About: My husband and I have always had dogs and cats. We recently said good bye to our 2 16 year old mini-doxies. We miss the pitter patter of their paws and are looking to fill that gap. Although we are not ready to be full time pet parents right now, we would love to take care of your pups. As we had a paralyzed doxie and one with diabetes, we are adept at administering medication and expressing male bladders. I work out of the home 2-3 days a week and volunteer drive for a local organization. Your pup would not be left for more than 4 hours without me or my husband checking in. At Our Home: We have a small fenced in yard. No pet is left unattended when outside. Walks and hikes with your pup are always an option, either in the neighborhood or if they like to ride in the car, there are many trails nearby. At Your Home: I will follow whatever instruction you give me. My preference is to watch your pup in your home as they will be most comfortable there, but they are welcome in my home as well.

“Debbie watched our dog on two days while we enjoyed the park and Bar Harbor. She has a perfect setup at her new home for taking care of your dog. She sent pictures throughout the day and was very considerate of my dog’s needs and making sure she was comfortable. Definitely recommend to others!”

“We used to leave Rigby with the same pet sitter for many years, upon their closing we had yet to find a reliable pet sitter other than family and friends. We saw Krista's reviews and decided to try it out for a weekend. I am so glad we did, Krista cared for Rigby in her home just how we were used to! I will definitely be using her services in the future!”

“We have used Jaclyn’s services twice now and would not hesitate to again. We love getting photos of Dani’s visit, which we call her “field trip” or “sleep over”. Jaclyn is very responsive and quick to answer any questions. She was also very understanding and easy to work with when our travel plans had to be postponed for a short time.”

“She is amazing with my timid dog and captured some amazing photo updates during his stay! Her set up and farm are perfect for any dog frightened of the vet or clinical settings. It has worked wonders on my sweet old dog and he loved his stay so much. Thank you for going above and beyond in all the wonderful updates.”

“Karen was amazing! Sent plenty of updates, was quick to respond to any of my communications, and was great with Alvin. He had a great time at her place, and came home happy and tired.”

“Chris was amazing! We were passing through town with our dog and wanted to see the National Parks, and so we needed a place to drop him off for a few days. Chris met us at our hotel and sat with us to learn all about Hugsy’s routine, then took pictures throughout the stay so that we could see Hugsy firsthand. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog, Chris - you really put us at ease!”

“I can't say enough good things about Jess! I was really nervous about leaving my dog with someone for the first time, but she made me feel so comfortable. From the moment I dropped him off, it was clear that she genuinely cares for animals. She treated my dog like her own, giving him plenty of attention and love. She sent me regular updates and photos, which really made me happy to see him throughout his stay. He seemed so happy and content when I picked him up, and I could tell he had a great time. I will absolutely be booking with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter!”

About: I love dogs (and cats) more than anything! I started nannying and pet care over 15 years ago- happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day for regular or once in awhile walks, hikes, check ins, meds or overnight care at your place or mine! My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region with fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets for vacation. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was young. As well as many farm animals. I just separated from the military and kind of wanting to do something that makes me happy for a while. Which is getting to love on all the fur babies. I can give medicine as I have been treating my pup now for a few years. I can also take them for walks if wanted. Pretty free schedule can accommodate last minute bookings. As far as the weekly routine if I’m booked I will be with your pups as long as you’d want me there to entertain them. Would love to discuss house rules before hand, such as are they allowed on the furniture, what are feeding times, do they get crated at night? I would also like to do a meet and greet before as well, that way they have met me and im not just a new person to them while their people are gone.

“I am so grateful for Bethany and her family for the loving care they give to my Australian shepherd, Remi. They care for her and treat her as part of the family. My affection and confidence may best be expressed by sharing that Bethany is listed in my contacts as “ Remi’s Rover Mom. “ I highly recommend 🙂🙏🐕”

“Charlotte is wonderful with all types of pets. Be it a cat, dog, fish what have you. Charlotte is one of very few people I can depend on to take exceptional care of my 12 year old grumpy old lady of a dog. She treats every pet like her own with love and compassion. Anyone hiring Charlotte to watch their pet would be able to rest assured they are in good hands.”
