My name is Amy and I would like to offer my services to look after your animal/s while you are away from home. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and ages and love cats as well. Please reach out and let me walk your dog during the day or take care of your pets while you are away for the week or weekend. - $25 for 30 min walks. Time slots available from 10am-3pm in the Portland area. Mon-Fri - $50/day for sitting. Give your pets some company with overnight care. I will visit with your dog twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) or I can stay overnight. I'm happy to travel to the following locations: Falmouth, Yarmouth, Portland, South Portland, and Cape Elizabeth. During the week or weekends I look forward to hearing from you! About: I love animals big and small, I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I have experience rescuing and fostering cats and dogs. I currently work at a doggy day care as a kennel attendant, on a daily basis we supervise doggy day care, walk, feed and groom the dogs. I have experience in bathing, clipping toe nails on cats and dogs. I love my job and am looking to expand my brand in the hopes of one day opening my own kennel. I would love to meet new clients and build my brand and bonds with fur babies for life. I enjoy learning every day at work the behaviors and personalities of each pet, no two dogs are the same! I feel like my growing knowledge of animals will help me along the way.

About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows. Feel free to give any advise on how to care better for your dog, and I will be more than happy to accommodate.

About: I've been in contact with dogs as long as I've been walking and talking. My parents always had a pack of 4 running around the house and my brothers and I were frequently helping out with feeding, walking, etc. I used to spend a lot of my weekends with my mom’s poodle, trimming his unruly coat! I also have owned rats, fish and cats, and am comfortable caring for them, as well as birds. Just let me know if you have a smaller critter that needs some care! I have experience with farm animals such as horses and chickens, and am happy to watch goats, cows, you name it!! My Service Dog in Training, Artemis, and I are currently travelling across the US together! We’re currently home in Maine again and offering services all over! I’m available any day of the week, all hours of the day to hang out with your pet :) I work a hybrid job as a peer support partner that’s mainly remote, so you can rest well knowing they won’t be spending long hours alone. I clicker train my dog, Artemis, my service dog, and have mini training sessions everyday with her. I'm more than happy to include your dog if you let me know what you'd like to work on. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my late mastiff mix came into my care with an extreme case of stranger reactivity that I managed. So if your pup is timid or shy, I will for sure still take them on and give them the best experience catering to their specific fears. I know owning a reactive dog can be isolating and stressful. Let me take some of that stress away by being understanding of your pups and their needs! I’m more than happy to arrange meet and greets to discuss fido’s specific needs, and let them get used to my presence. Understanding and listening is important in managing reactivity, and I’m more than happy to be that person!

About: I live on a 26 acre farm, with all sorts of animals, I have grown up with them and have learned how to love and care for them all. I am a part time dog groomer so I am always surrounded one way or another! My availability to care for your animals is quite flexible, I work close to home and can work around my schedule to accommodate you and your animals routine. My home is a trust worthy environment for at home stays. I am currently working on a fenced in area but for now we have an open field to space to run with supervision.
