About: I’m a lover of animals and have owned dogs my whole life. I’m good with dogs of all sizes but am especially experienced with large/giant breeds. I only work 2-3 days a week and even on the days I do work I have most of the day free. My schedule allows me to be home when most people are working and need their pets to be checked on! When I walk or check in on your pets you can always be guaranteed that I will treat your pets and your home as is they were my own.
About: I’ve taken care of, rehomed and have rehabbed dogs for quite a few years. I’ve taken in special needs dogs, and dogs that have had behavioral problems and have worked with them to reach their full potential. I love watching my family and friends animals and give them all of the comfort and loving they need. Oh, and also all of the snuggles! I believe in being able to read a dogs body language to make sure that they can be as comfortable as can be! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them sniff as much as they want for mental stimulation and to make sure they can be physically fit as much as possible. I’m currently working per diem at a nursing home. I’m looking to take up another job that I absolutely adore to fit into my schedule! I love to have a detailed list of the dogs needs and wants. I’m comfortable with crating animals and giving them positive rewards for good behavior! It’s all about positive reinforcement! I love to make sure your animal is as well taken care of as possible. I’m okay with using a few different tools for walking dogs as well.

She took the time to stop by and visit / meet us and Auggie prior to the day we needed help and was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. On the day we needed her help she checked in with us, was on time, fed, watered and exercised him. Even sent us a bunch of great pictures and videos which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend and will hopefully have her help spend time with Auggie when we need an extra hand in the future.”

About: I have taken care of friends, family, and local community members pets for over 18 years. Horses. Dogs. Chickens. Cats. You name it! I’m happy to make your time away from your pets more relaxed and less stressed. I am self employed and create my own schedule for the most post. About: I was raised on a small family farm, and have cared for goats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and more while a part of that. As a child and teenager, I trained dogs through my local 4-H program, and later on started petsitting for family friends. I've cared for puppies, senior dogs, cats, chickens, cows, pigs, goats, turtles, geese, canaries, ducks, and so many others, and I'm always willing to learn something new! I work full-time, night shifts during the week and mornings on weekends, but I'm typically only gone 8 hours max, so there's still plenty of time for me to provide plenty of care and attention to the pets! I typically stay overnight, and will either crate the pets if needed, or let them sleep with me, I wake up with them and spend my day hanging out with them, playing or just relaxing. I do my best to care for each pet as their owner would, to help minimize stress.

About: I have had dogs and cats, and taken care of other small animals for my family for years. I understand the bond of families with their animals and respect that! I am retired from full time work, but do participate in volunteer activity. A part time role of caring for your pet as needed will best fit my schedule. About: I was a dog runner in NYC for 2 years, I grew up with a hunting dog, I've had multiple Chihuahuas as pets. I also have tended to all my dogs needs, included bathing and nail trimming. I enjoy all dogs company! I am a stay at home parent, so I take my dog out at least 3 times a day. I can accommodate your furry buddies schedule easily throughout the day. We have a trail through the woods to walk around as well. About: Hi! I have always loved animals, and have grown up with dogs and cats all my life! I moved to Collins in 2024 to a property with 30 acres of mostly wooded land with a dog kennel, cat house and barn! The property has a huge area for dogs to run and play. We are working on repairing a huge fenced in area right now, so we would walk around the property on a leash always. I have woods and trails on my property that I love to take walks through. About: Growing up my parents got a dog for every child they had and theirs four of us. Ive been in love with dogs since I could remember my first pup ever!! I did spend a year as a bather at Petsmart best job ever so I have no problem with giving your fur babies a nice wash, I’m not much of a runner but I do take my dog on the bike path and I’ll ride while he runs until he’s tired then we’ll both walk back. I love all animals as if they’re mines I get emotionally attached at first site and love and care for them like they are my forever babies. I do currently work full time but I am very flexible with my hrs and will always be willing to work around your schedule to be with your fur family. I have only trained 2 dogs in my entire life and only got as far as sit right and left paw stay walk and run. I will always have a huge heart for any animal including yours!! Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
