“So I was a total wreck about leaving my dog for her first stay on Rover. I paced. I worried. I probably sent 10 "is she okay?" texts within five minutes of dropping off. Turns out, all that extra anxiety was a colossal waste of time. My worry immidetly evaporated after the first update Shannia sent. You cannot hide experience. Shannia and her family are so obviously knowledgeable about canine behavior. They weild a level of calm, confident know-how that only comes from years of wrangling everything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. The photos! Just like the other reviews say, only more, my dog's headshots look like they belong on the cover of Vanity Fair... not my fridge. They're so ridiculously good, they're literally better than any professional photographer I've ever used. I am beyond satisfied with this experience. I will definitely be back. In fact, If I ever need to re-home my dog (which, after this, she might prefer), Shannia's family gets first dibs. She's clearly found her true calling there”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 11 and I am now 31 years old now. I was the sole care taker for our family dog in charge of bathing,walking, feeding and playing with him every chance I got. I love all types of dogs. Whenever I see someone with a dog I always have to go over and say hi and pet there dog! My wife and I have a shitzu and I am in charge of her every need while my wife works. Every moment I spend with dogs is my favorite! My wife works from home and I take care of the house so I am always home taking care of our big yard and our fur baby. My schedule is very flexible. I know that your dog is more than a pet that they are like family and should be treated as such. I play with the dogs. Always make sure that they are fed and have water as well as go outside and play fetch on the 5 acres of land with them. I enjoy giving them belly rubs and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I know that visiting a strangers house may be scary for your dogs the first time they come over. That's why I make sure to meet there needs so that they are full and comfortable and will feel happy with us.

Brad has a large yard for the dogs to run and play in, and they are all welcome in the house. About: I grew up with horses, cats and dogs and that brought on my love of animals. I worked in a small animal vet clinic for 12 years as a tech until I had my kids and became a SAHM 4 years so I have a lot of experience caring for animals. The benefit of having worked as a tech for so long is I’m very well trained in dog behavior, medical treatment, and giving pets extra loves when they’re feeling nervous. We have our own doodle who is a spayed female and she loves other dogs, even the grouchy ones. I have two kids, a 4 1/2 year old and a 7 1/2 year old who both were taught from a young age how to properly treat animals so they’re both very respectful of space and gentle. I am currently a stay at home mom so I am at the house most of the day, aside from running kids to activities, to take care of your pet. The living space in our home is one floor so there aren’t stairs for senior pets to have to climb. We also have a fenced backyard for them to play and potty without getting out.

About: (*Requires a copy of vaccination records before booking*) I have taken care of dogs and many other animals since I was a child. We currently have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses, chickens, ducks, and geese. With regards to dogs, I am a huge fan of Cesar Millan, the dog whisperer, and try to always be the alpha of my pack to help my dogs feel calm, safe, and respectful. Your dog will be well loved and looked after while you are away and I will do my best to help them feel comfortable as soon as possible so they can relax and enjoy a new experience. I am a stay at home mom. I am home most of the time except to take my kids to and from school and run occasional errands or visits. Since we have a small 7 acre hobby farm, taking care of our animals is a high priority and a consistent part of our every day. We have a large fenced yard in the middle of our acreage and two very sweet female golden retrievers and my family of 8 to help keep your dog company. Our dogs, along with your dog, will be kept in separate kennels in the home during the night and for day time rest but can remain outside as long as they want while I am home. I always kennel them in the house when I leave. We occasionally let our dogs be outside of their kennels in the home on non carpeted areas. The dogs can also play in the room where their kennels are kept.

About: I live in Rigby with my husband and our 2 dogs and 3 cats. Our coonhound is old and loves to sleep. Although he can be protective of his food. Our yellow lab puppy is crate trained and potty trained but still crazy. Bother are very sweet though. Our cats keep to themselves and run away if bothered. No need to worry about them. I would love to welcome your furry friend into our home when you need a little break. Or I can walk them while you’re at work! Let me know what you’re needs are and I will do my best to meet them. I am an RN but right now not employed anywhere. I have a lot of availability. If my schedule changes I will let you know. But right now I am available mostly everyday Sun-Sat I have a semi fenced yard and the road has minimal traffic. We have 3 large water bowls in our backyard as well as two inside to keep our friends hydrated. We have tent that pets can go under for shade due to us having minimal tree coverage. I have a 20ft tether for pets who cannot respond to recall.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. Currently we have 3 dogs that love to play! We’ve got a backyard and separate pen outside. Your pup will be treated like family when at our house 🏡 I currently work part time, two days a week. So I will have lots of availability to watch your doggo. We love going out and playing, especially with toys! I have a fenced yard with a separate fence out back. We have 3 dogs all ages and sizes to play with your pup. We have 2 large kennels inside. An endless supply of toys and treats! We have a baby at home so dogs need to love children, and get along with all sizes of dogs.
