About: Hi there! Sarah, 32 years old, and obsessed with animals. I am a New York native who spent 6 yrs in Colorado and recently moved back. I have been dog-sitting and house sitting for over 10 years-but am new to Rover after just moving back to New York. I have had pets(cats and dogs) my entire life and currently have one lil lady cat Emme. My family has always rescued dogs so I’ve worked with dogs of all needs and walks of life including epileptic and profound-needs dogs. I love working with animals of every shape and size and have yet to meet an animal I didn’t get along with. Currently I’m starting a small business combining holistic wellness with women’s group work. Because of that I’m looking for more small gigs on the side that allow me the freedom to make and choose my own schedule. I don’t have rover ratings yet but I do have references available! Currently I work from home and am starting a small business. As that grows my availability may shift. I can offer in home care to well behaved small dogs that get along with cats. I can do check ins and dog-walking easily. I have a large space on a river at home and love bringing dogs(&cats) on walks and spending time outside. I’m committed to interaction and playtime as it’s vital to building and maintaining trust with animals. I’m comfortable following the structure that other people use in their homes to make their pet as happy as possible as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, all of whom ranged from Great Danes to dachshunds. I’ve worked with older dogs all the way to puppies and have had my fair share of messes to clean up afterwards. No matter their age they are all puppies in my eyes. I work full-time as a Behavioral Interventionist in Chittenden County and my hours on the Job are: Monday-Friday 7:30-3 PM. Weekends are very flexible as I usually am at home the entire time. I follow the care instructions given by the owners to the letter. If there are certain rules in place, I will ask the owner about what to expect from those rules. When there is a walkthrough before owner leaves, I like to make sure if there is any medication that the pups may need to take. I make sure to clean their water bowls out daily, and feed them the amount of food that the owner permits me to feed them. If the pups are allowed treats I will undoubtedly spoil them. If there is an emergency I ask for their vet’s phone number in case the pup needs to be taken. This is not my home and these are not my pups, therefore I will follow what the owner wants for their animals.

About: Hi, I’m Jessica! I’ve cared for my own animals since 2014 and have experience with everything from playful puppies and cuddly cats to wise senior dogs. Whether it’s a gentle walk, senior dog snuggles, kitty playtime, or keeping your big pup exercised and happy, I’ve got you covered—and I’ll keep you updated with plenty of pictures along the way. I am also experienced with dog aggressive/reactive dogs and able to provide a safe space for them to relax & play. I appreciate meeting clients and their animals before agreeing to any services. The more you can tell me about your pet and their temperament the better I will be able to care for them. All dogs must be house trained. All cats must be litter trained. I currently work from home full time which allows me to be present during the day for your furry friend 💜 plenty of play & sunshine to be enjoyed. I have an unfenced yard with 2 acres to explore and play on if your pup is not dog friendly. I also have the rail trail very close by for walks. Pets are allowed on the furniture (how else can they get snuggles??) & can easily crate a pup if needed.

About: I have been working with animals for the last ten years. Started working in dog daycares and moved my way up to vet medicine where i now am a vet technician. I am patient and understanding to all pets personalities and ages. I am currently working 3 days a week on a specialty service at a veterinary hospital. My weekends are typically free and I would love to fill the time with your furry loved ones. Will be very respectful of your home and make giving your sweet boy or girl my devoted attention. Back yard fence in play is great but leash walks are also great!

About: I’ve pet sat for a few families for many years. I grew up around dogs, had cats of my own, and now have 2 precious dogs who are my world. I currently work a full time job, typically done around 4pm. I am looking to get more experience with pet sitting and make some extra income. About: I’ve taken care of and had my own dogs and cats for over 20 years. My current dogs are 2 and 9 so I have a wide range of recent experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’m a therapist in training currently so I’m very pro communication and I’m happy to set expectations with you early and keep lines of communication open throughout my time with your pet. My schedule is very flexible especially over the summer, I’m currently studying for my PhD and can pop over for a walk, a feeding, a bathroom break, or just a visit. Especially this summer without classes I can work with you and your schedule. I have two dogs and a cat myself. I think I love them probably more than anything else in this world. In our home we love and respect our pets making sure they feel comfortable and confident and safe. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in back yard, our dogs are walked 2x per day and have bones and lick mats several times per week. I think mutual respect between us and pets is incredibly important and I always want them to live a life as full as possible.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, and exotics of all sizes my whole life. I have a calm energy and am able to work with most animals. Family and friends have relied on me from a young age to help take care of their pets while out of town. Looking to build my clientele with any type of pet sit and booking you are requiring. I specialize in aging dogs and cats and the specific special treatment they require, physically and emotionally. I have an unfenced back yard which all dogs will be leashed for potty breaks. I will treat your home as I do my own and leave everything the way I found it.

About: I am an experienced dog owner. I have 2 special needs dogs at home that I love with all of my heart! I am especially experienced with blind dogs, puppies with a lot of energy, senior dogs, dogs with anxiety, and dogs with epilepsy. I would be a great boarding option for someone that has a dog who requires medication or extra attention or needs. My home is set up in a way that is ideal for dogs with vision or mobility issues. I am also experienced with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with animals and have had many job positions involving animals including being a vet-tech assistant and also being a petcare associate. I would also be a great choice for someone who needs a dog to be walked for longer than 30 minutes or a dog that would go on a short run. I am very knowledgable about dogs and other animals and would love the opportunity to meet your furry friend! If you are looking to board more than one dog, we can work something out price-wise! I am available to watch your pets virtually any day of the week! I should also mention that I have a lot of experience with other types of animals (especially reptiles and farm animals). If you are going away and need someone to stop in to care for any type of animal that you have I would be more than happy to help:) I will have a fenced in yard shortly! Our house is secluded and is on a private road. I would be able to walk your fur-child on a road with almost no cars! I also send A LOT of pictures of your fur-child throughout their stay with me to put you at ease.

About: I have been a fur baby person all my life. I have loved and cared for “puppies” and kitties since I can remember! I enjoy spending time with my fur babies. I lost my two fur babies and miss them very much so I have lots of love to share with your fur babies.Iwould love to spend time with your fur baby or babies. About: I’ve been around both dogs and cats my entire life , personally owned both for 5 years now. Back in CO I house sat and watched dogs frequently and loved it , now I work at a Canine daycare and Training facility in Plattsburgh Tuesday-Friday. Brings me joy everyday to help people take care of their fur babies ❤️ I work Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day but have a lengthy lunch break that I can leave and assist others with their pets , Friday I have a half day so Im available all afternoon. Saturday- Monday I’m available for overnight boarding and checkins ( walks , feeding , etc ) . Let me care for your fur baby while you’re away ! I have a large yard with one well behaved girl dog and two cats, I can provide a run line if wanted or just frequent leashed walks if that’s preferred . There are plenty of toys and outdoor shade , as well as a baby pool for cooling off in summer . I have a XXL crate so I can crate your animals if wanted/necessary , and a “Pet room” where they can sleep on the bed or chair as they desire.

About: I’ve had the joy of living with dogs my entire life, from a Black Lab in my toddler years and to a Shih Tzu and a Shih Tzu Poodle mix. I recently rescued a Pittbull Lab mix who lives with my parents now. Needless to say I love all breeds equally and will happily love yours! There’s nothing more I love than seeing the joy of a dog exploring on a walk, playing with them for hours on end, and giving them endless scratches and belly rubs, which is exactly what would be on the agenda! About: I’ve worked with dogs on and off for years but have had dogs all of my life. I have given played with big packs of pups and done solo play times as well. I have a flexible schedule that will let me have more availability for your fluffy friends to get out and play and exercise. I’m looking for a long term dog caring commitment to start off my new year. I am not able to do home care ( in my home) at this time. I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: Have had pets since I was a child, over 20 years. I am a current pet and livestock owner. I have dogs, goats, bunnies and chickens. I am available most week days and every other weekend. I can be flexible, but it would have to work around my full time job. I am willing to drop in and walk your dog for as long as you'd like. Will play catch, ball and run them when possible.

Since I work online from home, I can be with your pets throughout the day, giving them love, attention, walks, playtime, and everything they need. Occasionally, I step out for short house cleanings, but I would only be gone for a couple of hours at most. In your home, I make sure your pets are safe, cared for, and loved. I follow their routines, provide walks and playtime, and keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I love working with dogs, the most! Pre-Covid I worked at a dog daycare for a year and those work days felt like my days off. There, I gained experience with all kinds of breeds and behaviors of dogs and got to love every one of them as they were my own. I don't do training but would be happy to reinforce learned tricks and commands that they already have experience with! currently caring for a newborn and off of my full-time employment. baby would join me in dog walks and drop ins. when returning to work i’m out early afternoon for those doggies needing a midday potty or visit would love to work with a couple of families closely to offer routine to your pet with consistent visits and care. I’m no longer offering services in my own home.

About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore. I’m self-employed, which means very flexible hours. Weekends are not out of the question with notice. I always try to find ways to make scheduling work. I will make sure that your loving companions are safe, fed, walked (if applicable), loved and attended to for the entire duration of my visit.
