About: I’m a true animal lover. If it has paws, scales, fins, or whiskers, I’m already invested. I’ve cared for and fostered all kinds of pets over the years—dogs, cats, aquatic babies, reptiles, and the tiniest furry friends like bunnies and hamsters—so I’m comfortable across the board. To me, pets aren’t “just pets”…they’re family. My approach is calm, patient, and gentle. I pay close attention to each animal’s personality and respect their boundaries so they always feel safe, understood, and comfortable. At home, I’ve got my own little zoo—2 sweet cats, a bearded dragon, 2 geckos, 4 snakes, and an adorable mouse—so trust me, I’m no stranger to unique personalities and specialized care. I would love to care for your pet when you need a break, go on vacation or when you make other plans. You can be assured that your pet is in good hands. To offer the best care, my max capacity is currently 2 pets per day. 📍 Located in Milwaukee – Capitol Heights area 🌻 I work from home so I’ll always have time to play, feed and love on your pet babies. I’m always flexible with their needs (bathroom breaks, medication, shyness) to make sure they are always comfortable. If my schedule or availability changes, I always send out updates to my calendar right away. ❤️ To offer the best care, my max capacity is currently 2 pets per day. I have a fenced in back yard with plenty of space for pets to roam, play and toilet if needed. Pets are always welcome to bring their own items. My 2 lovely cats are usually shy and more of the watching type, so they won’t bother your pets but will surely admire them from their cat trees. All activities and toileting are supervised. There is no smoking of any kind in my home or pet areas. There are some pictures of our living space in the photo collection on my Rover profile.

“I could not recommend Mike and his wife Heather more! My dog has been consistently going going there for a year and as a young doctor working up to 28 hours in a row, I would not be able to have managed without them! They are very flexible and truly do love working with dogs. Recently, my dog got very mambas colitis and needed to go to the vet twice. Initially I wasn’t able to take too much time off but thankfully Mike was there. He offered to even cook Whiskey boiled chicken and rice and even offered to come to the vet with us the second time because he was genuinely concerned as well. I have a very anxious dog, but have been able to leave him while on vacation and not worry because I was getting constant updates- both good and bad about how he was doing, how much he was barking, how he was pooping, etc. it helped me enjoy my vacation more. I would highly recommend them for anyone who has a dog that is anxious and needs more one on one attention or with a chaotic schedule like myself.”

About: I have been the go-to pet sitter for my large family & friends for years and just decided to see if anyone else would need the service. I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. I like hanging out with the pets like little buddies, getting some days of cuddles and then sending them home 😅. It’s the perfect way to get some fur baby time until I’m ready for my next dog or cat in the future. This is not a business for me, it’s something I have enjoyed doing for my family and friends, and if you want your beloved pet to be in a calm but fun, comfortable environment while you’re away, I can extend my service to you. I recently started doing home stays/drop ins for the pet sitting too and enjoyed it. I currently have a really flexible schedule with a lot of availability. I live with my dad that occasionally says hi if the dog or cat is friendly but mostly the house is big enough that they never cross paths. I have a fenced in yard and a big house with a lot of space that I can also section off by closing doors. I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I like when pet owners bring a bed for their pets so I can make them their own space but they’re welcome to chill with me in whatever I’m doing. I’m youthful, active, and responsible. I have a naturally friendly, calm demeanor that animals and people respond well to. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting cuz it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.

I offer flexible scheduling for pet boarding thanks to my role with a property management company, which allows me to be home often and adjust my availability as needed. This flexibility helps me give your pet plenty of attention, supervision, and consistent care throughout their stay. For everyone’s safety and comfort, we kindly require all pets to have their own crate during their stay. Crates provide a secure, familiar space for your dog to rest and relax, especially during downtime or when we briefly step out. Their safety and well-being are always our top priority. Also provide your pet with their favorite food/treats for their stay. We are also able to provide that for an additional fee.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2026, giving our Adventure Day and boarding guests even more room to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely. Amelie runs WeFriends K9 full-time, providing professional pet care, behavior-focused training, and rehabilitation services. Her greatest success story is her own rescue dog, who was saved just before being euthanized because of behavioral issues. Through patience, structure, training, and trust, he has transformed into a confident, balanced companion. His journey continues to inspire Amelie's passion for helping dogs reach their full potential. Amelie and her husband, Stephen, have been providing pet care through Rover since 2022, while also working with clients independently. Together, we have years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities, including many rescue animals. We truly believe that every animal deserves the same balance, happiness, love, joy, and harmony in life that we all strive for. That philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, whether it's an adventure day, pack walk, daycare, boarding, house sitting at your home, training, or simply spending quality time with each pet in our care. Each outing includes: - A few pack walks during the time together - Socialization and decompression time - 3 to 4 hours total including travel and transitions We rotate locations (parks, pet-friendly cafe/store etc.) to provide mental enrichment and new experiences. 🐾 Individual Walk (listed on R o v e r) $30 per 30 mins: We can provide a one-on-one walk or include your dog in a pack walk, depending on time, your preference and what's best for your dog. 🏡 Daycare $75 per day Not your typical daycare! Think of it as a fun day with a purpose—an extended version of our Adventure Day that combines exercise, enrichment, socialization, and training. Our Daycare includes pack walks, structured rest time, enrichment activities, basic training, and supervised social play. After their Adventure Excursion/Pack Walk, dogs spend the afternoon with us enjoying a calm, relaxing environment where they can rest, settle, and continue practicing appropriate behaviors. This balanced routine helps dogs learn not only how to have fun, but also how to switch off and relax after physical and mental activity. This service includes both pick-up and drop-off if you're located along our Adventure Day route. Pick-up and drop-off times may vary depending on the day's schedule, travel route, and the other dogs joining the pack. 🌙 Boarding at Our Home $90 per night ($50 per night for an additional dog) Your dog becomes part of our structured&well-designed home pack. Includes: - Daily pack walks & outings - Calm rest and downtime - Socialization & Enrichment - Structured feeding & routine - Supervised home environment We balance exercise, mental stimulation, and rest based on each dog’s needs. At this time, we prefer boarding dogs who are already part of our Adventure Day, Pack Walk, or Daycare program. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each dog, understand their personality, routine, and individual needs before they stay overnight in our home. If you're interested in boarding with us, we encourage your dog to join an Adventure Day, Pack Walk, or Daycare session before your trip. This helps make the overnight stay much more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Our preference is for dogs that are crate trained. However, we're happy to discuss your dog's individual needs during the Meet & Greet. For example, if your dog is reliable sleeping on their own bed in a designated area throughout the night, we're absolutely open to that as well. Our goal is to create a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every dog staying with us. 🐾💕 **Adventure Days / Pack Walks are typically held on **Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays** and last about 3–4 hours (occasionally on Mondays or Fridays as well). Please note if we're staying overnight in your home (House Sitting), we'll be away for approximately **4–6 hours** during the day while leading our Adventure Day pack. If your dog is friendly and enjoys being around other dogs, they're welcome to join the Adventure Day with no extra charge! It's a great opportunity for structured exercise, socialization, confidence building, and learning alongside a balanced pack. For **House sitting at your home**, we do our best to adapt our schedule to your pet's normal routine. We'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, potty breaks, bedtime, and any special care your pet may need, so they can stay comfortable in their own home. We have a background in dog psychology and training, which helps us understand canine communication, structure routines, and support each dog’s emotional and physical well-being. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, fun and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and understood. Many pet parents also notice positive changes in their dog’s behavior at home We normally approach animals with calm energy to make them feel safe, secure, relaxed and not feeling too excited, especially the first impression when it comes to Meet & Greet. About: I will do any service needed. I grew up having pets and pet sitting for others when I was in guam. I care for animals like they are my children because to me they are children just with 4 legs :). I’m very flexible and willing to work around your schedule and needs. Pets will be well taken care of and will make sure when they get back to you that they will be the same or better ! Also if you’re going off island and need them to stay somewhere I will also offer that service because I know how it feels to leave for work or vacation but you have no one to watch your pet. I also took care of sick pets and know how to properly give medicine. Book them with me and you won’t be disappointed.

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.

I have owned three for many years, raising two from being puppies, and addressing challenging behavior with an older doggo, in addition to fostering multiple rescue dogs. I recently moved to WI and figured I’d give my fur baby some friends to hang with. I am happy to work with you on what’s best, whether that is house sitting, boarding, or simply letting your animals out on walks or to go potty. Let’s chat! I currently work from home and have a remote job, so can provide your dog with any needs or attention that makes sense based on their schedule. I have some in-person meetings that occur throughout the week, and am generally around on the weekends regularly. If planning on boarding or daycare, I now live in a home with a nice backyard. I can easily crate, take out for potty breaks, etc. I am also mindful of dog reactivity regardless of my own or neighbor’s dogs.
