Absolutely awesome caretaker of our English Bulldog. She was attentive and communicated some health concerns that's may have led to more serious issues. We are so thankful to have found Isabella on Rover. She may have helped save our dog! She sent pictures, and kept us updated throughout the visit to the vet I recommend 5 stars!

So glad I found Bri - from the first visit, I knew I would feel 100% comfortable leaving my girls in her care while I'm out of town. She's fantastic, takes her role as caregiver very seriously, and I cannot say enough good things about how well she cares for my dogs. Can I leave more than 5 stars?!?

Brittany was absolutely WONDERFUL taking care of our Honeybear!!! She was warm and kind and Honey was so comfortable and loved her as soon as she met her!! She has lots of experience dog sitting, so she has a beautiful, very clean, dog friendly home with all the doggie beds and toys they could ever want! Also a nice big, fenced in back yard so Honey could run and play and do her business whenever needed. She had lots of playtime and snuggles with Honey, took her on walks, sent pics, and gave us updates every single day! We've had some great sitters, but none as phenomenal as Brittany!!! We would absolutely LOVE to have her keep our baby in the future!!! -Heather C.

Lindy was an excellent sitter for my dog, Max. She was very accommodating and even squeezed him in at the last minute over the Thanksgiving break. She was super communicative, sent pictures and messages every day and a couple videos too when I first dropped him off because she knew I was a nervous Mom. She washed his sheet and slobber rags when I picked him up, gave him a refresh and sent him home with some puppy treats! Lindy will be the only person I will leave my Max with if my sister is not available, she was AWESOME!!!

My dog was well taken care of and would definitely book again! Thank you for taking excellent care of my furkid and welcoming him into your home. I truly appreciated the updates and photos since this was my first time leaving my dog with anyone since we usually take him everywhere with us, but we couldn't this time. I can tell he enjoyed his stay! Thanks a million!

Jessica was able to take care of our babies in a pinch after our house flooded unexpectedly. There was a lot of flexibility used because we didn’t know when we’d be allowed back in our home and she willingly kept our boys extra days while we lived out of a hotel for a week. Thank you!!!

About: I became a dog mom at 19, and have been dog-sitting off and on ever since! While the extra income is always nice, I mainly do it to prevent coming home with a new puppy every week. I treat all the dogs I meet like they're my own and give them as much love as I do to my own babies - an 11 year old Lab mix and 6 year old German Shepherd! They both have loved every dog I've ever had staying at my house. I'm comfortable with all breeds and all ages, and have no problem giving medications if needed. I am available during the daytime for long walks and have a very flexible work schedule, which means a lot of play time for your pup! I’m currently working remote part-time and have the flexibility to choose my own hours, which means I have plenty of spare time during the day to spend with your pup! I treat your pets as if they are my own, giving them the same amount of love and attention if not more! I always make sure they are well cared for and that the client comes home to a clean house and happy pets!

Isabel was great to work with. She came in so clutch, after our original sitter got sick, and we needed to scramble to find someone in a day. It ended up being the best thing that could have happened - as Isabel did a wonderful job. She was fast to respond, and scheduled a meet and greet right away. She lives in a rural area, and has a fenced in backyard - which is ideal for dogs like Brady to roam free and have fun. She was also great about sending pictures and updates - without me having to ask, which I really appreciated. Brady seemed to have a wonderful time, and I'd highly recommend her.

Kristal was great! Right off the bat, she was understanding when my shift ended late and I had to bring the dogs later than planned. Being our first time ever leaving our dogs somewhere, we were nervous, but she sent us pictures and videos of our boys. She even bathed them before pick up. We will definitely be sure to book with her again. They boys seem to have loved the large space to run around and other dogs to play with!

About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 20 years and lost my sweet rescued shepherd collie mix, Roxie, 12 years ago. Since then I’ve found comfort in caring for and loving other people’s dogs. Dogs are the best! I’m currently unemployed, so I have lots of time and attention to devote to your pets. I’m available most days of the week, nights and days. I have a small home where your dog will feel cozy and comfortable, with 126 acres of woodland, a dog park, and rail trail to walk and play on.

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

100% of Seagrove sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Seagrove landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Seagrove home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Seagrove.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Seagrove sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
