About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have owned and cared for dogs every step of the way. After saying goodbye to my own beloved dog of 12 years about a year and a half ago, I’m not quite ready for another full-time pet, but I love spending time with dogs and regularly care for friends’ and family’s pups. I also grew up around horses, where I learned responsibility, animal behavior, and basic first aid and medical care. My home is a quiet, one-story ranch with a fully fenced backyard, no other pets, and plenty of space for dogs to relax and play. About: I’ve been dealing with animals literally my whole life. I went to a technical school and I worked at a doggy daycare for 4yrs.Dogs are my passion/therapy. Im trying to save up enough to continue my education. I’m currently working as a part time dog groomer Mondays/Fridays, a little busier after holidays . I’m still available to do check ins every 2-4hrs for potty breaks on those days. My home is very spacious, plus I have a dog park within walking distance. About: Hi! My name is Darius and I truly love being around animals. I don't have any right now, but I've had pets almost my entire life including a yorkie, two pomeranians, three cocker spaniels, a foster kitten, and a German shepherd. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.
