“Becca went above and beyond to take care of our dog blue while we were on vacation. Blue was boarding with Becca and her husband at their place. They would make Blue delicious, nutritious food everyday. The pure excitement in blue’s eyes when he sees the food shows in the pictures Becca send us regularly. We get multiple updates of blue everyday with tons of pictures. Becca and her husband even took blue to Ithaca falls and let him play in the water. Blue got exercised more than we asked for. Blue had problems with allergies during his stay with Becca, but they took good care of blue: wiping his paws after every walk, and feeding him medication hided in a cheese wrap everyday. If you want someone that’s attentive, treats your dog like their own dog, goes above and beyond to meet the individual needs of your dog, and send you updates constantly without you even needing to ask, choose Becca! My boyfriend and I are so grateful for Becca and her husband’s effort in taking care of Blue. They are the ones that made us relaxed enough to enjoy our vacation - knowing that blue is in good hands. About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and today I’m a proud cat mama to five of my own while also caring for strays and other cats in need. Some of the cats I care for live in outbuildings attached to my home, where I’ve created comfortable, protected setups specifically for them. About: I've had dogs my entire life from puppies to rescues! I've also been a grooming salon manager in Ithaca for 9 years. I've cared for many different breeds, ages, temperaments, and quirks all dogs have and I love them all the same. I have two dogs of my own Luke and Yoda. Luke is a 6 year old lab mix around 35 lbs. He is very loving and playful. Yoda is a 5 year old miniature fox terrier mix who has unlimited energy and is the sweetest snuggler. I am home all day with my baby and two dogs of my own so I can give the same care to some extra dogs! I treat every dog as if they are my own. I have lots of extra blankets to make sure they have there own space (i do recommend to bring some of there stuff like blankets, beds, and toys to make them more comfortable) and have extra room to separate them if they need to be alone. I will always make sure they are comfortable, happy, loved, and safe!
About: I work shiftwork in a hospital and dogsit on my days off due to my love of dogs (and to fulfill the urge of getting a second dog!). Our home includes myself, my husband, and our friendly female bernese mountain dog Berkeley. No kids or other pets. We are comfortable with dogs of all breeds and activity levels. We only host one dog at a time so your dog will get all the attention. There is a fenced yard in a calm/quiet neighborhood. Our schedules revolve around our dog Berkeley so your dog will get just as much personalized attention. My husband and I only host dogs when I am off of work/there are few other plans so your dog will rarely be left unattended Our home is spacious and there is a fenced yard so plenty of room for your dog and our dog Berkeley. You are welcome to provide a crate but we don't require dogs to be crated at our home.

Since I was young, I could always connect with other people’s pets, many times they would say wow he/she never let’s anyone do that etc. I often feel that I connect better with animals than with people.” I work at a kennel in auburn ny from 8am to 10am in the morning and evening from 4-5:30 but before and after that I try to fill in my time as much as possible seeing and taking care of as many animals as possible I have my own cat Anya but as far as taking care of your animals it would have to be at your place of residence. From Danes to Chihuahua's I'm certain I can give your pup the love, patience, care and energy (high or low depending on the pup) that they need to live happy, comfortable and confident lives. I currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who I've worked with through several training classes. I'm happy to help and follow through with current trainings you are working with your pup on while I interact with them. I'm able to remove ticks and have a first aid kit always on had and a base medicinal understanding and can administer medication if needed. I'm also doggy and human first aid certified (American Red Cross). If your pup is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and well socialized (or needs a little nudge and isnt aggressive or reactive) I'd be happy to take them to a dog park with or without my pup Luna. Does your dog have a special diet? Bon appetit, I'll be sure to get them their right food at the right time! Senior dogs need love too, I'll be patient and we can take a nice and easy stroll or take a little car ride! Speaking of, I have room in my subaru for any transportation your pup may ever need (including a doggy seatbelt). Overall, I'm flexible and want to help you and your pup have a happy life! I am currently employed but my schedule is very inconsistent at this time so reach out for availability checks and I can work with you! I'm very flexible in my scheduling. Right now I do not have the capacity for boarding or keeping any dogs besides my own at my current residence. Here we have a large yard with room for our pups to run and their recall work has been going well. Dogs can be on the furniture minus the kitchen table! We also have a large basement with room to run there too. In your home, I follow your rules and will respect your privacy. Please inform me of any specific requirements in your home or anything I should be aware of. I will act professionally and respectfully, just like I would ask someone if they were entering my home. I am flexible so just let me know of anything and I can adapt!

I am employed full time as a PhD student at Cornell and am seeking a side job that I could enjoy as much as my current job. I live by myself in a quiet, smoke-free home with no other animals or children. I am in a pedestrian-friendly area with excellent scenery for walking. Because much of my work schedule is flexible, I will have time throughout the day to take care and spend time with your pet. I also have more availability on weekends. I took some classes and this one I took at my vet which I was amazed because they taught me how to drain the adrenaline glands and some dogs have a severe issue with that quite often. My dog does! There are classes that you can go in and they will take the time and show you for some things. I like to to participate in these classes so I have knowledge when it comes time to if anything happens. I started dog walking at 12 years old. A long with other jobs of course throughout life. I have been pet sitting for almost 15 years. I am a full time pet sitter with all of your needs and wants for your fur baby as if your fur baby was my own! You see...... Play, snacks, walks, songs, and naps will be provided daily. I do have two cats, who will probably stay out of the way, but cat friendly creatures are always preferred.
