About: Hi! My name is Haleigh and I am an animal lover! I have been taking great care of other people's pets for about 10 years now, and I absolutely love doing it. I have had dogs my whole life on top of my experience pet-sitting, so I understand most of their needs and how to take exceptional care of them. I understand that these are not just pets, they are family members, and I always intend to treat them just as that. I have house-sat while taking care of the pets, made drop in visits through out the day, and have walked multiple dogs at once. I am very reliable and attentive. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them with another person; so I always make sure to do frequent updates over text (unless call is preferred). About: As someone who’s herself had every breed from a Golden Retriever, to a Poodle, to a Great Dane- I’m no stranger to big and little dogs! About: Ever since i was a little kid i’ve been around all sorts of animals. Growing up i had multiple cats, dogs, reptiles, and other animals. i have always had a passion for caring for animals, and i have 4 years of experience working at a doggy daycare/boarding facility and dog sitting! i am very well versed in animal behavior and body language, and i am also very experienced in medication administration, including shots, as i have a three year old diabetic kitty who receives shots twice a day! i can guarantee your fur baby will be treated just like family with me :) I am a part time college student currently, so I can be super flexible with scheduling! And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. About: I can’t remember an age where I wasn’t helping birth and raise kittens and puppies, turtles, or rodents. From having blind, toothless senior chihuahuas and senile cats…to a litter of brand new pups or kittens struggling to catch their first breath I’ve been part of it. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
