“Lindsey was a great dog walker! We have two high energy dogs and she handled them with patience and care. She was always very responsive and sent good updates after each visit. Would definitely recommend her for pet care needs!”

“We had a great experience with Cadence over the weekend! They did drop-in visits for our dog and took excellent care of him. Communication was awesome, updates were timely, detailed, and included plenty of photos, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!”

About: I have personally owned and cared for dogs of all sizes and am comfortable with handling giant to toy size. I also am experienced with cats, chickens, and water fowl. I am available to let your dog out or play with your pet early morning any day, after 5:30pm any day, and at any time on Monday, Saturday, or Sunday. In my home, I am very diligent about pet care. I have an invisible fence, but my dogs are still closely monitored while outside. This would be the same at your home. I follow instructions to the letter, and will provide any kind of care necessary to you and your pet.
About: I have grown up with many dogs, little and big. From taking them walks, cleaning the poop, and even just snuggles. I have a dog now who is just 4 yrs old. I love training her to do new tricks as she grows. (She can give hugs!) I worked at a Doggy/Cat boarding/Day care and loved spending time with them to build trust. I love helping the dogs and cats meet their needs and care as if they are my own until their own family will again. I am able to work through anytime on the week days. Start at 7am-9pm on the weekends. I can adapt to times and planning, even on short notice (shortest as a day before). I am able to work through handing dogs at your house as you want/need. Even cleaning through cages, vacuum, pick up poop, straight up toys. At the same time, your pet will be loved, fed/hydrated, play through the day, and all needs and/or wants.

About: Our family has 2 very friendly labs, Gabigool 3 y/o and Pepperoni 1 y/o. Their hobbies are running in the yard, playing fetch/tug of war and cuddling. Gabi and Pepper love making friends with other dogs! Our Cat Joni enjoys watching the dogs play from other side of the room and keeps to herself. No dog is too big or too high energy. As long as you love to play and are good with cats you'll love hanging out at Gabi and Pepper's house! "Woof woof woof" - Gabi I am a health care worker who works full-time on the weekends and am home Monday through Friday. I grew up taking care of our family dogs and now I have two of my own I absolutely love them. I am available for walks and play time Monday through friday. Our lab Pepper loves to chew and eat everything around our house so we keep it well kept and puppy proof! We have a large fenced in yard with plenty of toys to keep your dogs entertained. Gabi loves to run our fence and is always excited to invite friends to join her! Pepper is a pro at playing fetch and loves to share her toys. When its a little too cold to be outside we take fetch and tug of war inside. "Bark bark bark"- Pepper

About: I love spending time outdoors and bringing that same energy to the pets I care for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just some fresh-air enrichment, I make sure every visit fits your pet’s needs. I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all temperaments and treat each one like my own. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine since I already have three cats of my own. I also have had dogs all my life. I’m used to keeping a steady schedule for feeding, playtime, and check-ins, so adding drop-in visits fits easily into my day. Flexibility sets me apart from the rest, as I accept same day bookings. I make sure every visit gets my full attention and that pets feel calm and cared for while their owners are away. I always make sure pets are cared for in a calm and safe environment. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions closely to keep routines consistent. I double-check doors, gates, and food portions to ensure everything is secure and every pet feels comfortable and stress-free.
About: I've taken care of pets since I was 5. I have 2 dogs of my own and have prior experience in dog sitting and walking. I also had a cat that sadly passed this year, so I have experience in taking proper care of them too. I love making new furry friends! As I head back to college in the fall, I will be best available Fridays-Sundays. Depending on class work, I can do drop-ins the rest of the week in the evenings. Thank you for understanding!:) I provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. I follow all owner instructions for feeding, fresh water, medications (if applicable), potty breaks, and playtime. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while keeping their environment clean and safe!

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life! With the occasional rabbit or fish. I have two dogs of my own now, Bo-Jack and Moose and my love for animals has only grown! I love helping other people care for their pets (aka their family💜) when they need a helping hand! I have house sit, walked, and cared for both dogs and cats for over 10 years. I am a teacher so I have summers off! I am free almost all day everyday until mid to late August and then I will be free in the evenings and on weekends once school starts! When caring for pets in the clients home I am sure that when I leave it looks like I was never there! (Other than a happier pet of course). I triple check all locks and anything that needs to be cleaned up and/or put away.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and have been caring for them my entire life. I have experience with both large and small dogs as well as cats. I’m currently home from college for the summer and working part time so I have a good amount of time on my hands, especially on Sundays and Mondays. I experience with almost every type of pet care you can think of including things like bathing, crating, playing, walking, feeding, and even giving medication.
About: My boyfriend Cooper & I love to offer your animals love and care for any duration of your time away from them. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. Cooper grew up on his grandpa’s horse farm and always had several dogs in his family. I (Ava) grew up on a 60-horse farm, where caring for animals of all ages and personalities was simply part of everyday life. Together, we’ve built years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, birds, and other animals. We’ve been pet sitting through Rover for over two years and genuinely love getting to know each pet as an individual. Having two dedicated caregivers means your pets receive extra attention, companionship, and flexibility while you’re away. We treat every pet like they’re part of our own family and strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in our care. Between the two of us, we’ve raised puppies, cared for senior dogs, and owned both small and large breeds. We currently have a German Shepherd and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, who stay with my parents whenever we’re dog sitting, as well as Standard Poodles in the family. We’re comfortable with dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or takes a little time to warm up, we’ll meet them where they are and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m self-employed as a horse trainer, which gives us a very flexible schedule and allows us to provide more personalized care than many sitters can. Cooper works as an emergency vehicle technician, so together we’re able to offer dependable, attentive care throughout the week. We know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else. That’s why we’ll stick to their routine, give them plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away. Our goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy, relaxed pet and have complete peace of mind knowing they were treated like one of our own. Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. Ava owns and operates her own horse training business, which provides a flexible schedule and allows us to easily accommodate feedings, walks, potty breaks, medication, and quality time throughout the day. Cooper works as an emergency vehicle technician, so between the two of us, there’s added flexibility and coverage to make sure your pet receives the care and attention they deserve. Whether your pet thrives on an active routine or simply enjoys lots of companionship and cuddles, we’re committed to keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their normal schedule while you’re away. When caring for pets in your home, our goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. We carefully follow your instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, bedtime routines, and any special care your pet may need. Whether they love playing fetch, going on long walks, or just curling up on the couch for company, we’re happy to tailor our care to their personality and routine. We also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean and secure while you’re away. We’ll send regular updates with photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. We want every pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable until you’re back home.
About: Growing up, we always had a family pet that my sister and I cared for. I also have dog-sat my sister's Aussie and Collie now that she has her own pets. Currently, I have a 7-year-old cat named Marvin and a 1-year-old cat named Teddy. I have experience with overnight stays for both dogs and cats for owners who had to go out of town. I previously had a 6-year-old Husky who was Epileptic. So I also have experience with administering medication as well as pet emergencies. I have recently moved back to the area after graduating from college. I typically work evenings, so most days I am free to visit your pets. I do offer petsitting at the clients home and have the ability to be available whenever I am needed. I will be able to stay at your home for as long or as little as you would like.
“Crystal has been our pet sitter for more than a year. She cares for our slightly difficult cat and our freshwater and saltwater fish. She gives our cat lots of kind attention. She observes our cat's health and can medicate her as needed. Crystal gives clear updates with each visit. She arrives for each visit as scheduled and responds quickly to each message. Our pets, our home, and even our plants are in perfect order when we return home. Crystal is an excellent pet sitter!”

“I booked Sarah through Rover to check in on my pets while I was on vacation, and she was amazing! She visited daily, walked Yogi three times a day, and made sure Luna was happy and cared for. I loved getting picture updates, and she contacted me right away with any concerns. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were well cared for, which let me really enjoy my trip. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I grew up with cats and because we were never allowed to have a dog, I would take care of dogs in the neighborhood. I would dog sit, walk them constantly, and would even bathe them. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian. However the thought of having to put an animal to sleep, kept me from fulfilling that lifelong dream. With two Golden Retrievers of my own Duke 7 years old and Enzo 7 months old who I adore more than life itself, and a cat my life is full. Looking forward to adding more fluffy friends to my life, and maybe even adding some excitement to my dogs life by adding new friends. I currently work full-time, but the majority of my days at work are spent working from home, so my schedule is flexible. The more dogs the merrier ! I will do whatever is necessary to provide the best care when someone else’s baby is in my care. I know what I would want for my dog, so I would treat each animal that is in my care the same way I would treat my own dog with lots of love, treats, walks and playtime!
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. small dogs to huge dogs who think they’re lap dogs😂♥️. but that’s alright because i adore dogs and all animals. my mom used to foster dogs when i was little. and i’ve had dogs my whole life growing up. i’ve had a couple dogs with some health issues who needed to take meds everyday. so if ever needed, im experienced with that! im currently not working at all right now, so i have a lot of free time and would be so happy to play and take care of your pups♥️ i will always make sure the doors are shut so the dog(s) don’t get loose. always make sure they have food and water. play with them and always watch them and be careful not to let them run off outside

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 1,148 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Sarver. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sarver. On Rover:
- 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
