“Really loved how well they took care of my pup! She seemed super happy when she got back. I was pleased with the pictures they show and they show you the facilities. I felt totally comfortable leaving my old girl with them.”

“Ximena was fantastic with Jelly. He’s a reactive walker with fireworks anxiety and some quirks we’re always upfront about, and she handled all of it with patience and confidence. She followed his routine closely, kept him comfortable, and clearly has real experience with dogs who need a little extra attention. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, which says everything. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who actually pays attention to the details.”

“Elizabeth took excellent care of our fur-baby, Sully. We got updates and pictures of her playing pretty regularly. Sully seemed to enjoy the vacation almost as much as we did. Thank you Elizabeth! ??”

“Lisa and her husband took care of our little girl for about 10 days. It’s always nerve racking leaving your baby with new people for that long. They were amazing!!! They would send pics/videos and text updates often but not too much. Dolce was well cared for and would absolutely use them again.”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs as pets. As an adult, I have had a dog. Whenever my family members are out of town, I am the dog aunt that gets to keep them! My kids also enjoy being around and caring for animals. I work full time during the week. I am not able to run home during the day to let them out. I am normally around on weekends. I have my kids Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other weekend. I have a big back yard (unfenced) and a great neighborhood for walks! I enjoy being outdoors and usually am with my kids, weather permitting.
About: Hello I have many years of experience with pet sitting but I’ve had animals my whole life I’ve taken care of anything from dogs to spiders to snapping turtles I love all animals I’ll treat them like my own I'm 25 years old I have doctors appointments but if they interfere with the schedule we can rearrange something this is what I do for a living I will be coming to your house unless your ok with me and the furbaby playing/chilling in my room because I have one dog who can get grumpy around other animals the other one loves all animals (they are both small dogs)

About: I think that life is about being happy and animals of all shapes and sizes make me happy! I have had multiple pets all of my life, from bearded dragons and snails to cats and dogs but now I have settled with my older toy rat terrier pup and my fat orange cat! I was able to achieve my pet first aid certification through the American Red Cross but it since expired (they are valid for one year) but I thought it was worth mentioning that I have been trained. I work in Columbia M-F but live in Holts Summit, MO. I am willing to work in Columbia, Jefferson City or Holts Summit. I’m working full time but can do check-ins/walks during my lunch break, before 8am or after 5pm on weekdays. Weekends are much more flexible as I don’t work on Saturdays or Sundays. I am comfortable with crate training and of course fenced in yards are great! I have no issues with walking pups on a leash. I live in Holts Summit where we have a leash law so leash and a decent harness would be required for stays with me. I have a huge yard to walk them around in!

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Corticelli.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
