“Working with Eloisa was a dream! She did everything I asked and then some. My cats had no difficulty warming up to her and the photos she sent were heartwarming. I would have absolutely no difficulty using her again!”

About: Since I was born I have been involved with animals. We’ve had birds, dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and wildlife. I’ve taken care of some of the coolest animals and it’s a huge passion of mine! I’m currently working as a vet tech at a non profit vet clinic/animal rescue so working with animals is a huge passion of mine. I’m starting school in the fall to get my prerequisites done and then hopefully onto vet school! I love my pets so I will love yours just as much and treat them as my own. I’ve been around animals since I was born and am always trying to rescue/help some kind of animal!
“Jessica went above and beyond in caring for my 3 cats while I was gone. She spent extra time making sure my house was clean and made an extra trip back to check on my cats. She always responds quickly when I contact her and was always right on time for check ins. I would highly recommend her and hope I can use her again.”

About: I've either owned or taken care of cats and dogs my entire life. I love furry friends and I'd love to help you. I'm currently working a position remotely with some minor travel. Checking on your pet, playing with your pet, or walking. Your pet is easy to fit in my schedule. I have a shaded backyard and garden that animals love. They sit on the porch and sleep all day. My house is heated and cooled based on the time of year.
About: Hi! I’m a full-time registered nurse looking to pick up some side gigs doing what I already love—caring for animals. I have a strong medical background and bring a calm, attentive, and responsible approach to pet care, including pets with medical needs or special instructions. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always been second nature to me. I’ve personally cared for cats and dogs for over 5+ years and feel comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. Whether it’s walks or drop-ins, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of while you’re away. I work as a Registered Nurse and find that working with animals helps recharge my compassion and social battery before my next shift. I work 3-4 days a week and like having the flexibility to pick up jobs through Rover when I am available. Each of my cats have their own special needs. I am comfortable giving medications to your pets if needed as well as brushing, bathing, going on walks, and of course giving lots of love and affection. I use a pet sitter myself when I am out of town and know how important it is to pawrents that their babies are safe. No matter the pet, big or small, I'm happy that you would trust me to care for them while you're away!
About: I’m an active adventurous person ready to play with the dogs or take them on walks. I have helped family, friends and neighbors watch their dogs, whether it be just a check in or a week at a time! I work as a phlebotomist in my other times, help family and create crafts for my page! Seeing as I have a cat of my own, I make sure to put her into my daily schedule and make time for her to play with her and her as well as make sure her litter stays clean and her food and water bowl stay full! My cat is an indoor cat. Although she is aloof, she still loves to come cuddle and I always make sure that her food and water bowls are full, her litter is clean and her medicine is taken

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
