About: I've taken care of many dogs and even more cats over the last 38 years. I love them and will love yours like my own. Semi retired looking forward to helping people out. I have a very flexible schedule and a very dog friendly home. We have one dog in the home sometimes too because I watch my daughter's dog. We have a big country yard, dogs would be monitored with a leash unless the dog is good at obeying commands. Big yard with walking trails.

I grew up with my parents special needs Yorkie for 6 years! I was in charge of diaper changes, dispensing medication and so much more.

I'm happy to accommodate feeding, playtime, walks, and any other specific requirements your pet may need! Plenty of summer availability! About: I've had pets my whole life and have had kittens, puppies, cats, dogs, and animals outdoors. I have do very well at training dogs I’m not certified.I have 4 dogs now and it’s brings me joy. I do have a spouse home to take care of them so I can take care of yours no worries there. About: I have been taking care of my family's dogs since I was little. They became my responsibility about ten years ago. I also have volunteered to walk the dogs at the CVHS (Cedar Valley Humane Society). I pet-sat for a client when they went on vacation for two weeks. I'm available full time and I'm pretty flexible with the times that are needed. I do not plan on having any at-home services. My apartment does not allow pets or else I would love to watch your pets from my home. I currently work part-time but I'll have plenty of extra time to spend pampering your pet! About: What sets me apart? When your pet is in my care (at my home or your own), I make them my priority from start to finish and treat them like my own. When guest dogs are staying in my home I sleep with them in our spare bedroom (no kenneling at night or during the day unless you request I do so) and if I'm house sitting you can rest assured that I will leave your home and pets as good or better than I found them. I never charge extra for walks, playing fetch, taking them on a car ride, or doing an activity they enjoy. I want your pet to feel like they're on vacation, too :) When I'm house sitting for a client I aim to be there the entire time, and since I work remotely (as long as you have quality wi-fi) I am able to work from your home - this means your pet gets even more time and attention, and if I do have to leave it will only be for a very short period and I will communicate this to you prior. If you do not need/want me there 24/7 we can discuss and adjust price based on what we agree upon during our meet and greet. I aim to be as flexible as possible to meet both your need and your budget... I know this is an investment! I am here because I love the idea of helping other pet-parents know their pets can be taken care of when they are busy or want to enjoy time away with loved ones. I am also here because anyone who knows me knows how much I love animals :) both my own and any animal I meet. I have experience with all sorts of animals and I'm equally as comfortable with both dogs and cats... big and small. I also have experience with tricky behaviors (aggressiveness, food guarding, potty training, learning to walk on a leash, teaching commands, etc.). I can administer medicine, communicate with vet offices effectively, and I am known for providing all of the updates/pictures/videos someone would like while I'm caring for their pet! For awareness, dogs and cats are kept separate in our home. We do this for safety :) There is an underground fence for our dogs and this is an option if your dogs are collar trained. If not, no problem - I am happy to take pets out on a leash. Safety is my top priority, so I will strictly follow the instructions given for your pet(s). When it comes to inside the home, I will closely monitor all play/interactions and if needed, I will separate and/or give primarily 1 on 1 time with your pet if that is what they require. Please note: if you live more than 45 miles from my address I do charge a 1x flat fee of $50.00 while house sitting. Similarly, if you live more than 25 miles from my address I charge a 1x flat fee of $12.00 for dog walking and/or drop-in visits. Thank you for your understanding!

About: I always had a dog in my house growing up, and my dogs became part of the family. I have been dog sitting for five years and continue to love helping people take care of their pets. I currently do not own a dog at my own place, but my parents have two Labrador retrievers that I visit any chance I can get. I am very organized and enjoy working with different types of pets.
