I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life—currently I share my home (and my couch) with my 7-year-old black Lab. He has asthma, so I do have experience at pet meds and inhalers—nurse, treat dispenser, and belly rub specialist all in one. Your dog will get daily walks (because mine says it’s non-negotiable), plus all the sniffing, playing, and cuddling they can handle. I’ll also send you photo updates so you can see them living their best vacation life while you’re away. Think of me as their second favorite human—right after you, of course! I work from home on Mondays and Fridays and am available most weekends, so your pup will have round the clock care during those hours. Your dog will get daily walks (because mine says it’s non-negotiable), plus all the sniffing, playing, and cuddling they can handle. I have a black lab who has asthma, so I do have experience at pet meds and inhalers. Your dog will get daily walks during their stay with us. I am a helicopter pet parent so I insist on sending you photo updates while you’re away.

About: I was raised in a dog and cat household and loved taking care of them. For the brief time in my adulthood that I did not have a pet, I would dog/cat sit for a various families often. I am fond of elderly dogs/cats and have taken care a few (including giving medications, shots, cooking specific diets, etc). I am also comfortable feeding farm animals such as horses and mules. I work full-time from my home allowing flexible time to play and care for animals. My outings are usually quick errands around town so my pets get a lot of dog mom time! I am available to do longer stays given that I work remote and love making pets feel safe and comfortable whilst their owners are away. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 friendly dogs (lab and border collie mix) to keep your furry loved one company! I also play music often for myself and for the dogs. I find it helps soothe some anxiety for them as well!

About: Hi! My name is Kristen and I come with many years of pet care experience and ownership. I had cats growing up and watched my neighbor’s pugs when they went on vacation. Now I have my own dog, which is the ultimate training for pet care! Additionally, I have experience caring for puppies as a foster parent for the SPCA. I’m currently a first year medical student at Western, where I have a mixed schedule of in-person class, Zoom class and studying at home. While at home, I enjoy study breaks by playing with your pup and taking them on long walks with my own dog. I love taking the dogs on local hikes and adventures around town. I am very active so your dog will come home happy and tired! I have two fenced yards and three dogs living at the house, so your dog will not be lonely! If your pup was to join our pack for the day or an extended stay, they would have full access to the house and yards, along with TONS of dog toys.

About: I’ve always had pets growing up. For a majority of my childhood, I had four dogs (three chihuahuas and a golden labrador) and two birds (a cockatiel and indian ring neck). When I moved out, I brought two dogs and a bird with me and took care of them as they aged. I have spent years volunteering for an animal shelter and I have experience giving medications and taking care of animals in general. I am a first year medical student so scheduling is best on weekends or after 4pm until June. I will be on summer break from early June to August which means I will be free to help out with your pet! Safety and trust are very important to me. I will take every precaution to ensure your pet is as safe as possible. I value communication and will let you know if I have any questions or concerns regarding your animal.
