I tried one night with John and Ellen and it seemed to go well so I booked again. Chica has stayed there for 3 nights and she seems to be doing so much better with her anxiety. Their place seems quiet and peaceful for her. She doesn’t come back scared. I only received photos on one day during her stay but she appeared to be doing well with the other dogs and looked content! It’s very hard to please a depressed dog but they seem to do so! I am definitely booking with John and Ellen again for a longer stay and know I won’t have to worry about Chica. Just hoping for more pictures next time! :)”

We had been worried about leaving him at such a transitional time, but she made the extra effort of meeting him prior to his stay with her, first in our home, then in her own. His stay seems to have gone quite well -- he was returned to us happy and well-cared for. Kim also sent us daily photos which were absolutely remarkable -- professional quality! She clearly spent time connecting with him, and playing with him. We are sure to use her services again, and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

He has typically gone to a very nice kennel but we’re glad we made the decision to board him this time. He was able to get lots of love and attention from Alara that a kennel wouldn’t be able to provide.This will be Finn’s new vacation spot when his humansi go away.??????????”

He normally takes a while to warm up to strangers and gets stressed easily, but I could tell they made him very comfortable and he had lots of fun during his stay. He’s not the easiest dog to sit since he has medications and has certain behaviors in new environments, but they handled everything like pros and I got lots of updates throughout the day. They truly care about your pup and I could not have asked for better people to trust my dog with!”
