“So happy we found Megan through the Rover app! We have 3 dachshunds that can be quite a handful. These dogs are spoiled rotten and well established members of our family. To say they are high maintenance is understatement! We never had the ability to travel, as the dogs health and welfare always took precedence. We finally took the leap and was able to pre interview Megan on a meet and greet. She showed up exactly on time and met our babies. Needless to say, dachshunds aren't easily impressed. They are fiercely loyal and territorial and a bit snooty. After quelling the initial barking session, Megan sat on the floor and the dogs were instantly attracted to her. We were able to go on our trip feeling our dogs were in good hands and well cared for. Megan fulfilled all her visits and job duties above and beyond what was contracted. Her check ins with us were right on time. She spent extra time on her own playing with the dogs. When we came back, it was amazing to see how well they took to Megan. They didn't want her to leave! Most importantly, our dogs were not stressed because they were able to stay in their own home, tended to by a trustworthy caring individual. Megan YOU ROCK!”

About: In high school I got to volunteer for the local animal shelters and rescues in my area where I got to care for and find forever homes for all the dogs/cats that came into the shelters. While rescuing I got the amazing opportunity to work as a vet tech/kennel attendant for Dowlen Road Vet where my love and knowledge for animals continued to grow. I am currently working a full time job where I work 6 days/nights and have 3 days off where I am available all day. With a little notice I am available to do some early mornings or late afternoon drop ins, walks, or anything your fur baby needs! When watching at your house I will do supervised playtime outside (If fenced) or bring your pet for a walk if you don’t have a fence or it is preferred. I will do anything you request to ensure the perfect care for your baby! I always LOVE when people leave me a detailed note of anything I need to know such as specific feeding times, medications, any requests you have, etc. I will also send you lots of updates, pictures and videos of your baby!

About: I walk them feed them & give the best pet massages. I’m an animal lover! My dog loves to sleep with me every night comfortably. My schedule is very flexible. Your pet would be in the best care and hands. Can’t wait to love on your animal & give them so much love! I have a fenced yard with no holes to escape and a gated door to ensure safety. Whatever service you need I’ll be able to accommodate.

“Sherry did an outstanding job of taking care of our daughter's dog Abby over the long holiday weekend. Our daughter decided to join us just a few days before the trip and we were worried because our usual sitter was already booked. We were very grateful that Sherry was available and accepted our assignment with short notice. As soon as Sherry got there and was greeted at the door, it was apparent that Abby had maneuvered around the "barricade" my husband had created to keep her in a small area of our home. In doing this, she was cut off from her food and water. Sherry immediately called to alert us and the rest of the weekend went off without a hitch. Sherry was very prompt and consistent on keeping with Abby's schedule 3x a day and kept us updated with pictures as well. Being new to the area, we feel very fortunate to find someone reliable and trustworthy to care for our pet when needed. We highly recommend Sherry as a petsitter!”

About: I have taken care of pets every since I can remember! I have always had pets in my life, and I have adored them. I have horses, dogs, cats, and fish. My mom is the one who taught me about pets’ needs, and how to care for them. My greatest joy is saving animals off the street and finding the right forever home for them. I know how much how much you love your pet, so I will treat them as if they were my own. I currently go to school and get off at 1 p.m. each weekday, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your animals. Also, I free on the weekends. About: I have both large and small animal Vet Tech experience working for multiple veterinarians. I have worked at Texas Equine with horses in Brenham, TX as well as multiple small animal vets and shelters. I currently work from home so I am always available to spend time with and care for any animals including my own. I have a huge backyard that I love spending time in over the weekends with my animals. Plenty of room to run around. I feel spending time with animals and using positive reinforcement when training is Beneficial. Building trust is also a huge factor in animal behavior, so more time with them will give them a better understanding of how we behave and what actions we would like them to take.

About: I have over 25 years experience as a bull breed breeder and dog shower. My family bred and showed Chows and Sharpei thru the 80's and 90's, and we bred and raised American Bulldogs until 2017. I also have done many rescues and have extensive knowledge of potty training, and am very well read on dog behavior and socialization. I would love to use my passion for dogs to help you and your family. Dogs and I have a very special understanding. I have cared for packs as large as 17, and as small as one. Every dog I have ever met holds a special place in my heart. I'll treat each dog like it is my very own, in my home or in yours. In my home, I have an old retired American Bulldog mama who is 9 years old. She is 120lbs of sassy mommy! I have two medical needs chihuahuas, and a french bulldog. I own my own pet transport business. We provide ground transportation and in cabin flight services for dogs and cats! I love everything about animals and they are my life! We do a slow introduction to my existing pack of four! Dogs are never left unattended when we have guests. Dogs eat as a pack and go out as a pack.

About: I’m Tawnee, 27 years old, I live in Sour Lake, Texas. I grew up loving many of my own dogs. I currently work full time from home, spend my free time fishing, crafting, or hanging out with my family. I love to run so taking your furry friend to stretch their legs would be more fun to me than it would a chore. There is no dog too big or small for my preference. I will love and care for your dog whether they are always sleepy or always excited. Family and friends have counted on me to take care of their animals since I was 10 years old. I guarantee your pet will be in great hands with me. P.S. I have an iPhone and can manage FaceTime with your pet while you’re away, whenever you’d like. I’m currently working full time 7 AM through 5:30 PM every Monday through Friday. I am available anytime before/after work and certainly available through any weekend. If your pet is dog-friendly and potty trained, I can board at my home. Otherwise, I will gladly travel to and from your home to take care of your pets.

She immediately won over my pets and embraced their chaos - She is also armed and loaded with bite sized treats. Melanie is trustworthy and truly loves animals. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 19. I have 4 doggies at home myself, so I know what I am dealing with! I love it! I am currently a college student at Lamar Institute of Technology going for dental hygiene. I also work part-time as a waitress at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse here in Beaumont. I usually go to the gym as well if I can. Other than that, if I am not at school, I am at work or at home. I have a fenced backyard to where the dogs can run and play around. About: I don’t remember a time growing up where we didn’t have pets. From puppies and dogs, to guinea pigs, ferrets, fish, flying squirrels (before I could remember) I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs! About: Whenever I was in highschool I spent the whole school year at the vets office for a class. I have always loved all animals, and made sure that they were always safe and well cared for. I have also rescued a few reptiles, I have some of my own. Rover is my summer job, most of the time I’m at home, so I’m available a lot. I’m starting college in fall so this money would go towards that. I have a fenced yard, no dogs, but I do have inside cats. When I did have a dog I treated her like a baby and I would do the same for yours.

I am also a professional pet photographer. I am currently working full time at a vet clinic in Lumberton so I can petsit on weekends or on my off days and holidays.
