Treating Every Pet Like Family!

I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. At just eight years old, I began participating in dog training programs focused on Search and Rescue, Cadaver, and Diabetic Alert work. I have also taken Veterinary Science, Equine Science, and Zoology classes in Highschool. Over the years, I’ve handled dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities and developed a strong understanding of their behavior and individual needs. I’m comfortable handling different temperaments and keeping to each pet’s routine. Growing up, I didn’t have a dog of my own at first, so I took on pet-sitting jobs to prove my responsibility. In the meantime, I cared for all kinds of animals- birds, rats, rabbits, horses, goats, and more- until I finally earned my first dog. In my last year of high school, I led a puppy temperament testing project on two litters. I threw myself into understanding each puppy’s unique personality, and the breeder was moved by how passionate I was. She gifted me one of the puppies- now my best friend Butters- who’s almost four years old and a daily reminder of why I love working with animals!

Safety, trust & environment

I treat every client’s home with the same respect I’d want for my own. I make sure food and water areas stay clean, toys and supplies are put back, and everything is left just as it was when I arrived. It matters to me that families come home to a happy pet and a clean, peaceful space.

Adam did a great job! We didn't have a care in the world. He did updates everyday, along with numerous pictures, so we knew the two doggos were well taken care of. He listened to instructions and went above and beyond what we asked for. Very honest and reliable. Great communicator. Top notch all the way. My dogs already miss him. Hopefully he's available for any future bookings because we know we can trust him with our puppers.

If I could give Adam 100 stars I would! I was so worried leaving my 2 dogs, my 1 year old in particular because she’s nervous around people. He took the time and let her warm up at her own pace. He truly loves and cares about the puppies and their well being. He was very communicative and sent lots of pictures! I felt like with his report cards he gave me a really good idea of what my pups had been up to with him. This was my first time using rover and Adam informed me how everything worked and gave me information about himself to help me understand. I will be using Adam over and over again! My pups absolutely LOVED him!!!

Adam was amazing—and amazing is still an understatement of how incredible he was. He watched our two standard poodles for ten days while we were on vacation. His level of caring, attention, and love were unmatched in anyone we’ve ever had care for our dogs—and frankly, I doubt anyone could top it. We genuinely cannot praise him enough. One of our dogs had an abscess on her tail that had to be drained the day before we left, and Adam treated it and cared for it the whole time. He went above and beyond in every aspect of care. We can’t praise Adam enough. When you leave your pets with someone, in terms of anxiety, it’s like leaving your children with someone, and Adam absolutely understands this and acts accordingly. We can’t express our gratitude enough, and obviously we can’t recommend him enough. You will not find anyone better to care for your pets. You just won’t. He’ll be our number one go-to from now on. On a selfish level, I know that if the world knew about Adam, he’d be booked solid, which would make it more difficult for us to get him in the future. But he deserves the praise, and in the future, we’ll plan our activities/trips just to make sure we can get him—he’s that good.

Adam was so great to my dogs and cats! He took so many pictures and sent me consistently daily updates on how they were doing. He played with them and gave them a ton of love while I was away. I am so appreciative and really grateful to find someone who loves animals as much as Adam does. Thank you Adam!

Adam is amazing with animals. Not only have I seen him do so, I have personally asked him to care for my dog as well whenever it was necessary. He is very patient and compassionate with them as well, highly recommend.

Schedule

As a freelance artist working online, my schedule is very flexible, which makes it easy to fit pet care naturally into my week. I’m home throughout the day and able to plan around overnight visits or drop ins. That flexibility lets me stay attentive to each pet’s routine and gives me plenty of time for companionship and care.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Adam can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
Before a booking, I appreciate knowing anything that helps me cater to your pet’s needs. That includes: Routines – feeding times, potty schedules, favorite activities, or bedtime habits. Special needs – medications, mobility limitations, allergies, or anything medical I should watch for. Behaviors and quirks – reactivity, shyness with strangers, toy or food guarding, chewing tendencies, loud noises they dislike, or anything that helps me understand their personality. Training cues – words or signals they already know so I can keep things consistent. Household rules – if they’re not allowed on furniture, crate-trained, need gates closed, etc. The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels right at home. I’m comfortable with all ages, temperaments, and personalities- from outgoing, playful pets to more sensitive animals who need a gentler approach.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
