She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: Animals have been a constant in my life since childhood. I've loved and cared for many pets of my own - dogs, cats, ferrets, small animals, reptiles, birds, and fish - which has given me hands-on experience with everything from syringe feeding to crate, house, and litter box training to medical and senior care. My entire home is open to pups (human beds and furniture), but will adhere to any rules you have in your home. About: My kids and I are dog and cat lovers. We look forward to teaming up to care for your pet while you are away. I've had my own dogs for the last 20 years and they are beloved members of our family. We've had a wide variety of personalities in our own dogs, including some fosters who had experienced prior trauma, and I feel comfortable with caring for all types of dogs. We don't have any pet cats as I am allergic, but I used to volunteer for an animal rescue and care for foster cats up for adoption at Petco when we lived in North Carolina so my daughter (14) could get her kitty cuddles, and we would be happy to drop in on your cats while you are away. I grew up in the remote country of Wisconsin, with a bunch of farm animals, as well as cats and dogs. Growing up with pets, and farm animals is crucial for knowing animals. I'm always taking my roommates dog for walks, and to the dog park. We have a big fenced in yard in the heart of Missoula. Meru (my roommates female dog) is really friendly and loves all other cats and dogs. I would focus my energy on your dogs and cats of course, but if Meru and your dogs cross paths they'll be best friends for the day. About: I've taken care of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens since I was a kid. My mother worked at an animal shelter so we always had fosters around to care for and socialize. I've also had dogs and cats as family pets for as long as I can remember. About: I have trained one dog since she was 6 weeks old and is now 7. I also have a rescued abused dog that I trained that is 2.5 now. I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I work full-time but can frequently stop by to take care of your pet. I love walks as well and playing fetch (or whatever your pet prefers). I would stop by at least 3 times a day and walk at least twice. For now, I will not house pets more than 2 pets in my home due to limited space. About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family.
