About: Lifelong pet owner with 2 years professional experience as a Veterinary Technician and 3 years working in boarding kennels. Experience includes dogs, cats, horses, reptiles and rodents! I have experience with long term petsitting and geriatric pet care and medication administration, as well as emergency response. I have raised a few dogs and cats (and a horse) of my own and have cared for newborn puppies and kittens and medically sensitive pets. Morning and night feeding schedules are no problem, as well as three times a day medication administration if needed. Dogs who love walks and hikes are always great for me, as I have plenty of time to get out in neighborhoods or longer hikes in the mountains if applicable. I am happy to have dogs off leash in hiking environments once trust is established, if applicable. I am happy to give pets as much attention as needed, including take dogs out on walks or car rides. I am also happy with staying with them overnight if needed. I have experience with handling larger more energetic breeds as well as those who are aggressive and/or territorial. I enjoy caring for social cats who enjoy human contact and need company, but am happy to leave them to their independence if they desire. I have dealt with a variety of emergencies both working at a veterinary clinic and caring for elderly and sensitive pets, and am trained in recognizing concerning health issues in dogs and cats. My cat is my best friend in the world and I do everything I can to make sure she is happy and healthy, so I understand when others always want the best care possible for the animals in their life.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life. I have 4 dogs and I want to be a vet. I will and can train puppies also. I’m available on the weekends! From around 2 pm to late at Night or spend the night throughout. I will make time for your fur babies I have a fenced yard and have 4 friendly fur babies to play with other fur babies! About: I have raised and cared for a variety of animals my entire life including dogs and cats. I am certified in basic veterinary care and emergency animal (and human) medicine. I am comfortable with any age of pet ranging from an energetic youngster to a high care senior. I look forward to meeting your fuzzy companion! I am a college student who has a set schedule of classes and the occasional extracurricular activity. I also work part-time on campus with a job that is almost exclusively on the weekday evenings. I can care for your pet in the afternoons, early mornings, or on the weekends depending on what your pet needs! About: Growing up we had 3 large dogs. Two of which were raised from puppies. I loved them with all my heart. Nate had many medical issues and we would have to make sure he had his medicine so I know how important and hard that can be. Sam was a very large breed and as he got older his hips weren’t as sturdy. We would walk him while supporting his back legs as the grew weaker. I understand aging dogs and how to watch out for their health. I am also a photographer for dog sled racing. I have helped many racers herd their dogs into formation and back to their kennels. I love working dogs and larger breeds. I enjoy tanking photos of dogs while they work or doing what they love. I am a freelance photographer, videographer, and marketer so I make my own schedule. I am available at almost anytime throughout the week. Most of my meetings are held on zoom so I seldom need to be somewhere other than a place with WiFi. I enjoy taking walks and playing fetch. I do not believe in off leash exercise as I don’t trust other dogs and dog owners. I enjoy playing tug and enriching experiences making dogs use their sense of smell and practice their manners and training.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
