About: I've taken care of all kinds of animals since I was 16. Dogs, cats, fish, birds, lizards and a rabbit. I have experience in older animals who need medication multiple times a day. I'm currently working part-time with few hours so I have a very flexible schedule and will have plenty of time to meet the need of you and your pet! I stick to a strict schedule if any kind of medicine is involved. Aside from that I am more laid back in my approach to pet-sitting. I love giving treats and extended play times!

About: I have grown up around, and taking care of animals all my life. One of my favorite quotes speaks dearly to me and is very true; " A house is never lonely where a loving dog waits." I whole-heartedly believe in making your fur babies feel comfortable and loved and reassured while you are away; from snuggles, play time, walks and pictures and updates to you. I have experience being around different types of dog breeds from working in the veterinary field, and having dogs as pets, and family members / friends with dogs. My own dog breeds consisted of a Wolf, a Husky, Jack Russell and Aussie mix and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Cavachon mix. My Aussie Mix was rescued from the Southside SPCA when he was 1yrs old; he is now 2 and a half yrs; the Cavachon mix was given to me because the owner did not want him anymore. My dogs are my world! ( I am that person that takes thousands of pictures of my dogs and spoils them rotten lol). I will make sure to treat your fur babies the same way and keep them safe. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. I make sure to communicate expectations as best as possible to make sure we’re all on the same page.
