“Leilani is fantastic!! I appreciate her driving pretty far to come take care of my cat who needs some very sticky medication. She is a pro at giving meds and my cat seemed very happy and content when I got home. I would highly recommend Leilani!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 20 years of hands on experience caring for them. I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every dog like they’re part of my own family and always provide plenty of playtime, cuddles, and updates. I currently don’t work so I am free besides on school days, even then I’m only gone for about 4 hours so I’m never leaving the dogs alone for too long. I have my own 3 dogs at home but if needed they can stay in their crate. I usually keep mine in theirs when I’m gone because they can get a bit mischievous, I also have a play pen in case your fur baby doesn’t like crates but also have an extra one if you’re okay with them being in one.
About: I used to sit for a German family, whether it was date night, or when they left the country to visit their family. They were always so grateful they could trust me. They have moved out of state and I miss it. Let me take care of your furry baby like my own. I work M-Thurs, Friday I work from home, from 8am-5pm. I can do weekends or after work. If its house sitting then I would stay in your home. I will follow instructions on how you want me to take care of your pet, I know pets can get anxious and miss their family. I will try my best to offer comfort and familiarity.
About: Hi my name is Dani and I am 28 years old. I am currently looking to make a little extra money while I finish up grad school to become a physical therapist!! I have an extensive amount of experience working with pets, including dogs, cats, bunnies, goats, etc. In regards to dogs, I am willing to take care of all sizes, breeds and ages. I have watched dogs that ranged from 6lbs to 100+lbs. I am highly active and can wear your pet out if need be! I typically like to stick to a strict routine as far as feeding schedules and daily walks go. On a day to day basis, I take my dog out 2-3 times a day and will gladly do the same for yours! I will love your pet as my own. My two baby boys at home are Sage and Kavik! Kavik is the most handsome 13 year old Husky and Sage is a 1.5 year old black cat (the best cat you’ll ever meet). My babies are my entire world. I consider myself to be very reliable and hope others would say the same. If you are looking for casual day drop ins or an overnight stay I am here for you :) I am currently on break until the end of August! I will be out of town for some of the weekends, but besides that my schedule is open. I have two pets at home and am unable to board. I typically stay at other people's houses and am more than comfortable doing so! I will make sure your pets are well taken care of and given plenty of love (probably too much at times).
About: Growing up in the country, my environment was filled with dogs, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds early on. I have cared for everything from small, high-energy breeds like Chihuahua's to larger, and stronger breeds like Rottweilers and Pit-bulls. This exposure taught me how to adapt to the unique needs of each dog, including their exercise routines, feeding habits, and personality quirks. My ability to connect with dogs of all sizes and temperaments ensures they feel secure and cared for under my supervision. Rounded up I have five years of experience caring for dogs of different temperaments, sizes, and breeds making knowledge, communication, and compassion key skills of mine! These skills have been used to care for all types of dogs, whether it be seniors, new borns, or behavior challenged dogs! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine, my flexible schedule allows me to prioritize the needs of the animals in my care. As a high school graduate, I have the freedom to manage my time efficiently, ensuring I can provide consistent attention and care throughout the day. I schedule feeding times, walks, medications, and potty breaks around my coursework, giving each pet the structure they need while staying on top of my responsibilities. My ability to balance these tasks ensures that pets always feel cared for, even during busy periods. Having free weekends also allows me to dedicate more time to pets, who need consistent attention or engagement. I use this time for exercise, mental stimulation, or grooming, depending on the dogs needs and abilities. My focus on time management ensures that each pet is always prioritized, with plenty of quality time and attention incorporated into their routine. My goal is to provide a calm, nurturing, and healthy environment. I can ensure that pet care will fit seamlessly into my routine, allowing me to meet the needs for every dog I meet! Caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home, revolves around creating a safe, nurturing, and comfortable environment that fosters trust and well being. Safety is my top priority, which includes securing the living space to prevent accidents, removing hazardous items, and ensuring pets have access to fresh water and appropriate food for their dietary needs. I carefully monitor their behavior to identify any signs of distress or illness and address them promptly. For outdoor activities, I use secure leashes or harnesses and supervise them, and monitor them while off leash closely. Building trust with pets is essential to providing effective care. I take time to understand their unique personalities, preferences, and routines. By approaching them gently, respecting their boundaries, and offering positive reinforcement, this creates a sense of security and reliability. Whether it’s maintaining consistency in feeding schedules, potty breaks, and spending quality time/playing, I strive to create a comfortable environment for each dog I meet. I can ensure they feel valued and cared for, the environment I provide is clean, stimulating, and adapted to their specific needs. I offer comfortable resting areas, engaging toys, and plenty of space to explore. If I’m in a client’s home, I respect their established routines and follow their care instructions precisely, maintaining a seamless transition for the pet. Ultimately, my approach combines attentiveness, compassion, and professionalism to ensure every pet thrives under my care.
“Allie took great care of my kittens and made sure they stayed well while we were out. She fed and played with them regularly and provided daily updates. My kittens had a great time with her as well.”

About: My name is Christina and would love to help take care of your dog. I have summer breaks and work earlier in the day. I love dogs and have taken care of dogs and pups for years. In addition, I have my own dogs and I absolutely love them, their names are Elsa (8) and Rubble (6). Both of our dogs are rescues. I love animals and grew up with animals taking care of them and taking long walks. If you are on vacation, I am someone you can rely on and will send pictures or any updates needed during the day. During the year, I do work full time but can walk dogs during the evening. My cellphone is the best way to reach me and ask for availability over the summer (call or text). Please do not hesitate to ask if there is anything you need or have questions about the rates I have provided. During my usual work week I get up pretty early around 5:30am at the latest, and then get out of work at 3:30pm-4:30pm. The weekends I am pretty flexible on times I can come in to help with dog sitting and/or dog walking. Over the summer I have the most time to dedicate to help care for your pup, longer walks, and I can focus more on training. I have a backyard and plenty of treats, leashes, etc. Since I am a dog owner myself I also have an extra crate if needed. In my own home, my pets sleep in our bed and both of our dogs have gone through dog training, so they know basic commands such as sit, down, high five, touch, and leave it just to name a few. I understand that everyone's family is different and I respect that. Any rules you have implemented for your own pups or medication you need given I will help out with that and make sure the dog has the best care. I understand especially with feeding schedules and medication piece because our youngest pup recently went through heartworm treatments (and now heartworm neg thank goodness!). I feel like our dogs are my family members and will make sure they have the best love and care. There is nothing like the unconditional love of a dog!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
