Millie was very comfy there, had fun, and walked right back in when we arrived! What a blessing. Millie was worn out and calm when we came, too- such a relief as she is normally very high energy. Lauren also communicated her schedule realistically and was on time and efficient, giving us info needed to drop off and pick up, and accommodated us during her visitor staying there, which she told us ahead of time. Her close proximity to the beach/river was also a nice surprise.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old, and I'm a recent cat mom of a little under a year. I have experience with senior dogs and cats, too. I'm currently working full-time at a school, but I'm available every weekday after 4 pm and all day on the weekends to stay the night :) I will respect your space and leave it as I found it. I have plenty of experience working with all sorts of animals, I volunteered at the SF zoo handling various small mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. I have babysitting experience under my belt as well and I know that your pet is your baby, so rest assured you are in good hands. My best friend and housemate is also a vet tech, if it eases your mind at all. I'm currently working part time as a waitress at a restaurant 4 times a week. My current schedule is Tuesdays 11-6pm, then Fridays-Sundays I work the closing shift 4-11pm. I’m currently a student at UCSC. I love hiking, going to the beach, and going for walks. I’d love to have the chance to care for someone’s pet. I am available every day. I have a lot of free time to spend with people’s pets. I’m currently a student at UCSC, so pet sitting on the side would be a great chance for me to make extra money! I live in a two bedroom apartment in Santa Cruz. I have one roommate who loves animals. I also love animals. I have plenty of space for an animal to roam around and feel comfortable, and I have a space to put a crate or a dog bed. Usually when I first meet a pet, I introduce myself and try to get a sense of what the animal is feeling. If they’re shy, I give space, if they’re friendly, I’m open to cuddling for hours. Next to my apartment there is a park that I love to take the dogs I dogsit. It’s a very nice walk. If I am watching someone’s pet, they are welcome to roam around freely in my apartment if they’d like.

Sometimes I get called to work when needed I take my dog out for 30-45 minute walk twice a day, gave her chew brush biscuit after each walking sessions. I checked her bowl once or twice a day to ensure her water and foods are there for her to eat. I also brush Claire’s hair once a day.
