About: I have worked for roughly two years dog sitting for friends and family. Typically these have been in my own home - occasionally overnight. I have a fenced in back yard for my 3 dogs & 2 cats so I have experience with both :) I have complete availability currently, so my dog at home gets quite a lot of walks and park time. If possible, i also try to socialize him with people each day. Typically I take my dog to the dog park in the evening with a long walk in the morning. This works best for my dogs energy levels, but each dog is different. I am also trying to socialize my dog in public as he is a bit scared of humans so we try to hit some breweries here and there.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits and fish over the years. Personally, I’ve owned dogs, cats, and rabbits myself. Most notably I’ve cared for small breed dogs but I have plenty of experience with large breeds. Currently I’m waiting on starting my new job so I have plenty of time to care for your pet. Though I prefer overnighting or afternoon/evening care, I can do days as well. I can not care for pets in my own home. I live in an apartment and have little room for a pet to move around.

About: Dogs, cats and birds have always been a part of my life. As a child, we even had a pet crow named Butch! I work from home so your fur or feather baby won’t be left alone. My last two dogs passed away after months of battling cancer. My siberian husky had nasal cancer and my papillion had lymphoma. I have experience providing palliative care for dogs that are not feeling well and probably need extra love and attention. Currently, my resident dog is a foster failure named Peppy. Occasionally, I will have a foster dog in addition to my resident dog. I would disclose that information before booking. I currently work from home and my schedule is very flexible. After work, I walk my dog either around the neighborhood or we go to Red Cedar trail or to a park in town. I can easily crate your dog if you request it but it’s ok if he/she sleeps wherever. My dog freaks out in a crate (he was a breeder release) so he sleeps wherever he chooses. He is very gentle and has no teeth so I will not care for any aggressive dog.

About: Ive had a little more then 3 years pet experience taking care of all ages and sizes of dog and cats. Doing everything from walks, runs and drop ins to staying over night and taking care of the house and land as well. I’m current an active student at UW stout with an open schedule open almost all day to take care of the needs of pets. Im an advocate for running and lifting and love to go on runs with dogs and train hunting dogs. I have a very active dog as is so I’m constantly watching or playing with him. I tend to make sure all small items are picked up, all chemicals are put away and am always on watch. I’m comfortable with both crate training and roaming animals.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a small girl, I grew up always having pets and I always love taking care of them. I live on a small hobby farm with goats and chickens and I love taking care of them too! I have 3 dogs and 1 cat and I would do anything for them. I have taken care of puppies a few times but not too much. I am currently going to school but I have plenty of time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and some weekends. I have specific times during the weekdays but that can be further discussed! I live in a dorm right now so I can’t have any animals here unless if they are quiet and that they are very well potty trained

About: I have about 8 years of experience helping high-end breeders breed and raise puppies, I’ve trained my own dogs, cats, and horses and have also had bunnies and chickens in the past. About: For the last 21 years our home has collected experience with animals with the focus on safety and specialty care. I worked as a vet tech the first half of my careers life. The last 10 years or so I've worked lightly as a tech but also as a foster coordinator with a major rescue. I help teach new fosters how to safely manage, handle and even train dogs new to a home and make sure they know ways to keep there dog safe. Our home specializes in those that need extra understanding, health care or time to settle in. We are not fostering at the moment so we only have our resident dogs in home. Dogs are our homes life. We already work around dog care schedules and appropriate trips outside all the time. I'm home all week and provide most mid-day walks and play time. Safety is a big factor in our home. We have years of learning and perfecting dog introductions when boarding and our dogs are very used to new guests coming in and out. When caring for dogs in my own yard but also when providing care at the owners home I always use safe leash handling skills. We dont have a fence so being aware of open doors and guests coming or going is something our whole home is always mentally aware of and our whole focus is keeping our guests safe.

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life as they are a huge part of so many lives! I love all types, ages, and breeds. I am available during evenings and weekends. About: I’ve lived with a dog my whole life I had 2 dogs for 7 years now just one sadly. I don’t mind going on long walks even runs with dogs as well. I don’t have school Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays. So those days I can work whenever. Tuesday Thursdays I’m free anytime after 4. So I have a pretty open schedule. My first priority will always be your pet. Giving it the upmost respect and care it needs. Making sure it’s happy, healthy, and safe whenever I’m with it.

About: My mom had rescue dogs and cats my entire childhood, and I always helped care for them as her oldest daughter. My mom adopted dogs big and small - as big as a golden retriever, and as little as a chihuahua, and often cared for multiple cats at a time. I grew up in California, where my family pets live with my parents - three dogs and two cats. My cat Momo moved to Eau Claire with me. My parents are planning to retire here, which will be a big move, especially with so many animals, so when the time comes, I’ll be helping move their pets. After living in Eau Claire for a month or so, I house and pet sat for my cousin while she was working on a project out of town for a few months. I bonded with her German Shepherd, Lobo, through long walks and runs, and fell in love with her tiny cat Duchess. Later that winter, while I was still doing the long-term pet sit for my cousin, one of her friend’s rescued a cat who had been abandoned. Due to her living situation, she couldn’t take it in immediately, so Lobo and Duchess had Zia as a guest living with us for a month or so. Beyond helping out my family, I have friends whose animals I help care for on occasion too. One friend reaches out when she needs to go out of town, and I will do check ups or come stay with her needy and sweet cat-named-Kitty. Another friend and I meet up to walk downtown with her cutie little dog Lotta. I record all my walks and runs on Strava, and enjoy posting photos and videos of my furry companions, so if I walk with your pup, I would be happy to share photos if you ask! Last summer, I looked after my co-worker’s chickens and garden for a 3-day weekend, so I’m open to learning how to care for other pets beyond cats and dogs too! I work part-time at the flower shop and my schedule varies week to week based on their need, but I have lots of free time between weekdays and the weekend - I always have a free Sunday. I can easily arrange my schedule to allow for plenty of time between walks, play time, or check ups with animals. I will be brand new to Rover and open to meeting pets’ needs and routines as their human typically would! Right now, beyond my cat Momo, the only other animals I care for are my cousin’s dog and cat when she’s traveling and needs me to fill in, and I care for them as she would - from feeding routines to play time, walks, and cleaning.

About: They say to do what you love and make a career out of it. I’m just grateful my career gets to be with dogs. I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility in the area, so I am certified with dog and cat behaviors and have seen the ups and downs of our fur babies, and I am still standing here happy to tell you all about their stay/session. I have also grown up with working farm dogs and have gone on to own a Great Pyrenees who isn’t quite a working dog but sure does “work” like one. Pet care for me starts at dawn lol My pups come for cuddles and a potty break first sight of my eyes opening. Most of the time this does align with my schedule in the 6 am timeframe. Our family does always thankfully have one person home at all times, so while kennels are still utilized in our home for various situations, your pups can expect to stay in a home environment while here :) While I personally do not have a yard, my family does own large pasture fields and hills that we will typically walk daily. These colder seasons do affect how often we go out due to the snow and unplowed hills. However in that safe weather we make it a main priority to keep active with our pups to maintain a healthy and long life for them. Safety is priority number one. Thankfully my family is pretty much set up for success here. We are knowledgeable for food, behavior, and play safety with dogs and cats. Signs and symptoms of common issues with dogs and cats, based off personal experiences, and possible fears of what ifs, urinary cat blockages and bloat, or bloody stools. And while I understand dog body language and know how to avoid those tense situations dogs can create, I am incredibly quick to say when we are going to the emergency vet, gosh forbid.

About: Hi there! I’m Destiny & have owned an array of furry friends over the years. I have never NOT had a pup and have owned many different breeds. Currently I own cattle dogs- an Aussie named Marley and Heeler/Collie mix named Sadie. They are 4, I trained them myself & they are extremely well behaved and socialized. I offer boarding, day care, dog walking, and can bathe your pup before returning them home to you. I can also pick up and drop off when needed. I can also house sit and pup sit if that is your need/comfortability as well. I am up for & encourage meet & greets before bookings if you would like to meet myself, the pups and/or see the house and our setup before hand! I work during the normal school year as a nursing instructor. I am off during the summer and am home FULL TIME to dedicate ALL of my time & attention to the fur babies! I promise your baby will be tuckered out, loved on and well fed (to your instructions of course!) Boarding at my home: safety is my top priority with animal to animal interaction and human to animal interaction. If pups need more alone time/privacy, they can be housed separately from my dogs at all times as we have multiple access points from our home to our fenced in yard and gate sectioning in our house. I do walks daily with them and am outside with them as well for the majority of the day. Our fenced in yard has a dog pool and I have BUCKETS of toys for them to play with! If your pup leans toward the spicier side & is more protective when it comes to their toys, food, or water please let me know and separation accommodations can be made, no problem. All breeds are different and each pup is different. I can also give medications topically, orally, injections etc. I can provide hourly updates through text, video call, phone calls, whatever you would like! At minimum I send a daily update. In your home: as a nurse, safety is always my top priority. I am also extremely clean and organized. I can maintain your daily routine with your pup so they don’t miss much while you are away. Again, meet and greets I encourage so you and especially your pup are comfortable meeting me and being in your home. I’ll be their make-shift auntie while you are away! Whatever update/care you want them to have, you got it- even FaceTime dates so you don’t have to miss them much.
