About: Hey pet parents! I’m Kameron—a lifelong animal enthusiast with a soft spot for every creature, big or small. 🐶🐾 I grew up in a house full of animals, and since then, I’ve cared for everything from dogs, cats and guinea pigs (I’ve had five!) to bunnies and even a leopard gecko! I’m currently an intern and volunteer at an animal shelter where I work with the community to promote adoption, be a voice for the voiceless, and champion responsible pet ownership. I’ve also fostered pets and provided personal pet sitting, and I'm the proud pet parent of a very spoiled guinea pig. Animals aren’t just a passion—they’re my purpose. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at home while you’re away. Whether your pet needs a long walk, couch cuddles, or a little TLC, I’m here for it all! I have been a pet sitter and caretaker in my personal life on and off for over 5 years- whether that be family, friends or friends of friends. I started this journey pet sitting on the side, but have made the decision to leap into it more full time! I am currently super flexible on my pet sitting, as I am in between jobs & new to the Charlotte area. I would love to provide any care I can within my availability! I live in a large apartment complex with plenty of area to walk. There is a small dog run on the complex property & walking trails/parks just minutes away. I have a two bedroom apartment, allowing your pet ample space! For more specific questions, please contact me directly- I am more than willing to adjust my lifestyle for what your pet needs! In the past, I have kept other pets separate from my guinea pig- as not all pets get along & to maintain personal space for both animals. I have experience with animals that need a crate, as well as ones that do not! I have cared for pets with a long criteria list, and pets that are just go with the flow. Both are welcome! As a pet parent myself, I would want my animal being cared for to my preferences & want to make sure they feel safe and loved while their parents are away. I do have a guinea pig! Rover does not have a section to add in My Pets section (Dogs & Cats were the only choices). But he will be kept separately!

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life! Before I moved to SC 3 years ago, I spent a few years working for a non-profit animal shelter in Louisiana. My job included cleaning kennels, feeding/watering, medicine administration, socialization, preparation for adoption/freedom rides, and of course lots and lots of pets and cuddles. I currently have 2 large rescue dogs (Cooper-5, Moo-3) and 1 rescue cat (Josephine-1) with my fiancé (Matthew-29). We love to take the animals on daily walks and hikes on long weekends! My purpose in life is to make sure my pets live a better life than me. And they definitely do! I have a very flexible full time job that allows me to be home most of the time. I make sure my dogs get daily walks and my cat’s litter box is cleaned daily! And enrichment activities on days where the weather doesn’t cooperate. My pets are my life. They are always up to date on their vaccinations, kennel trained, and always on a leash when not inside our home/fence. They also get clipped in when we go on truck rides. Moo has had to undergo TPLO surgery on one of her legs so I have plenty of patience for a 8 week recovery for a hyper active dog. Including administering her medication, doing her daily stretches and icing, as well as making sure she got outside time by pushing her in a cart on walks.

About: Ive had pets ever since i was younger including cats, dogs, bunnies, etc I gained experience with animals and how to take care of them. Available Friday-Sunday, but may be available after 4pm on Monday-Thursdays feel free to send me a request & I will get back with you asap! Will take proper care of your pet making sure their fed, walked if needed, and all of their needs. I can walk dogs, and make sure they have play-time.

About: I believe animals are powerful teachers. They resonate more often and most consistently with Unconditional Love and it is truly fun and fulfilling to serve as guardian for their kind! It’s all about energy!! When there is mutual trust, respect and appreciation for each other, beautiful, lasting, mutually beneficial friendships between mankind and beast can be formed. It would be an honor to get to know your pet!! I just quit my day job so the only thing I do now is go to the gym and focus on creating, building and maintaining multiple dreams/goals (streams of income). I typically follow a written process for animal/s with specific medical or emotional needs and triggers. Whatever exercise/feeding schedule is habitual and comfortable for your Familiar is my priority. If the animal/s signals to me that it requires or desires something different, I check with the guardian first.

About: I have had dogs, cats, birds and farm animals since I was a kid. I still enjoy the company of many animals though only having one pet myself now. For two years now I have thoroughly enjoy helping friends, family, and neighbors with their pet needs while they’re away by checking in, feeding them, cleaning after the pets, and playing with them. I also have experience giving cats medicine including insulin shots. I am currently working part time on weekends, only picking extras shifts at the hospital periodically during the week, so I have plenty of time to check-in and take care of your beloved pet. I often times can stop by before or after work as well should it fit your needs. I always start by letting pets warm up to me while offering g a treat or favorite toy for break the ice. I make sure the front door is closed behind me while keeping an eye on pets to ensure they don’t get outside when coming and going. I make sure to leave things tidy as found so that pets do not sneak into food and over eat and get sick.

About: Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 32yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys and a daughter. They are 10 month, 3yr, and a 11yr. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being caring to my two boys. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way! I work from home. So basically I be at home the majority of the day. So I have time on my hands to fit pet care in my schedule! I make sure they are well love as much love I give to my boys and daughter! I also will take them on walks as needed to get the nature outdoors!

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I could remember. My family and I have always loved dogs and cats. They are our family and we love them. I currently work full time from 9am-6pm on Tues -Saturdays. I am available overnight and I’m available overnight and during the day Sundays and Mondays. I live in a pet friendly apartment. My neighborhood has dog parks and cat parks. We also have waste baskets for when taking our fur babies on walks and runs through the neighborhood. My apartment is very spacious, clean, and welcoming to all pets.

About: I’ve been responsible for caring for my families pets since I was 5 years old. My dad taught me how to teach basic commands for our dogs and I’ve educated myself in the health and wellness of my pets since getting my dog, Ruby back in 2018. Dogs mean so much to me and they have a soft spot in my heart. I will dutifully care for your pets and make them feel loved in any way I can!
