About: I have had dogs & cats in my life since childhood. A parakeet too! I know how close we become to our pets & how important good care is. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun! I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well. I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.

About: For many years I have provided compassionate care for dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Having had a rescue farm for 20 years, I have had the privilege of adopting and rescuing dogs, cats, sheep and goats and caring for each of them from homing to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. In addition to providing care for pets of all ages, I especially welcome the opportunity to care for senior pets making sure they receive the gentle attention, patience, and love they deserve in their golden years. About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. I would be available for daytime care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am available throughout the week days after 5 pm. I can take your dogs out for walks around town, the dog park, or your neighborhood. If transporting in the car I have multiple ways to make sure they are safe including harnessing them, crating them, etc. I am also able to bathe the dog if desired.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2015, although I’ve always grown up around animals. What started as helping friends and family while they were out of town—sometimes for weeks or even months—quickly became something I truly enjoy and take pride in. Before any stay, I like to meet the pet and owner together to get familiar with their routine, any special activities they enjoy, and any health needs I should be aware of. This helps ensure a smooth transition and allows me to care for each pet as if they were my own I recently moved to Maine in May, and I am excited to make this my forever home. I have open availability and can be flexible with scheduling to meet your needs At our home, I have a spacious 1.1-acre property with a beautiful front yard, a peaceful pond, and a large backyard all of which are unfenced. Pet guests enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time in these open areas. I always meet with the owner ahead of time to learn about the dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. From there, I create a care plan that helps your dog feel comfortable and keeps their routine consistent while they’re with me.

About: Taking care of my two rescue dogs is what I enjoy. One is now 10 years old, and the other 16 years old. I have taken care of many other families and friends pets as well. They have always been extremely pleased with care provided. I hope to one day open and operate my own non profit dog rescue. Schedule is wide open as I am in transition between careers! About: I've been caring for all sorts of animals (farm animals to marine mammals to house pets, mostly dogs) since I was 9 years old. I grew up with many pets in my home and had my own dog since I was 8! I have lived around the world working in the field of marine science. Traveling makes it hard to have my own pets, so when I am on land and settled for a certain amount of time, I try to spend as much time with animals as possible! I am an outdoor enthusiast and love running hiking and getting exercise. I also am great with senior dogs and giving them the appropriate care and special needs. About: I’ve been around and taking care of pets for just about 12 years. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, fish, and a tortoise. This has helped me to learn and understand how animals need things just like humans do! I love animals just as much as humans! I am currently in Bath and looking for a little side work and some time with furry friends! My schedule varies as I work full time as well, but I am more than happy to coordinate and figure out a time that works for you! When looking after your fluffy friends at your home, I like to take some time to learn their normal patterns in their own comfy space, and just get comfortable with them! We share our home with our playful black Lab, Caymus—he’s friendly, active, and loves making new fur friends. My husband and I are both ultrarunners, so Caymus joins us on trail runs and hikes regularly—he keeps up better than we do, even at 8 years old! I specialize in providing safe, attentive care that follows your pet’s normal routine—whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or just keeping them company while you’re away. We live on 2 peaceful acres at the end of a dead-end road, offering a calm, quiet setting for dogs who stay with us. While we don’t have a fenced yard, we use an invisible fence for our own dog and closely supervise all outside time. Visiting dogs are always supervised outdoors, and I’m happy to follow your individual instructions—whether that means leash walks, yard time, or a combination that fits your pet’s needs. Please note: all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations for boarding. We don’t host cats in our home, but I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for cats at your home. I work remotely just a few hours each week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the weekdays and some weekends.
