âWith both me and my boyfriend working in healthcare and having crazy schedules, we decided to get a puppy. Then our work schedules got flipped and we were panicking on what to do with little man while we both had to work Christmas Eve and day and 12hr shifts. Then came a Christmas miracle, Kaitlyn and her amazing family watched over little Apollo. I was so nervous as this was my first time using Rover and I was unsure about the legitimacy, but Kaitlyn had great reviews and went above and beyond to make Apollo feel welcomed in her home and. She stuck to his feeding and training plan, tuckered him out with tons of play and made sure to update me with adorable pictures throughout the day! If you have a chance to book with her I would say absolutely do it, I would trust her with a human child!!â

âCache always answered messages promptly and provided frequent updates of how Macie was doing while I was at work. She asked questions about the routine, overall habits, and any specific medical issues.. So I felt very comfortable leaving Macie with Cache đââď¸. I left Macie with her for the day, and some nights Iâll probably do the same for work; Iâm grateful to have someone in Albany that I can entrust my precious Macie with. Thank you and I will be booking with you soon!â

âMaryEllen was all I could have asked for and more to watch my little girl Nala! She was kind, easy to work with, responsive, and thoughtful! She went above and beyond to make Nala feel at home and welcome! I will absolutely ask her to watch Nala again!â

âCheryle is great! She sent pictures during the day which made us feel very comfortable that our dog was nice and relaxed and enjoys being with Cheryle and her dog. Her house is set up very nice and the backyard too. I would highly recommend Cheryle!â

About: Over the course of my childhood my parents have been teaching me the proper way to care for not just people, but of course, our pets as well. After a while, tending to our pets was no longer so much a task for me as it was for my siblings. Taking care of and spending time with animals in general became something I still enjoy doing to this day, and as far as I know, will be one of my favorite things to do forever. With over 10 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, you can feel confident in my professionalism and knowledge of what would be in your petâs best interest. I want to go beyond just keeping your animalâs needs met but to make sure they feel happy and comfortable at all times.

She is my loveâ¤ď¸ I treat every dog as I would my own with love and careâ¤ď¸ Reach out and schedule a meet and greet before booking and we can get to know each other and introduce the dogsâ¤ď¸ My current schedule is I am home full time. Ava loves to play and we go out several times a day for potty and play in my fenced in back yard, I have a fenced in yard. My dog Ava is 5 years old and she loves adults and children. She is very friendly and would love to play with your dog.

About: I am absolutely obsessed with cats and I feel like I do Rover more so because I love interacting with other cats. Itâs not even a side hustle :) Should you need me, Iâm reliable, efficient, caring, and will treat your cat like he or she is mine. I can also travel anywhere so just let me know whatever is needed. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so itâs just me and my studies now â which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week Iâm fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a clientâs home, I focus on keeping your catâs routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection â whether thatâs cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If Iâm welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own â with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

I live and breathe dogs â training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.
âAmazing service! Communicates well with me during the day. Sends me photos and feedback. My puppy loves them and is always so happy to see them. I look forward to working with them further.â

Second Avenue dog parents share their Rover experiences
Will always always always leave Macie with Cache whenever Iâm in Albany and need someone I trust to watch her. Macie simply loves Cache and seems to know when weâre on our way over đ¤Ł. Iâm grateful for Cacheâs flexibility and how easy it is to communicate with her đŤśđź.

Emily was so professional and loving with our best buddy Ebbet. He can be shy and nervous, and Emily was incredibly patient and thoughtful giving Ebbet time and space to acclimate to a new person. She went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Ebbet loved her, and he is choosy with his love đ

Laura was really responsive to all of my questions leading up to the first sitting, which was only set up the day before. She communicated throughout the whole day sending pictures and videos to make sure we were comfortable and knew how Willa was doing. I would definitely schedule dog sitting with Laura in the future!
