I spent 5 years volunteering at my local animal shelter and worked there for an additional year, giving me experience with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I also have two dogs of my own, Toby and Bandit, so I understand just how much our pets mean to us. I know that leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, which is why I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: I have always had dogs in my home growing up. I also provide bathing and nail trims to dogs of every size. I am able to help train on basic obedience or other "tricks" as needed. I have patience to deal with excited puppies and work with them as well. As a stay at home mom with one child, I'll have plenty of time in my day to take the time to play with your dog(s) and am available just about every day of the week! Alongside my own set of rules, I like to abide by what the pet parent says, since that is what the animal is most comfortable with. When taking dogs for walks, I don't like to use flexi-leashes. I find those unsafe as the mechanism can fail and I think most dogs don't need that much leash freedom at will.
