I’m energetic, reliable, and happy to give medications or extra care so your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I am employed by Humane Society Walton County but my schedule is flexible! I service Monroe, Social Circle, Madison and Covington! Saturdays I'm at HSWC all day so there is unlikely availability on Saturdays. I only accept jobs in clients home, I abide by what the client instructs and respect their privacy and property. I will not accept aggressive dogs. I currently cannot offer boarding in my home until after summer 2026.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals of all kinds and my genuine passion for caring for them. I’ve cared for everything from farm animals to small dogs and cats, which has helped me become comfortable with pets of different sizes, personalities, and needs. I have also been volunteering at animal shelters since I was 12 years old, giving me hands-on experience working with animals that may be shy, energetic, anxious, or in need of extra patience and attention. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I am currently home from college and have a very flexible schedule. I am available most weekdays and weekends, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, walks, playtime, and consistent care throughout the day. I do have a few weeks during the summer when my availability is limited, but aside from that, I am generally wide open and able to accommodate a variety of schedules and pet care needs. In clients’ homes, I respect the pet’s established routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce anxiety while their owner is away. I keep the home secure, clean up after pets, send regular updates with photos if requested, and communicate promptly about any concerns or changes in behavior. Safety, trust, and the pet’s wellbeing are always my top priorities.
“Shelby is awesome! She came through without a hitch when we found ourselves in a bind with our 4 cats as we were planning to go on vacation. She was close by and super sweet and even sent pictures. We would love to have her come take care of all our babies in the future.”

About: I have my own dachshund that I take care of on a daily basis but also have 3 other family dogs tha range from a dachshund to a german shepherd. I’ve always helped taken care of the family dogs growing up. I work 3 times a week and have school but my schedule is very flexible and I can adjust it around based on what I have going on. Any pet in my home that’s not mine would be treated like my own pets. They would be taken care of all the time. The same would apply in someone else’s home. I would follow a schedule feeding and letting the pets out just like I do with my own.

“Christi did a very good job. I also like the fact that she lives in the area. Niko seemed to really like her and my home was immaculate when I came back Niko was very happy to see me, but it was good to know someone was taking good care of him. I will use Christi again.”

About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years, including dogs and cats. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re on vacation, and I’ll give them plenty of attention, affection, and care until you return. I am currently a college kid home for the summer. With that being said I have a completely open schedule right now until I head back in the fall! I care for every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they stay on their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also provide plenty of attention, affection, and exercise based on each pet’s individual needs and personality. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions to help pets feel comfortable and stress-free while their family is away. I always send updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
