“Snowflake was well taken care of for the day while we got to explore the not so dog friendly parts of San Antonio. Breanna was very responsive, friendly, and flexible making it a great experience for us out of towners!”

“Jeffery and his wife are super friendly and accommodating. They've taken my reservations with little notice and my dog has fun and comes home exhausted. Will definitely book again!!”

About: Please note that Rover retains a 20% service fee from each booking, so my rates are set to remain fair while still reflecting the level of care and attention I provide. I prioritize creating a safe, loving, and attentive environment for every pet, and I take great pride in the quality of care I deliver. I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals—including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and reptiles—since a young age. Over the years, family members and friends have consistently trusted me to feed, bathe, and walk their pets, which has helped me build a strong foundation in reliable and compassionate animal care. I do have two young daughters, ages 4 and 2. They are very well-behaved around animals and understand the importance of being gentle and respectful—such as not pulling on tails or ears. I also work from home as a nail technician and run a small coffee/food business, which allows me to be present throughout the day. Because of this, your pet will receive consistent supervision, attention, and plenty of playtime. I’m very flexible and happy to work with you to accommodate scheduling needs, including times and dates. I offer a variety of toys and a spacious backyard where pets can safely roam and play. I also provide high-quality treats, including 100% beef or chicken options, as well as organic peanut butter cookies made specifically for dogs. In addition, I provide eye, ear, and paw wipes to help keep your pet clean and comfortable during their stay.
“Debe was amazing! She was caring from the moment Codey and I met her at the door. She sent me some updates via photos and one video that kept me reassured the entire time I was away from my beloved pet. I definitely would use her services again and highly recommend her.”

“Was available on short notice! Excellent communication while oir dog was being watched. A+ that there were other dogs to play with. Will definitely book again!”

“Our baby was so excited to see April and her babies. She completely forgot about me when she saw her. April always takes the best care of our fur baby. There isn’t a single person I trust more than her! 🥹”

Either way you can rest easy knowing your beloved animals are here with me and in a safe place, I will be more than happy to do so! Thank you for your time and hope I’m a good match for you and your fur babies. I currently have free time at my home so I would love to spend some time with a friendly pet. I am currently a stay at home mom. I like to give attention when attention is needed to pets. If they want to play I will play with them or if they need to go out to potty, I will take them out. Anything your pet needs I will be there.
“We just moved in the area 6 months ago. This is the first time we used Rover and the first time my fur babies will be staying in a different house. You can just imagine how nervous I am and also for my fur babies. We did a meet and greet before deciding to book. My husband and I were very pleased with the way they introduce our dogs with their own dogs. We are also very happy to meet everyone that will/might interact with my dogs. The first day I was nervous to leave them but Kristen made sure I received updates and pictures the whole day. She assured me that they are fine and they are having a great time, which they were. I really like that they are good with communicating with us and letting us know if they have questions or we need anything from them. I definitely RECOMMEND Kristen!”

“Jack had so much fun with Becky & her pup! He played all day and came home exhausted. She was super flexible with timing to drop off and pick up, and very communicative. We received several updates and pics throughout the day! Will definitely be our go-to in the future!”

I will definitely ask Megan to watch my furbaby in the future!!!!”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Morgan! I am a stay at home mom of 5 active children. We’re an active family but I homeschool so my children are home with me all day. I’ve taken care of many dogs, cats and various other animals from the time I was very young! My family has always had many pets around our home and my children absolutely love all pets as their own. Pet care would fit right into our daily routine. I have many hands that can help with pet care and ensure that your pet is very spoiled and well loved while in my home. We will not board more than 2 pets at a time. If the two pets are from different homes they will not be left in the same room with each other when we leave our home. Your pets safety while in our care is of utmost importance to me. I can crate your pet as needed or not. Take your pet on walks and make sure they are given plenty of attention and love during their stay in our home.
About: I've been working with animals for almost 10 years. I was a veterinary technician in private practice and currently work at an animal shelter. I'm fear free certified and have a range of experience from healthy, medical needs, and seniors. I'm comfortable administering medications and providing medical care. I work well with scared and nervous pets and make sure their time is stress free as possible. I also have personal and professional experience with pocket pets and aquarium pets. I work full-time but I make sure to plan accordingly for your pets needs. I have an extra bedroom that they can stay in, if not comfortable having them around other pets. I also have a kennel if they need down time or like to have a safe space to decompress in. I have 3 days off during the week and those days will be filled with multiple walks, play sessions, and anything else that will make their stay comfortable. I have a fenced yard and my 3 dogs love playing and taking walks throughout the neighborhood. I have a separate room and/or a kennel for any pet that's not comfortable or needs additional time to decompress.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Sayers
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,093 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Sayers. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sayers commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 1,093 sitters in Sayers, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
