“Stella had a great time with Dorothy. She provided constant updates and kept in contact with us the entire time we were gone. We have one tired happy dog. Can’t wait to use her again!”

“We had a fantastic experience with this pet-sitting service. The couple who watched our pets for two nights went above and beyond to ensure they were well cared for and happy. We received regular updates and lots of photos, which helped us feel at ease while we were away. It's clear they gave our pets excellent attention and we could tell they were in good hands. The entire process was smooth and we will definitely be using their services again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“My second time having Kristi and her family keep Tucker, she’s always flexible with my time, responds promptly, and most importantly Tucker is in good hands, I really appreciate all that she does to make the visit effortless”

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs, have had multiple throughout my childhood, and adult life. They show nothing but love, and I love to reciprocate it through my care for your pet. I am home 7 days a week, and doing schooling online. I will give your pet the love and attention they need and deserve. I currently go to school full time online, so my schedule is super flexible! My schedule is your pets schedule, and will attend to anything and everything they need! I live in a house that sits on about an acre, fully fenced yard. I have scathed every foot of my yard, as I have a miniature dachshund who is very curious. I also have a doggy door on the back door of my home, that can be used at all times.
“Our first boarding experience was smooth for everyone! Cooper (our 7 months goldendoodle) looked so happy in all the photos and videos Dustin was sending everyday. Easy communication and clean and friendly environment! We will be back! Thank you so much!”

“Destiny and Mariana are AMAZING, they took great care of my pup. They sent me updates with photos and videos everyday. Sometimes twice a day. They were on time and my pup was safe. They also expressed how great my puppy was with their dogs. Book with them they are great, no complaints. I will be rebooking with them in the future.”

“My dogs were healthy, happy, and smelled so nice when I picked them up! Nicole took good care of them and even gave them treats for the road. Next time I need to board my dogs, I will be contacting Nicole!”

“Ashli was absolutely amazing. Our kitties absolutely love them. They are such kind people. We received continuous updates with photos and even videos. We will absolutely use them again.”

About: I’ve house/animal sat for numerous family and friends over the years. As well as I have a 4 year old Dalmatian. I love taking care of animals and would be delighted to anytime. Due to having a pup at home I can not stay overnight but more than happy to let fur babies out super early/ late. I am currently a full time nurse I have plenty of free time on my hands when requested in advance! Also have help when needed! I have a big fenced in back yard with lots of room to run around. As well as a spunky Dalmatian to play and keep your fur baby busy.
“Leslie was very easy to communicate with and sent a lot of pictures/updates throughout Remi’s stay. Remi got treats, watched dog movies, belly scratches, and many cuddles while at Leslie’s home. Leslie was also very flexible and accommodating for when our travel plans changed last minute. I would definitely use her again/recommend to anyone!”

“Josh is great! Sends daily updates with lots of pictures. I never had to worry about Nilla & Coosa while gone to Utah this past week. Especially not having cell service during the day. I knew my girls were being well taken care of. Josh is my go-to sitter when I need to leave my girls for overnight stays!”

About: Hello! My name is Yazmin and I’ve loved all 4-legged creatures since I could walk on my own two. Ever since I was little I have been surrounded by animals. From horses and goats on grandma’s farm to parakeets and dogs in my own backyard. I currently have 2 furry friends, one siberian husky who loves a dramatic flare and one yorkshire terrier who, although smaller, is just as mischevious. These pooches are family so I can only make sure that they are well taken care of when I’m gone, which is what all fur parents want, expect and deserve. I hope to provide that same love and care for your own furry friends. I have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes but am currently limited to only caring for dogs that are 20 lbs max. I have experience with puppies as well so no pup left behind! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you and I hope you and your pooches have a paw-some day! 🐾 Although I work full time, I dedicate as much time as I can to my own pups and you can expect for me to do the same with yours. However, I am available full time for boarding most holidays and summers so your furry friends can be taken care of no matter the event. I live in a large home with lots of yard space to walk your pup! I have two dogs, one outdoor who has his own fenced in area and one indoor who has just as much love as I to give. If need be, I can accommodate the indoor space so that your pooch may remain separate from my indoor dog. Your dog deserves to feel welcome, safe and protected so please feel free to express any concerns you may have. Crate and bed must be provided but fear not, more than enough space is available to accommodate your pup!
About: I have grow up with all kinds of Pets. I live on a bunch of land and I love to go for walks. My family always have me go and pet/house sit for them when they go on vacations. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine. I go to school online so I’m always home. My child loves to go on walks, so I’m always going on walks. I do not have any rules about animals on furniture because I love to cuddle them. I will let them out, feed them, take them on walks, make sure they have water, and love on them when I’m not doing anything

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I currently share my home with three rescue dogs. Each came to me with their own fears, anxieties, and traumatic past experiences, and helping them build confidence and feel safe has taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and individualized care. One of my own dogs, Evie, came from a severely abusive situation and was so fearful that she wouldn't allow anyone to touch her for weeks after coming home. Through patience, consistency, and learning to work at her pace, she transformed into the happy, affectionate dog she is today. Experiences like this have given me a special appreciation for nervous, shy, and rescue dogs who may need extra understanding. I understand that not every dog is immediately comfortable in a new environment. Whether your pup is shy, anxious, easily overstimulated, or simply needs extra patience, I take the time to learn their unique personality and help them feel secure. My goal is to create a calm, positive experience where your dog feels like part of the family. Your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and enrichment while in my care. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play, and because I understand that some dogs need breaks from social interaction, I also have space to separate pets when needed so they can relax and decompress. Safety, comfort, and trust are always my top priorities. I am available Saturday through Monday and would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member as if they were my own. Pet care is already a central part of my daily routine. I currently care for three rescue dogs, so my days naturally revolve around feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, training reinforcement, and making sure each dog's individual needs are met. I am available Saturday through Monday and am home for most of the day during those times, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime. Because I already maintain a structured routine for my own dogs, visiting pets are able to settle into a calm and consistent environment. I believe every dog is different, so I take the time to adjust to each pet's energy level and personality, whether they prefer active play, walks, enrichment activities, or simply relaxing in a comfortable space. Creating a safe, low-stress environment is my top priority. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time, and all pets are supervised during introductions and play sessions. Because I have experience with rescue dogs and dogs with anxiety, I pay close attention to body language and comfort levels to help every pet feel safe and supported. My home has plenty of space for dogs to relax, and if a pet becomes overstimulated or simply prefers their own space, I can easily separate dogs to give them a calm environment to decompress. I never force interactions and always allow dogs to adjust at their own pace. I follow each owner's instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate routines, and any special needs. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, so I provide regular updates, photos, and communication throughout their stay so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Seaton home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Seaton.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Seaton sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
