“Sarah took exceptional care of my cat! I felt very lucky to have such a kind and communicative person look after her while I was out of town. I can't recommend her more highly!”

About: I didn’t get to experience the joy of growing up with dogs or cats but as soon as I was able I began taking in fosters from the NYC shelter system. It was quite a learning experience spending time with many dogs (and a few cats) of all different types and personalities. I no longer foster but I bring the experience and dedication from working with so many shelter pets to caring for your furry family members. And as a pet parent now myself I have been through many sitters so I understand what makes a good one! A note on boarding and meet and greets: I’m happy to have boarding candidates come by to meet me and check out the space but I do not do meet and greets with my own dogs. My dogs are dog friendly but they are too chaotic and excitable to meet new dogs and owners right away. New dogs are kept separate at first and introduced at their own pace when everyone is calm. This minimizes stress for everyone and allows for better interactions. I currently work out of the house Monday/Wednesday/Friday but my schedule is somewhat flexible. The rest of the week I work at home and I am often available all weekend. Dogs in my home have access to a securely fenced large yard for running and fetch, as well as a quiet neighborhood for walks. If the weather is warm dogs have access to a dog door so they may go outside as they please. If your dog likes to play with other dogs mine will certainly be happy to accommodate but they can also have separate spaces if quiet time is needed. In your home I will make every effort to keep your pets schedule as familiar as possible while offering lots of love and stimulation. As someone who has had many sitters come through and stay at my house I understand the importance of trust and cleanliness so you can be away without worry.

“Elizabeth was great! She got along well with my (very skittish) cats. All of her visits were on schedule, she checked in with me frequently, and she left everything neat and organized! I would definitely hire her again.”

About: I have years of experience caring for cats, dogs and rabbits. I have cared for older dogs with diabetes who require a daily shot and given extra play time to younger cats and dogs who need to use up their energy. I can provide care for multiple animals in one home and adjust to each pet’s personal needs. As a cat owner myself, I am sensitive to each cat’s personality and unique nature. I have given oral medication to cats who need treatment and always interact with them on their terms. I am happy to discuss your pet’s personal needs in order to keep them comfortable and happy. I love spending time outside. I often go for walks and hikes and love taking dogs along with me. Reach out with your pet’s needs and we can work something out. I make sure to follow the routines that your pet is comfortable with in their home. I always aim to be sensitive to your pets needs, body language and comfort level.

About: Since 9, I have cared for animals of all ages. I have experience in at home grooming and pet training as well. Rover allows me to connect with not only your pets, but their lovely owners. As a new graduate student, I freed up my schedule to give me plenty of time to assist in pet owners’ needs. Currently, I work part-time, weekends are ideal! I own a senior border collie and young dachshund that are equally socialized to play with other dogs / cats. I grew up with all types of animals. Therefore, I can offer a variety of services.

I have over 25 years of pet care experience and provide catered attention for each pet I sit whether in your home or mine. I can provide references beyond my Rover testimonials, as I am still relatively new to the app. I have worked in pet care privately for several years. I am a full-time dog walker and pet sitter. About: I have taken care of all types of dogs for over 10 years. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me and hired me to care for their pets for extended periods of time. I have done as little as walking their dog to hosting them for weeks at a time. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, and administering medicine. I work part-time so i am usually available to care for your little ones in the afternoon. I would love a long term, set schedule but I am flexible and welcome anyone who needs pupcare!! I have a beautiful pitbull/boxer mix who loves to play with others. She loves to run for long periods of time and share her toys and treats with others. My husband and I own a home with a very large fenced in yard where we would constantly watch them play. When I am in a client’s home I adhere to the dogs needs. I take them for long walks or exercise and play games to stimulate the mind.

About: I grew up with multiple dogs and cats in my house. As the youngest of the family I was the defecto caregiver. As an adult I have been lucky to get to live with more animals but also watch and care for friends' pets. I currently work part time in post production so I have a pretty loose scheduling of my week to week activity. I also like to start my day pretty early so getting out and seeing pets is a great use of my downtime. I like to make sure that pets that get visits feel like they aren't all alone. I know when I travel I want my cat to feel like they aren't deserted. I personally like to make sure to have spare treats with me for any pet I get to look after but also ensure that the time spent in the home with the pet is spent as active as that pet wants to be. That can range from full on playtime to quietly sitting with them on the couch.

About: I have been taking care of dogs for over 10 years, giving them lots of love and attention. I also have a lot of experience and self learned basic training commands. I work from home and have a flexible schedule which opens my availability for lots of walks and outside play time with your doggo while they are with me. We have a fenced in backyard which leads to the side kitchen door. We also have an outdoor patio area that we love spending time in.

About: I have taken care of many types of animals- specifically cats and dogs! I have had numerous pets throughout my life, and currently have 2 cats of my own! I understand the love and admiration we have for our furry family members, and I bring that care and attention to every animal I meet. I am willing to negotiate pet care services, especially in circumstances of multiple pets, extended stays, etc. Please reach out if you have any questions! We can work something out! I am a graduate student taking night classes, so I can be available morning and midday, as well as most weekends. My schedule does vary week to week, but this can be overcome with coordination and communication! I am very attentive to my pets needs, making sure they have regular veterinary visits, are well fed, clean and cared for. Some pets also require exercise, so that can be a necessity.

Dena M.

“Dena was amazing! This was our first Rover, and it was an emergency last-minute visit. We came back to find our pup perfectly happy, clean, sleepy, and sweet!”

Crystal M.
“Crystal is by far the best dog caregiver I know! Her love for dogs and all animals supersedes everything else. Not only is her own dog loved and cherished greatly but any other she comes in contact with, including mine, is given undivided love and attention at all times. If only she still lived closer I'd have her over every day keeping Lily company!”

Blake C.
“I have known Blake since he was 16. We grew up together and his love of animals was always a quality I admired. Blake has had pets of his own and has always given them the care and treatment they deserve. I can also attest that he is great with other people's pets, like my boy, Roy. Blake is reliable and punctual and a great communicator. You won't have to worry about him cutting corners with your pets. Blake has watched Roy for extended periods and always kept me in the loop about how he was doing. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing Roy was in great hands.”
