About: I grew up with four dogs in the house and haven’t gotten one of my very own due to SO preferences haha I live on my own now and would love to care for your doggie using my excellent petting skills and patience fortified by raising three kids (5-9 yoa). Your dog has to be good with younger kids that love petting dogs. I work from home so your dog will have to be okay with me sitting for periods of time between potty breaks and petting. I enjoy having dogs for short periods and my kids leave plenty of scraps on the floor, so please be sure to let me know your dog’s dietary requirements. I have a gated deck and a comfy couch for lounging. Your dog will have the option of the deck but not a requirement. I take walks around my yard and there are plenty of rabbit and deer smells to entertain doggies.

I follow your pets normal feeding schedule and will only provide the food and treats that you provide to avoid any allergy or food intolerance concerns. On school days, my husband is typically working from home so there is usually someone home without long periods of being left home alone. About: Hello all! My name is Alex and I am currently a stay at home mom here in Powhatan VA. Ever since I can remember I have been an animal lover. I have never not owned an animal, and currently have two dogs, two cats and a turtle of my own! I also have volunteered 200 hours at the PSPCA in Newport News, where I gained a lot of experience in the care of different types of dogs and cats. My husband and I live in a house with almost an acre fenced in, so your pup will always have a place to run around when staying with us!! Communication is key! I will be sure to keep you updated about your pup throughout each visit, as well as send pictures periodically. I look forward to watching after your pet! I'm currently a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of free time! With my flexible schedule, I can almost always meet my clients scheduling needs! Large fenced in back yard with a dog door that allows them to go in and out as they please. We always walk the fence before a stay to make sure there are no holes your fur baby could escape from! I am available to keep your fur baby overnight at our house. I am unable to stay at the clients house due to being a mom to two beautiful little girls!

About: I have been around animals my whole life including dogs, cats, horses, iguanas, chickens, and rabbits. I am retired and have plenty of time for pet care. I am retired and have a very open schedule. I have two small dogs, a cat, and rabbits that my daughter helps me with which gives me flexibility. I have 2 small dogs, a cat, and rabbits on nearly 2 acres of land. I live in a neighborhood and have plenty of places to go on walks.

About: I'm person that does the work and listen to the animals too. I worked with military working dogs. Have raised my own, I even sucker for the abandon ones too. My life has been learning how to groom, including nails, medicines and how to feed certain dogs due to there digestive track. I can mend, cuddle and play with all type.but snakes sorry I can't do that. My soon to be husband also loves animals such as I do because they also help with mental health. Emotional support and therapy dogs are a real thing and they do help. Just like the little young lady that found last months wonder the roads of Amelia County covered fleas and ticks and no tags or nothing she now how's her forever home . Just ever day thing for more I come home ever 2 to 3 hours to let mine out. DUE to the current job I currently have once this jobs takes off my plan is.to do this full time for all animals. We have fenced in back yard with 3 acrea with it in the middle of the Amelia that has been forgotten about. I retired military and retired law enforcement looking to find something better that what I currently doing. Animals and kids make me happy and they would have a forever ever home with me. Plus my family loves animals too. If the our place did work out the have 100 to play on for the day too. My husband is sucker for all types of animals too.

About: I have cared for/worked with 1,000s of dogs over 10+ years across all breeds, ages, and behavioral issues. I managed a dog facility for several years, have worked in multiple other dog facilities. I have taken K9 CPR/First Aid and very knowledgeable on K9 behavior and physical well being. I have trained 100s of dogs in my lifetime. Your dog could not be in better hands. :) I stay home full time so your pet would have 100% of my time and attention! I can be flexible to you and your pets needs! I have very friendly dogs to keep your pup company! If your dog isn’t much of a playful type - that’s okay too! My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!

About: I was a pet care associate at Old Towne Pet Resort where I provided all manner of pet care services to approximately 250 to 300 dogs and 200 cats on an ongoing basis. Exercised animals and maintained sanitary conditions in the facility. I also worked as a dog walker for Doggie Workout where I managed approximately 20 client accounts., exercised and cared for clients’ dogs on a daily basis, and made sure that each dog was well taken care of with food and water before I headed to the next walk. About: While I grew up with dogs throughout my adolescence, I also have years of experience working as a pet sitter and dog walker. I spent years working at a dog daycare and veterinary clinic as a technician, and prior to that was working as a pet sitter in community. I have always had a passion and immense love for animals , and deeply enjoy being able to take on work that allows me to spend time with them. My own dog, Kaia (the Golden Retriever puppy pictured), means the world to me so I know first hand how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone else. I will provide your dog with patience, kindness, compassion, and fun, and hopefully be able to ease some of those worries! I have a very flexible schedule with a lot of free time that allows me to prioritize Rover. I can usually work around your schedule to walk your pup whenever needed! Growing up around dogs & having worked with them, I feel I have a good understanding of safety and the precautions necessary to ensure it. I am very patient and understand that each dog is unique and will have its own individual traits and needs. Working with dogs is such a passion of mine which allows me to bring lots of enthusiasm and joy into the job. Because of my own dog I will not be offering pet-sitting services in my own home, but am excited to offer walking services and pet sitting in the client’s home.
