About: I became a dog mom at 19, and have been dog-sitting off and on ever since! While the extra income is always nice, I mainly do it to prevent coming home with a new puppy every week. I treat all the dogs I meet like they're my own and give them as much love as I do to my own babies - an 11 year old Lab mix and 6 year old German Shepherd! They both have loved every dog I've ever had staying at my house. I'm comfortable with all breeds and all ages, and have no problem giving medications if needed. I am available during the daytime for long walks and have a very flexible work schedule, which means a lot of play time for your pup! I’m currently working remote part-time and have the flexibility to choose my own hours, which means I have plenty of spare time during the day to spend with your pup! I live in a home with a big yard that is unfenced, but do have a leash in the yard option to let your pup run around and can take on fun walks as well! My daughter is almost 15 and also a dog lover and will gladly let your dog snuggle with her. Your pet will be very loved while here! I do work a full time job Monday-Friday so I work 8:30-5. Weekends I am home a lot more frequently. My dogs are very loved and taken care of. I have a 40lb black lab and a 6 pound chihuahua! They get along so well and even cuddle. I love animals and treat other peoples animals like they're my own. We have a fence in area. It's not attached to our home,but it is well shaded with 3 cement stalls where they can go lay down if they wanted too. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. It works great cause its really long so if I needed to step on it I could to stop them. I Iam looking forward to meeting you and and taking care of your fur babies . It works great because it's really long so you can jump on it if they start to take off. Since we have a fence in area now,when they in it ,I will check on them periodically to make sure they are ok. About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Growing up I was around breeds such as Labradors, Cocker Spaniels, Chows, German Shepards, Poodles and Lhasa Apsos. The first time I became a dog mom was to Zoe, a Bichon Frise. I lived in Chicago at the time in an apartment so I had to walk her multiple times a day. Bichons also need a lot of maintenance with their fur, so I’m very familiar with grooming methods of that type of breed. After Zoe, I became a dog mom to a Pit Bull/German Shepherd puppy, Garner. I got him when he was 8 weeks old and had him for 13.5 years. I understand the level of care a puppy needs as well as a senior dog. I’m also very familiar with handling large breeds on a leash. I understand how a pet is part of the family and I will show your dog lots of love and affection, just like I would my own. I am available Monday-Friday 8am-2pm then from 6pm-8pm. About: I became a dog mom at 19, and have been dog-sitting off and on ever since! While the extra income is always nice, I mainly do it to prevent coming home with a new puppy every week. About: I have loved animals my entire life, always love meeting and caring for new animals and I take pride in making the animals around me feel loved, safe, and cared for while their owners are away I currently am working roughly 3 hours daily for 3 days a week and would love taking in animals on a day to day basis I live near a road that doesn’t typically have traffic (major side road in the country), but even still I always make sure to take dogs out on leashes to ensure their safety. I do have cats but they can be put away to ensure your animal doesn’t feel threatened or scared. I have a safe space with plenty of quiet for your animal to be crated if they are feeling stressed or just need some alone time
