“Chrissy was amazing!! She and her family took such great care of our dogs. She sent photos and made sure they got plenty of play time and was great with communication and very flexible. We will absolutely use her again for dog sitting and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

“I had my 8 mo pup stay with Katie as a trial run before a longer trip, as he has not been around other dogs much and I was worried about the dynamic. I am so glad that I did because he did so well and Katie was so communicative in giving updates. I feel completely comfortable and confident in leaving him with Katie for the longer trip now. Thank you!”

“Thank you so much you’re my best person ever that I found on Rover most people are just one and done for me because I’m very particular about my dog so thank you for the pictures and videos! You’re the best!”

“I was nervous about trying Rover because I had never used this service or left my dog at a person’s house before while on vacation. This was my first experience, Elizabeth was fantastic! You can tell she loves dogs, she sent pictures everyday of Pepe playing with her other dogs. I think Pepe really bonded with Eliza, I didn’t know how he would do, but it couldn’t have gone better…. I will definitely be calling Eliza again. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to watch Pepe:)”

“This was my third attempt to book with her and it finally worked out. I have a senior pup and she was accommodating and wonderful to work with. I would definitely book with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Conner and I am so excited about this opportunity! I don’t have any dogs that live with me but my parents have two dogs of my own, a standard poodle and a West Highland Terrior. I stop by a couple times per week at their house to see how they are doing. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I have housesitted and dog sitted for weeks at a time for friends and family. I have walked dogs, made pickups and drop offs, etc. I am a dependable and responsible individual who wants to keep the pets safe! That’s my main priority. At the end of the day, I want the owner and pet to both have had awesome experiences. I’m hoping that I am able to care for your pet soon! If you would like more information, please reach out! Thank you so so much!
“Sarah was great and my little girl doggy enjoyed playing with her little pups- also , I loved getting a video and a picture as well . I would definitely use her service again and recommend her as well.”
“Jamie did a great job with our Boston Terriers and she kept us up to date frequently. When my ‘finicky’ dog decided not to eat one day, Jamie communicated throughout day with me, we were able to discuss his sensitivities and ways to coax him, and he ate later. I appreciate her care of our puppies.”

“Scout and Fergus were treated to a stay with Lindsay and family during our visit to Cincinnati. We were so very pleased with the treatment and care given our dogs. We will not only use Lindsey again, but consider more visits to the area having confidence that our pets have made new friends. I’ll never forget Lindsay’s 4 year old waving and shouting “I love you” to the dogs as we drove away. Big smiles. Thanks guys. They love you too sweetie.”

“Metrica kept me updated along the way with check ins and photo/video. Lexi was happy when I dropped her off and picked her up. Metrica accommodated my diva little girl perfectly. Would definitely use again.”

“Patrice did an excellent job taking care of my geriatric dog. Although my pet suffers from separation anxiety, Patrice’s handling of her was calming and comforting from the start. After pick up, she did not manifest restlessness, which is often a sign she does not connect with a person. We are thankful for Patrice’s caring touch and will be returning to her in the future. We highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. I’ve also volunteered for dog shelters and watched family and friends pets on multiple occasions. I love puppies and older dogs. Everyone deserves to feel like they can leave their pet with a safe person who will love on their dog. I’m a very active person and take walks daily. My schedule is very flexible which makes it easy to be able to come home during the day and take dogs for walks or just be around at home to hang out. I care for them very much. My apartment has a dog park down the street as well as many grassed areas around to play and go potty. Nothing dangerous or unusual kept in house hold. I live with 3 girls all who have dogs at home and love taking care of them.
“Alej was so sweet to my fur baby. She sent update a pic of Thor for his overnight stay. She really seems to love pets. I would definitely use her services again. Thanks Alej 😀.”
About: I've housesat and taken care of dogs for friends and family members since I was a kid. I've been told I have an energy that animals really respond to. I can no longer have a pet of my own, and I miss my dog every day, I just want to be around dogs again, and help out pet parents. I just opened a bar on my own so it is practically impossible for me to have a dog full time, but my schedule is also flexible enough where I could make sure to give a lot of attention to a dog on a part time basis. I am happy to watch a dog at your home or mine, I have a fenced yard and plenty of parks and trails nearby to walk around.
About: Working as a veterinarian assistant at an animal hospital provided me with the experience and confidence to care for your pet. I've also been a pet owner my entire life, so I understand just how important your furry best friends are to you and your family. If you board your dog in my home, I'm home every day during the week, so I have plenty of time to provide care for your pets individual needs throughout the day. I love all living things and learning about each one. I have a house that's a short distance to Winton Woods and the West Fork Dam with a fenced yard. I only take one pet at a time to ensure the health and safety of your pets and mine. They'll have a couch to lay on and their own access to the fenced yard. Your dog will get a daily walk, playtime, and of course cuddles if they want them! If you have any questions or requests please ask!
“Megan went out of her way to help my very anxious doggie deal with separation. My dog was delivered tired and well played with. It was great to have a napping pup while I unpacked from vacation.”

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
