About: I’ve taken care of my community’s pets since I was 17. I’ve cared for almost all kinds of pets. Cats, dogs, birds, lizards, you name it! I always try to go the extra mile so that pet parents not only come home to a happy, healthy pet; but a clean and well-cared for home! I am a middle school band director who works 7-3 most days. However, I can go before and after school care and I can spend nights! My kittens get fed twice a day, they get a new toy once a month and go to the vet once a month! They also have their litter box scooped every night and cleaned once a week. They even sleep in the bed with me. If I’m caring for dogs, they go on at least 3 walks a day of varying length (depending on the dog). I frequently watch a 13 year old pug who can’t stay out very long, so he goes on 3, 10-minute walks a day. However, if your dog has the endurance to go on a longer walk/run with me - I’ll take them up to 3 miles!

I also have experience with horses, llamas, pigs, goats, sheep, monkeys & lemurs. But I do NOT do spiders or snakes. Besides caring for my 3 rescue pups, I also run my own business, so my schedule is usually somewhat flexible. But my calendar books up quickly. I currently do drop-in visits at your home. I have my own transportation. Besides keeping to your pets feeding schedule, I am happy to spend time with them, if they're not afraid of new people. And I'm happy to walk dogs that are 40 lbs or less.

I walk my dogs on leash on our property. For you I’d do what your pet is accustomed to. I’m very flexible and able to work with what works for you best.

About: All my life I was raised to care for animals. I developed a love for them like no other at a very young age. So, when I decided to leave a normal 9-5 job I stumbled across Rover and found my passion. I absolutely adore caring for animals and when I care for yours I will make sure that they are loved and cared for as I would love and care for my own. After my children moved out my schedule became open. I am available at any time to care for your fur babies and am more than happy to do so. When it comes to having a stranger in your home I can understand the uncertainty that comes with. I’m reliable, patient, detail-oriented, and I’ll stick to your pet’s routine because I know consistency matters. Expect lots of updates, cute pictures, and the occasional message telling you your dog made a new best friend (me). I’m currently a PhD student, so my schedule has flexibility throughout the week. Pet care is honestly one of my favorite ways to step away from my computer, get outside, and spend time with some furry company. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive when I say I will, and make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. If your pet is in my care, they’re my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep a close eye on their behavior, and make sure they stay safe and comfortable. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel nerve-racking, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can actually enjoy your time away instead of wondering how your fur baby is doing.

“Tyler did a wonderful job caring for our kitties. I had set up an automatic feeder to give the cats dry food (Tyler was giving them wet food at his visits) and the cats toppled it and knocked it over. The next day, they clawed into the sealed bag of food I’d left out. Both times, Tyler graciously cleaned it up and helped me devise a way to keep the cats from doing it again. He checked in daily and sent occasional photos and videos, which my kids loved. I will definitely use him again!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have always loved caring for animals. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at a kennel for three years, where I cared for up to 10 dogs each day. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, cleaning kennels, supervising playtime, and making sure every dog was safe, comfortable, and happy. Through both my personal and professional experience, I've become comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also regularly care for my family's cat while they're on vacation, ensuring they're fed, comfortable, and given plenty of attention while their owners are away. Pet care is already a regular part of my routine, and I make it a priority to provide dependable, consistent care. I have classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but they are only for part of the day, which leaves me with plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, I have even more availability. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits naturally into my weekly schedule. When caring for pets, I always do my best to keep them on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and any other specific care your pet needs. I make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also respecting their individual personality and comfort level.
