About: I have been taking care of animals since I was really young! I had lots of different pets growing up, so I have experience with all types of animals. I have done pet sitting before, by myself and helping my sisters. I am currently on summer break before I go to college at the end of September, so I have lots of free time to take care of pets! I have lots of free time to check on the pets and stay in the house, whatever is needed! I love going on walks, so I have no problems taking your pets for walks or being outside with them!

“My dog, Declan is so much happier when I come home now that he gets a walk while I'm gone. Kenzie is so good with him and he is always so excited when Kenzie comes in. Kenzie sends regular updates and pictures of how my pup is doing and is very responsive. Highly recommend Kenzie if you need a wonderful dog walker!”

About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I am just getting back into to Rover after welcoming two beautiful kids into the world. I’ve always loved dogs and animals. They are like built in friends always there and just wanting unconditional love. We have had pets for as long as I can remember. We had small dogs growing up and now we have two fur babies of our own, a German Shepard and a terrier mix, who has no sense of personal space. Over all I’ve had experience with all sizes of dogs between owning them watching them in high school and college. Being that now I’m a mom to a toddler and baby I will bring them with me. So if that’s not something you’d be okay with I totally get it but I’m not the best fit for watching your fur babies. The baby will stay in his carrier for the most part and the toddler will want to play fetch with your dogs lol. I think she likes dogs more then me most days 😂 Our life’s revolve around our kids and dogs lol. I make sure our pup don’t stay shut in for to long for a long period of time. When we get home we either go on a walk or play for a while to burn off all of their built up energy and excitement. Our pups go everywhere with us from hiking, to camping, to going for a ride to get a pup cup. While I take care of your fur babies my toddler and I will just play with them and give them all of the attention while watching/ walking them, taking them outside, and feeding them.

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals, from horses to turtles, I love learning about new critters! My jobs have all been centered around animals, including as a vet assistant where my responsibilities covered birth to end of life care of our patients. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, and I know how important it is to get medications on time. I personally love quirky animals, or shy ones who need a quiet, confident person that they can trust to take good care of them (and their owners will too!) I am currently working part time on my own schedule, and I would be able to care for your animal in the morning, noon, and at night. I am not able to bring your animal to my home, but I will ensure that your home is clean when you return, and that your animal will be loved and cared for while you are away!

About: I’m in the military and very aware of how difficult it can be to find a pet sitter on short notice. I have 4+ years of a Veterinary background and experience with many breeds and types of animals. If you book with me, you will likely meet my boyfriend Zach, as he lives with me. We are both very active and love to walk and run with dogs! Looking forward to meeting new dogs and helping someone out! I have a very flexible schedule. I can work with you to find the best schedule for your pet and can be available often for potty breaks. I have a fenced in yard and have access to a dog crate if needed. I live on a dead end street so it is a very safe neighborhood.

About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

“Absolutely amazing!! Karen took such good care of our dog Guinness. She went above and checked in on him extra when it was hot, took him out for very long walk/runs, and made a little report card of him with lots of pictures!! We can't thank her enough! ❤️”

“I have a fur ball of energy of husky! that runs a lot and alisha handled him professionally! she takes care of my puppy like her own! highly recommend dog walker in the area! thank you for loving my dog 🥰”

About: I have owned and been around a lot of dogs in my life. They truly are a man’s (or women’s) best friend. I love being around them! I have a very flexible schedule so I can drop in on most days at most times during the week to care for any doggo. I love to play with dogs inside or out. Prefer to get them outside and moving so they can take in the world and sniff all things!

About: With over 10 years of experience caring for pets, I’ve been someone that my friends, family, and roommates can call when they need someone reliable to look after their animals. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all types like young, old, high energy, low maintenance, anxious, and affectionate. I’m comfortable handling everything from the basics like feeding, walks, and playtime to more involved care like medication, crate training, and senior routines. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals they tend to trust me quickly, and I take that seriously. I approach each pet with patience, respect, and a steady presence. Whether your dog needs a running buddy or your older cat just wants a quiet companion while you’re away, I’ll meet them where they’re at. I understand how important it is to keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress free. I treat every animal like they’re my own with attention, care, and a commitment to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. As a Social Work student at Evergreen State College, I take online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule to focus on caring for pets. Outside of class, I dedicate my time to walking dogs, house sitting, and caring for pets while their families are away. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and it fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m reliable, communicative, and available throughout the day for check-ins, playtime, walks, and overnight stays. When im taking care of your pet, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely to keep routines consistent, whether that means specific feeding times, crate use, medications, or special accommodations. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and mindful of your pet’s boundaries.

About: I’ve house + pet sat for neighbors and friends from a young age but picked up more consistent work around 7 years ago when I first started college. There’s just nothing better than hanging out with new pets! I have a lot of experience working with reactive dogs like my boy at home, or with cats who are shy/can be aggressive. Going on walks with dogs, keeping a watchful eye for other creatures and people is a piece of cake. I have also grown up taking care of my two budgies and countless stray cats through my childhood and the trust that I seem to build with animals of all temperaments comes quickly and naturally. I’ll always give them a loving cuddle or extra space as needed. I’m a lover of all pets at all stages in life ❤️ I work full time from home, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I love taking my laptop over to work while pet sitting and house sitting, and for drop-ins/walks I can easily take my lunch or go on a break whenever needed to get the lovely creatures taken care of. I’d be thrilled to come stay for overnight visits with your pets! 🌙 At home, my dog is reactive with other creatures so I can’t bring your babies into my home but I’ll bring myself to them in the comfort of theirs 🏡 🐕 Message me anytime and we can talk about the details!

About: I have 6 years experience of house/pet sitting(from another website)where I have cared for a variety of animals ranging from fish, dogs, cats, goats, a donkey, a llama and chickens. I am comfortable and confident with almost all domestic animals. I am a retired Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience in various fields of medicine. I now have time to enjoy life and other things. My nursing experience has made me highly observant, attentive to the smallest details, and exceedingly reliable. While I am calm and easygoing I am also excellent in emergencies and difficult situations. I love dogs and cats but do not have any of my own due to my gypsy like lifestyle. I have traveled a fair bit in my life having a curious mind and a zest for learning and experiencing new things. I am very, very neat and clean.....so your home will be just as you left it!

“Emilie is a phenomenal pet sitter! She treats your animal as though they were her own. I’ve used her for both dog and horse care and would never use anyone else if I could help it! I have an English bulldog who is not an “every person” dog, making it extra stressful when I go away and need to leave her with someone. Emilie takes away all that stress. She has years of experience caring for animals of all different shapes and sizes, and is excellent at reading their needs. She is thoughtful and caring, a great communicator, and can also handle any special needs your pet may require. Your pet will be in fantastic hands!”

Mackenzie K.
“Mackenzie is someone I highly recommend to be a dog sitter. Mackenzie has a bunch of experience with dogs, as she has had a dog her entire life and has worked in a Vet as a technician. Mackenzie enjoys being around dogs and would show the dog tender loving care, just like their parents would. Mackenzie also has experience with dog sitting as she use to do it as a side hustle when she worked at a Vet. Mackenzie is highly dependable and I would let her sit my dog anytime.”

Saint Clair dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ramona is amazing! She is very communicative with me, patient with my high-energy dog, and a genuinely kind person to interact with. I am very protective of my pup, like many dog owners, so I was nervous finding another person to walk him. Ramona has put my mind at ease through her clear commitment to her own dogs and updates throughout the day about how mine is doing. I’d give her more stars if I could and would certainly recommend her to any who are anxious about leaving their fur babies.

Cassandra is amazing . I feel like I've had to go through several to find the perfect one . She is quick to respond , attentive , kind and very detailed . I received several picture along the walk, she encouraged the dogs to go the perfect distance and provided a lot of feedback . I felt like I had been in the walk with them. My dogs aren't responsive immediately to most , however she made them feel safe on the first meet . I would recommend her , her rates are spot on and she's in time and communicative - it's hard who to trust our babies with - you can trust her.
