“Summer had a great daycare experience with Jessica. 🤍 She kept me updated with photos, and seeing him looking so relaxed and happy made me feel at ease. It was also nice to know he enjoyed spending time with her dogs.”

“Here for the weekend and wanted our boy to go have fun and meet new friends. Megan took great care of our boy, giving him treats, cuddle time on the couch watching tv, and was a perfect overall experience couldn't be happier! Will be back in Jacksonville on more work outings and will definitely bring him back!”

“Thanos had a great time at doggy daycare with Joseph and Reanaleena! He has a ton of energy and was happy and exhausted when I picked him up. Will definitely book again!”

“Carole is overall a wonderful person. Loved interacting with her and she was also great with our puppy. My puppy is not an angel all the time since she is still learning, but Carole had great patience and understanding with her. Played with her plenty of time that she came home exhausted and slept past her dinner time. I highly recommend her if you had any doubts and your cherished baby will be in great hands.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I have spent most of my life caring for pets. I currently own one dog named Mackey. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and give them the attention they need. Please Note: I do not accept pets that are not crate trained and potty trained. I work from home so my schedule is flexible and I can use that opportunity to provide plenty of walks and breaks as needed for your pet. Our normal walks occur twice a day in the morning and in the evening with intermittent outside breaks throughout the day. My current dog is indoors. All pets staying at my home will be indoors with A/C and access to plenty of water, food and toys.
“My pup, bandit, had a great time. I scheduled a day care for Tuesday and Thursday. On Thursday, as soon as I pulled into the drive way, Bandit got really excited. Jerome sent pictures both days and updates, he even fed him dinner which wasn’t necessary since I plan on feeding him when he got him but it was super kind of him!! Bandit is a high energy dog and when he got home all he did was sleep which is great! I would definitely recommend Jerome and I would use him again. He was very nice and accommodating, treating my dog as his own :)”

“Java started to trust Kenneth after 2 daycare visits, which is very rare. It means Kenneth did a lot of work with him. I feel very confident leaving Java with him, and I can focus on my work . Thank you 🙏🏽”

“Savannah takes such great care of our dog he actually cries when he has to leave! He bolts out of the car and loves being with her. She takes wonderful care of him, he's a very happy pup!!”

“This was my second time with her! As always, she was attentive and caring. Strangely my fur baby eats well with her despite him being a picky eater. It feels really secured to have a day care where I can trust with confidence. Will continue to use her service going forward!”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our 11 week old puppy. She sent plenty of pictures, frequent updates and responded quickly when we asked a question. Will be reaching out to her again if we need a sitter.”

“Kaitland is so amazing. She’s responsive, so gentle, and her communications is always on point. We baby our 10-year old frenchie, and Kailand and her daughters are the most amazing and trusted pals we could have had asked for. 10/10 - would definitely book again”

About: What makes me different from other sitters is the genuine love and care I have for animals. I’ve had pets my entire life, from cats to dogs, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve also rescued several lost animals and helped reunite them with their owners, which shows how deeply I care about their safety and well-being. I understand that every pet has their own personality, needs, and comfort level, and I always do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for like family. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I’m home all day and have the time and flexibility to give pets the care and attention they deserve. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of love throughout the day. Since I’m home often, pets will have plenty of supervision and won’t be left alone for long periods. When you book with me, you can expect a safe, caring, and comfortable environment where your pet will be treated like family. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Since I’m home all day, pets will have plenty of supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. I make sure they have regular potty breaks, playtime, fresh water, feeding on their normal schedule, and a calm environment where they can relax. I also understand that every pet is different, so I do my best to follow each owner’s instructions and keep their routine as close to normal as possible. My goal is to make your pet feel at home and cared for like family while you’re away.
About: My husband and I are empty nesters with 3 Husky fur babies. After our kids grew up and moved out, we decided to become parents to these 3 great Husky fur babies. We will open our homes and our hearts to your fur babies when you need us. My husband is retired and home all day to care for them. His favorite hobby is making home-made dog treats! I still work full time, but I am home spoiling our babies when I'm not at work. Our dogs get along very well with other dogs. We believe in lots of treats, loves, play, and petting! We will give your dog all the love you would in your absence! I currently work full time and my husband is retired and at home all day caring for our dogs. Because of our schedule, we have a lot of time to devote to your fur baby or babies! We have a fenced back yard where my dogs safely run and play. We also have a safe neighborhood with sidewalks that we can walk the dogs. Our dogs have a room where they stay if we leave the house. Their room has couches, a television, and windows for them to watch outside. If you prefer, we can also crate your dog at appropriate times as well.
“Kristall was so kind to take our 10 week old pup after a very last minute request. Our pup joined us only 4 days before we realized we needed a sitter for about 5 hours. And I forgot to make a request until the night before. Kristall was friendly, sweet, and immediately good with our pup. She obviously loves dogs. When we picked up our pup, he was happy and looking good. He enjoyed the yard and the love. Kristall was flexible with our a bit uncertain return time, too. I recommend Kristall highly and plan to request her again.”

About: I specialize in caring for tiny dogs weighing 15 pounds and under. As a tiny-dog owner, I understand that little dogs have different needs. I pay close attention to secure harnesses, hot pavement, larger neighborhood dogs, escape risks, senior mobility, and each dog’s individual comfort level. I offer private walks and drop-in visits tailored to your dog’s age, energy level, and routine. I do not walk large groups of unfamiliar dogs together. Your dog gets calm, personal attention. For drop-in visits, I can provide potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and routine care based on your instructions. I welcome meet-and-greets so I can learn your dog’s personality, habits, fears, favorite things, and normal routine before care begins. I serve tiny-dog families in Sanderson, Glen St. Mary, Macclenny, and nearby areas of Baker County. Pick up and drop off available for a nominal fee. Little dogs. Personal care. Peace of mind. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable, unhurried care for your tiny dog. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, and scheduled pet care throughout the week. Because I keep my client list intentionally small, I can give each dog plenty of individual attention and follow the routine that makes them feel most comfortable. Safety is especially important with tiny dogs. I pay close attention to secure harnesses, gates, doors, hot pavement, larger dogs, and other risks that can be more serious for a small dog. I follow your feeding, medication, walking, and household instructions carefully and never force interaction with unfamiliar dogs. My goal is calm, secure, individualized care that helps both you and your dog feel comfortable.

As of August 2026, there are 330 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Saint George. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Saint George commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
