“Maria did a great job walking my dogs. She quickly developed a nice rapport with them, and I know Lucky loved his longer walks to the park, and Harley her short walks.”

About: Hello! I've had a deep love of dogs my entire life and was fortunate enough to have had two beautiful dogs over the past 25 years. I love to walk, play and lightly train dogs while they're in my care. I'm also developing healthy dog treats that I share with all the neighbor's dogs for their input (they love them!). I currently volunteer at PAWS NY, which helps humans & dogs, providing walks for the elderly or people that are disabled. I look forward to caring for your dog as my own. They are angels and deserve the best care! I am available to walk or sit dogs 7 days a week! I was recently job-eliminated, working for the past 35+ years in the publishing field, so now my main focus is on dogs, finally! I currently live in an apartment on the 2nd floor which is easily accessible to the outdoors. I also have access to a small fenced in yard in my 3-family home and access to a larger, unfenced yard next door, where my daughter lives. I love to walk and can walk for mile to the nearest large park in Whitestone or Bayside.

“Amanda is such a great dog walker! Not only is she dependable, but she is kind and patient. My dog was skeptical and did not want to walk with Amanda at first. Instead of giving up, Amanda took the time to play and have my dog get comfortable with her. Now my dog gets super excited any time Amanda is here for their walk. She’s really great and such a sweet person!”

“Shang is super responsive, friendly, responsible, and reliable. I needed a walker last minute when my regular ones weren’t available and he really helped me out!! Will definitely use him again!”

“Ari has been great with my pup. During the meet and greet, he asked great questions and played with Nala which made me feel more comfortable. I will definitely continue to use his services and Nala seems to like him too!”

About: ***LOCATED IN BAYSIDE,QUEENS*** Hi there! I love all fur babies and welcome them with open arms. I’m a firm believer that while small moments with our pets may seem minuscule to us, they are everything to them— so let’s make it count! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and recently lost my rescue pup to cancer. Due to her long treatment regimen, I feel comfortable administering oral medications. She was a jack russell mixed with a dachshund so you know training was a handful! She suffered from some separation anxiety that we trained through so I have experience with this challenge (pandemic puppies am I right?) But we still had the best time. We explored parks, she sniffed the fun smells of NY, we snuggled on the couch and played fetch every evening. Whatever your pet is into, I’m up for! I work remotely in a dog-friendly building. My job is very flexible when it comes to hours so I can do my best to accommodate nearly every reasonable scenario depending on my meeting times for that given day. However, please no bookings after 7:30pm. In terms of supplies, I do ask pawrents to please bring any necessary food, crates, toys, meds, blankets, etc. I prefer to not cross-contaminate supplies for the health and safety of all pets. All feeding times/walking schedules will be up to the discretion of the pawrent— you know your pet best! I also have pee-pads available for those puppers who are not yet fully potty trained. Lastly, my home layout is quite pet friendly. I keep bedroom and bathroom doors closed since they are out of my line of sight when I work and the kitchen/living room is an open concept. For smaller pets, I can gate away a certain area if pawrents prefer.

“Eugene was so good with our puppy and made us feel comfortable. He is trustworthy and reliable. He followed all of our instructions and was punctual. Highly recommend and will definitely be reaching out to him again!”

“Great experience with Jonathan walking and dropping in on my Shiba Inu for the weekend while I was away. He is very reliable and responsive and always sent pictures of my dog, which gave me peace of mind. I will definitely be using Jonathan’s services in the future!”

Saddle Rock dog parents share their Rover experiences
I highly recommend Jeff as a dog sitter. He recently took care of my dog, and I was very impressed with his patience and kindness. My dog can be a bit challenging, especially around other dogs, but Jeff managed her calmly and confidently. From the start, Jeff took the time to understand my dog’s needs and followed every instruction I provided. He sent regular updates and photos, which reassured me that my dog was in good hands. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the animals he looks after. If you’re looking for a sitter who is reliable and truly cares about your pet’s well-being, Jeff is the perfect choice. My dog came back home relaxed and happy, which says a lot about the care she received. I would definitely trust Jeff again for future pet sitting needs.
