My name is Amy and I would like to offer my services to look after your animal/s while you are away from home. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and ages and love cats as well. Please reach out and let me walk your dog during the day or take care of your pets while you are away for the week or weekend. - $25 for 30 min walks. Time slots available from 10am-3pm in the Portland area. Mon-Fri - $50/day for sitting. Give your pets some company with overnight care. I will visit with your dog twice a day (once in the morning and once at night) or I can stay overnight. About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows. Feel free to give any advise on how to care better for your dog, and I will be more than happy to accommodate.

About: I have been caring for animals basically my entire life. I have spent two weeks at a clients home before to watch their dog while they were on the road. I have experience with my own animals as well as have raised many types of animals including but not limited to dogs,cats, reptiles, farm animals, etc. I was the person that fed them, walked them, provided comfort and performed any other necessary tasks needed in order to make sure the animals needs are met. Currently I have a very open schedule. I am busy most Tuesdays right now from 1-4 pm. Besides that my schedule is open to play, watch, feed, walk or whatever you need me to do. I will make sure your pet is safe while in my care whether it be on a walk or playing outside and I will supervise your pet around any other animals.

About: I've been in contact with dogs as long as I've been walking and talking. My parents always had a pack of 4 running around the house and my brothers and I were frequently helping out with feeding, walking, etc. I used to spend a lot of my weekends with my mom’s poodle, trimming his unruly coat! I also have owned rats, fish and cats, and am comfortable caring for them, as well as birds. Just let me know if you have a smaller critter that needs some care! I have experience with farm animals such as horses and chickens, and am happy to watch goats, cows, you name it!! My Service Dog in Training, Artemis, and I are currently travelling across the US together! We’re currently home in Maine again and offering services all over! I’m available any day of the week, all hours of the day to hang out with your pet :) I work a hybrid job as a peer support partner that’s mainly remote, so you can rest well knowing they won’t be spending long hours alone. I clicker train my dog, Artemis, my service dog, and have mini training sessions everyday with her. I'm more than happy to include your dog if you let me know what you'd like to work on. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my late mastiff mix came into my care with an extreme case of stranger reactivity that I managed. So if your pup is timid or shy, I will for sure still take them on and give them the best experience catering to their specific fears. I know owning a reactive dog can be isolating and stressful. Let me take some of that stress away by being understanding of your pups and their needs! I’m more than happy to arrange meet and greets to discuss fido’s specific needs, and let them get used to my presence. Understanding and listening is important in managing reactivity, and I’m more than happy to be that person!

About: Experience with both senior cats/dogs and young cats and dogs. Currently own a senior dog (medium), but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I currently work as a vet assistant weekends, and sometimes have class during the week. Best thing to do is reach out and see when I am available! I appreciate information about your animals routine (wether they are crated at night, times they usually go out, high enery, low energy, feeding schedule, and other things that will allow me to give the most thorough care I can) so I can properly care for them. Also please give me a heads up about food or toy aggression before hand (it doesn't necessarily mean I'll deny service I just want to be warned so I can be extra cautious)

About: As long as I can remember,I’ve had a love for animals! I’ve been house/pet sitting for 8 years I care for every animal there is including farm animals and even exotics such as snakes!!!! I currently work for myself primarily cleaning houses and pet sitting! This is my specialty! I love all animals (except spiders!) but so long as they are in a tank I’m okay !!!! I will care for your fur babies as if they were my very own. I will make sure they are happy and safe while you’re away! My husband doesn’t call me the animal whisperer for nothin!!! ☺️

My availability to care for your animals is quite flexible, I work close to home and can work around my schedule to accommodate you and your animals routine. My home is a trust worthy environment for at home stays. I am currently working on a fenced in area but for now we have an open field to space to run with supervision.
