About: I have 30+ years of pet sitting experience in homes and shelters and am Fear Free trained and certified. Will provide trusted and compassionate care for your pets including exercise, enrichment, and walks, along with lots of cuddles. About: Hello! I have a large fenced yard in Little Lake that gives me the opportunity to board dogs that need space to run and exercise, and I have extra space inside my home that allows dogs who also enjoy their space/alone time. I’d love to offer boarding or daycare to anyone who needs extra support for their animals. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. About: I have taken training classes with one of my pups at home from beginner to advanced. I have most experience with puppies and adult dogs with a little experience with senior dogs and dogs with health issues. I have not had much experience sitting for cats, however I grew up with cats who I had from the time they were kittens through to old age. I am comfortable with pets of all ages! I also grew up with dogs as big as Old English Mastiffs and as small as tea cup Chihuahuas, so I am comfortable with all sizes as well. I am at the vet clinic for work 4-5 days of the week 8:30 - 6:30 or some days 8:30 - 1:30 depending if I work four 10 hour days or 5 days with two shorter days in the week. I have weekends off and have no obligations on the weekends. I have two playful pups at home that love to meet new people and dogs! Every couple hours they go on leashed potty breaks in the yard or around the block since we do not have a fence. They go on 30 minute walks almost every day and a special hike or activity at least once a week. The duties are split between my boyfriend and I, and usually our roommates don't mind helping while we're out of the house! While no one is home, my pups are gated in the livingroom with all doors closed throughout the day as we have a younger curious pup who chews things sometimes. They always have access to toys, fresh water, and couches/dog beds to lounge on. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in our bed with us at night, but we have two dog beds available as options. We love to give a couple treats/snacks throughout the day as well! When sitting for other pups, I rarely leave them unsupervised since I don't work on the days that I sit for other dogs. I really enjoy making the time spent with dogs coming to stay with us fun, so they can feel as relaxed as possible while away from home! As a pet parent myself, I respectfully follow all of my client's rules and what is required regarding their pets and home.

“I have a reactive (due to trauma) pit bull who makes a terrible first impression to the point where people cross the street when we are walking. She is so scared of new situations and other dogs, she becomes highly reactive to the point where most people avoid her. She has separation anxiety and takes medication to help, but new people, dogs, and environments are just tough for this dog. I can't trust just anyone to care for her or walk her. Kendra's energy made an immediate positive impact on my dog and I would trust her with any dog or cat. She's compassionate, thoughtful, and detail oriented. You couldn't wish for a better pet care professional than Kendra. My only advice is get on her calendar now because it fills up quickly! “Heather came and checked on my Greta while we were out of town. Greta is a 5 month old kitten with a severe heart problem. She has to have medicine twice a day and she hates to be alone! Medicine and her need to be around us had me a nervous wreck to leave her. I had messaged Heather before I knew she worked at PVSEC and before I knew the severity of Greta's condition. We had a trip planned way before we adopted Greta and I needed to line someone up to take care of her for a few days. I told her we were coming in with Greta to see the cardiologist because our vet was really worried about her heart which had me terrified of losing her and leaving her later in the month. Heather made it a point to go by and check on Greta during her shift the next day. She sent me pictures of Greta to show me she was okay. Obviously, I had to book Heather. She was so wonderful. She kept me posted on everything. She knew what warning signs to look for in regards to Greta's heart and she gave Greta so much love. When I was extra worried a couple times, she went right over to check on Greta for me. I knew Greta was a priority for Heather. I truly cannot put into words how great she is. If I have to leave my baby again, I want Heather to take care of her.”
