“We had a lovely meet and greet with Barbara. She was great with Dot while we were away as we could tell from her messages and pictures - and that Dot was a happy little critter when we got home. It's nice to leave Dot with someone we know will take good care of her.”

“Monica is fantastic! I have used her multiple times and always feel confident that my dog is happy and safe.”

About: I've had dogs of all ages all my life and think they are the 👌 👍 😍 🥰. I've boarded very senor dogs as well as young furry critters I'm a retired teacher so that I'm able to be free much of the time. I'm also a working artist and my studio is in my home. I have a bright house with a good sized fenced-in back yard. My home is near parks and conveniently located. The neighborhood is super-quiet with doggy friendly folk.

About: I have always grown up around dogs ever since I was little. I am a trustworthy pet sitter and love spending time with my pets! I have a lot of free time before I go back to school, and I’m looking for a side job. I love working with animals and I’m looking forward to pet sitting. I won’t be available to pet sit starting August 20th as I am going back to school- I will always make sure the pet is in my eyesight, I will play with pets and keep them occupied, and make sure they don't feel too overwhelmed and keep them calm.

About: I have years of experience caring for cats, dogs and rabbits. I have cared for older dogs with diabetes who require a daily shot and given extra play time to younger cats and dogs who need to use up their energy. I can provide care for multiple animals in one home and adjust to each pet’s personal needs. As a cat owner myself, I am sensitive to each cat’s personality and unique nature. I have given oral medication to cats who need treatment and always interact with them on their terms. I am happy to discuss your pet’s personal needs in order to keep them comfortable and happy. I love spending time outside. I often go for walks and hikes and love taking dogs along with me. Reach out with your pet’s needs and we can work something out. I make sure to follow the routines that your pet is comfortable with in their home. I always aim to be sensitive to your pets needs, body language and comfort level.

“Elizabeth was great! She got along well with my (very skittish) cats. All of her visits were on schedule, she checked in with me frequently, and she left everything neat and organized! I would definitely hire her again.”

“Regan was great! She visited Remy and made sure he was well fed and had a little attention while we were away. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Hoping to re-book with her in the future.”

About: Rhinebeck local with a 30 minute lunch break. Available for overnight in-home and/or dog walking services. Experience with giving oral medication. Big dogs and puppies welcome! Kitties and small animals, too! Minimal experience with reptiles (only leopard geckos) but I can watch them with care instructions. Generally I work early morning to early afternoon. No earlier than 5:30 and no later than 6:00 p.m. Weekends included. My days off are usually Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday. There are some exceptions as my schedule varies week to week. But I can and frequently do work around customers' schedules, especially with advanced notice! I am diligent in keeping an eye on animals in the home. Especially puppies/potty training animals. When we are out taking a walk (for dogs) I will cross to the other side of the street and not greet other dogs, even if yours is friendly. Better to be safe than sorry! Same goes for dog parks. We can go, but I will keep a close eye on any animals and leave if things get too hot.

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

“Venetia was so lovely with our dog who can be difficult with strangers. She was communicative throughout the whole process and flexible with our last minute travel changes. I couldn't ask for a better sitter.”

“Thanks Kimberly - everything was great - we really appreciate your helping us!”

“Kristel was terrific!! We were traveling and needed someone to walk and feed our dogs while we went into the city. They were well cared for and her photos of the dogs were great!! I wouldn’t hesitate to have her care for our dogs anytime we’re in the area.”

“Took super good care of our pet and was able to accommodate us last minute, would definitely recommend!”

About: Since 9, I have cared for animals of all ages. I have experience in at home grooming and pet training as well. Rover allows me to connect with not only your pets, but their lovely owners. As a new graduate student, I freed up my schedule to give me plenty of time to assist in pet owners’ needs. Currently, I work part-time, weekends are ideal! I own a senior border collie and young dachshund that are equally socialized to play with other dogs / cats. I grew up with all types of animals. Therefore, I can offer a variety of services.

About: Hi I am Christina, I will care for your pet as if it is my own. I decided to make it my career, I am a certified dog obedience trainer. I got my certificate from Animal Behavior College. I did volunteer work with service dogs and dogs working at Rikers Island. I do drop ins, over nights, dog walking and teach simple commands as well. I even offer leash training and weekly visits! Short notice is also fine with me, I know how hectic life can get. Your pet will be safe and happy with me. I have a pitbull mix and a meatball of a cat :) of my own. My dog weighs 65lbs. so big dogs do not intimidate me. I have had cats all my life, so caring for all their quirks comes second nature. My pets are my babies and I care for my clients pets as if they are my own. Caring for animals is a passion of mine and I hope to share my experience with you! Besides my clients that are drop ins during the week. I like to maintain my clients schedule that they have with their pets. When I am caring for pets my animals are taken care of by my mother :) I have a fenced in yard and my dog also gets tethered while in the back yard. I do whatever my clients require. Whether that leash walking, fenced in yard, crating.

About: I grew up in upstate New York, right outside of New York City. We always had a large dog and multiple cats. We've had fish and birds as well. We love animals and have rescued many strays. I am prone to taking dogs on long walks and hikes as I'm used to this from my upbringing. I am a very active and am willing to take your dog on out door adventures too. I've worked a lot with blind dog rescues as well. I've provided medical care and a lot of out doggie patient services to these blind dogs who are just trying to have a happier life. I think dogs are beautiful, loving creatures that bring so much joy to anyones life. I look forward to caring for yours! *I will sleep over your house, I don’t leave dogs alone overnight. The meet & greet is as important for me as it is the dogs to make sure I feel comfortable staying at your house. **I travel for work so my calendar may change further out. Please send me a note inquiring for dates more than 3 months away as my schedule may change from what is currently listed. I am a remote worker so as long as there is wifi in your home, I can spend all day with them. I will thoroughly love as many walk breaks as they'd like! I work with the owners on what is best for their dogs. I don't bring dogs into my own home so its really up to you and how you'd prefer me to manage them.

About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for over 10 years. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me and hired me to care for their pets for extended periods of time. I have done as little as walking their dog to hosting them for weeks at a time. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, and administering medicine. I work part-time so i am usually available to care for your little ones in the afternoon. I would love a long term, set schedule but I am flexible and welcome anyone who needs pupcare!! I have a beautiful pitbull/boxer mix who loves to play with others. She loves to run for long periods of time and share her toys and treats with others. My husband and I own a home with a very large fenced in yard where we would constantly watch them play. When I am in a client’s home I adhere to the dogs needs. I take them for long walks or exercise and play games to stimulate the mind.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and cats in my house. As the youngest of the family I was the defecto caregiver. As an adult I have been lucky to get to live with more animals but also watch and care for friends' pets. I currently work part time in post production so I have a pretty loose scheduling of my week to week activity. I also like to start my day pretty early so getting out and seeing pets is a great use of my downtime. I like to make sure that pets that get visits feel like they aren't all alone. I know when I travel I want my cat to feel like they aren't deserted. I personally like to make sure to have spare treats with me for any pet I get to look after but also ensure that the time spent in the home with the pet is spent as active as that pet wants to be. That can range from full on playtime to quietly sitting with them on the couch.

About: I have taken care of many types of animals- specifically cats and dogs! I have had numerous pets throughout my life, and currently have 2 cats of my own! I understand the love and admiration we have for our furry family members, and I bring that care and attention to every animal I meet. I am willing to negotiate pet care services, especially in circumstances of multiple pets, extended stays, etc. Please reach out if you have any questions! We can work something out! I am a graduate student taking night classes, so I can be available morning and midday, as well as most weekends. My schedule does vary week to week, but this can be overcome with coordination and communication! I am very attentive to my pets needs, making sure they have regular veterinary visits, are well fed, clean and cared for. Some pets also require exercise, so that can be a necessity.

About: I provide a variety of pet sitting services. I have owned and cared for pets throughout my entire life including dogs, cats, and horses. I have much experience caring for pets of my own as well as neighbors, friends, family, etc. I’m currently working from home as well as training horses and caring for my mini goldendoodle and am very comfortable around all animals. I can provide dog walking services, baths, and basic pet care needs in your home. I am an avid animal lover and I have 15 years of experience pet sitting. Having a very flexible schedule, caring for pets is the perfect job for me and I am very willing to work with pet owners and fulfill your needs regarding your specific pet. I currently work from home and train horses part time so I spend a lot of time at home with my dog and have availability in my schedule. I have a mini goldendoodle I care for in my apartment that I take for multiple walks a day. She is very friendly with other dogs.

“Haley was amazing with my dog, she knew how to play with him (as he is very active). She would go on great walks with him and i never had to worry when i had to work or leave town, she was available, caring, and treated my dog like her own. She even dropped in to feed to my cats when i need her to last minute. Highly recommend Haley!!”

Christina Y.
“I met Christina about 4 years ago when I moved up here from the town of Newburgh. I have three dogs myself two Yorkies and a golden shepherd. I love to travel, I usually take my big dog with me but as you know that can't always happen. I let Tina know where the key is and she comes and takes care of the fur-kids. All three of my fur babies love her so much they know when she pulls in and they know her by the name TT. You know you click with someone when they have two big dogs themselves and you are a huge dog lover. Tina really is an amazing young woman, very down to earth and is very passionate about following her career. Tina isn't just taking care of dogs, she's taking care of your babies. I trust Tina to be in my home and to take care of my fur-children and if she wasn't able to, anyone that she would recommend me to I would trust.”

Jessica G.
Star Sitter

“Jessica is wonderful with dogs. I have a high energy German Shorthaired Pointer who she is great with. When she comes to see us, my dog goes crazy! She loves to take him on long walks and hikes to hang out and get his energy out. Jess is trustworthy and I would definitely recommend her.”

Crystal M.
“Crystal has always seen the personality in every dog she cared for, it was not simply taking care of my beloved pets, she truly hot to know them and they in turned loved her back. Blessed by her positive energy and how she knew how to comfort or train properly my ( or I would say our) family pets. She is beyond loving and completely dependable. Any dog would benefit from her love. Melissa MC”

Blake C.
“I have known Blake since he was 16. We grew up together and his love of animals was always a quality I admired. Blake has had pets of his own and has always given them the care and treatment they deserve. I can also attest that he is great with other people's pets, like my boy, Roy. Blake is reliable and punctual and a great communicator. You won't have to worry about him cutting corners with your pets. Blake has watched Roy for extended periods and always kept me in the loop about how he was doing. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Roy was in great hands.”
