic so before you book an overnight please note that restriction. I look forward to working with you and taking care of your pets! I am a photographer full time but my schedule is very flexible unless it's a wedding. Walking dogs or taking care of them is a great break throughout my day from editing in front of a computer screen. Our yard has an electric fence that clients are welcome to use. Otherwise, dogs stay leashed outside at all times to avoid any running away or escaping. In homes I'm careful to make sure doors stay closed as well. Typically clients discuss any dos and don't with their pets before they leave and I follow them to a tee.
12. Angela C.
“Angela has loved all animals since childhood. She treats other people's pets as if they are her own. She makes sure to follow all directions when caring for pets and gives them lots of love. For kitties, she is extra kind and understands that they can be a little scared around new people. Angela takes her responsibility of care seriously and would be a great sitter for your pet”
13. Sarah M.
“I am a first-time customer with Rover.com. I submitted a request for a petsitter to watch my cats while I was out of state. For six days (including Labor Day weekend), Sarah M. took excellent care of my “Little Ones”. During all ten visits, she went the extra mile and cleaned up the occasional fur balls (yuck🤢) and small-scale disasters my cats made. My cats took a liking to her and that doesn’t usually happen. That means there’s something special about Sarah M. She is thorough, meticulous, kind, considerate, and professional. I’ll gladly ask her to watch my pets again! Thank you, Sarah! You’re a godsend!!😊💯👍🏾”
14. Keegan D.
“Awesome with my dog pack! Great personality and very good with communication!”
15. Vickie & Richard G.
“She has two dogs of her own, and loves cuddling up with them. She always takes her time to really get to know animals, and really cares.”
16. Jenny S.
“Jenny was phenomenal! She was on time, communicated well and was very flexible. We loved all the pictures and videos we got while away. She did an awesome job and our pups absolutely loved her. Thank you again!”
17. Evelyn B.
“Evelyn took great care of our dog while we were out of town for the weekend. She took her on three walks a day, fed her on schedule and played with her throughout the day. Our dog actually grew very attached to her and even cried a bit when she had to leave! We would definitely use Evelyn again!”
18. Emily S.
About: Hi! I’m Emily! I have always been a lover of animals and took that further and became a vet tech in 2009 until 2017! Since I’m no longer in the vet world, I miss being able to care for pets and my pup would love to have a playmate every now and then! I do work full time, 6a-230p but I am dedicated pet owner and love to hike, go to the dog park, and use the dog run we have at my apartment to let them run! I have plenty of room for them to snuggle on the couch or run/walk as well as being a frequent flyer to the local dog park!
19. Kayla W.
“Kayla was fabulous! We had her stop by to let the dogs out while we were out of town for the day. The dogs loved her and she communicated during the visit. We will definitely use her again!”
20. Stephanie B.
“As always, Stephanie did a great job checking in on our cats, Murry and Sadie. She always arrives on time and is able to administer Sadie's thyroid medication even when Sadie tries to avoid it. I trust her with my fur babies and you can too!”
