“Omg!! Margaret was heaven sent! Our cousin didn’t answer his door to get our pup just 4 1/2 short hours before our flight boarded out of Stl. I ran to Rover and begged for a last minute board. Margaret graciously accepted Teddy into her home and took such good care of him. She was very communicative and kept me informed of how he was doing over this 3 day stay. Our flights were delayed by over 12 hours she was very flexible and allowed him to stay an extra day with no problem. If you are seeking a communicative, kind, nurturing and flexible board, I 10/10 recommend her!”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs through my professional work in veterinary care. I’ve cared for and handled dogs with a wide range of personalities, sizes, ages, and needs, including providing daily care, exercise, and following individualized routines. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who need extra attention, patience, or close monitoring. I’m reliable, attentive to detail, and quick to notice changes in a pet’s behavior or wellbeing. Most importantly, I treat every dog with patience, compassion, and the same level of care I would want for my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 7 AM–4 PM, but I’m available before and after work, as well as during my lunch break, for pet visits and care. I’m available from 5–7 AM, 11 AM–1 PM, and 4–8 PM during the week. My weekends are completely open, so I have plenty of flexibility for longer visits, walks, drop-ins, and extended stays. I also have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is already an important part of my everyday life! I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine. In a client’s home, I follow their feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely while making sure their pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and preferences. My professional animal-care experience has also taught me to be very attentive to changes in behavior or wellbeing. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect for my own.
