About: Hi there! Sarah, 32 years old, and obsessed with animals. I am a New York native who spent 6 yrs in Colorado and recently moved back. I have been dog-sitting and house sitting for over 10 years-but am new to Rover after just moving back to New York. I have had pets(cats and dogs) my entire life and currently have one lil lady cat Emme. My family has always rescued dogs so I’ve worked with dogs of all needs and walks of life including epileptic and profound-needs dogs. I love working with animals of every shape and size and have yet to meet an animal I didn’t get along with. Currently I’m starting a small business combining holistic wellness with women’s group work. Because of that I’m looking for more small gigs on the side that allow me the freedom to make and choose my own schedule. I don’t have rover ratings yet but I do have references available! Currently I work from home and am starting a small business. As that grows my availability may shift. I can offer in home care to well behaved small dogs that get along with cats. I can do check ins and dog-walking easily. I have a large space on a river at home and love bringing dogs(&cats) on walks and spending time outside. I’m committed to interaction and playtime as it’s vital to building and maintaining trust with animals. I’m comfortable following the structure that other people use in their homes to make their pet as happy as possible as well.

About: I’ve pet sat for a few families for many years. I grew up around dogs, had cats of my own, and now have 2 precious dogs who are my world. I currently work a full time job, typically done around 4pm. I am looking to get more experience with pet sitting and make some extra income. About: I am an experienced dog owner. I have 2 special needs dogs at home that I love with all of my heart! I am especially experienced with blind dogs, puppies with a lot of energy, senior dogs, dogs with anxiety, and dogs with epilepsy. I would be a great boarding option for someone that has a dog who requires medication or extra attention or needs. My home is set up in a way that is ideal for dogs with vision or mobility issues. I am also experienced with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with animals and have had many job positions involving animals including being a vet-tech assistant and also being a petcare associate. I would also be a great choice for someone who needs a dog to be walked for longer than 30 minutes or a dog that would go on a short run. I am very knowledgable about dogs and other animals and would love the opportunity to meet your furry friend! If you are looking to board more than one dog, we can work something out price-wise! I am available to watch your pets virtually any day of the week! I should also mention that I have a lot of experience with other types of animals (especially reptiles and farm animals). If you are going away and need someone to stop in to care for any type of animal that you have I would be more than happy to help:) I will have a fenced in yard shortly! Our house is secluded and is on a private road. I would be able to walk your fur-child on a road with almost no cars! I also send A LOT of pictures of your fur-child throughout their stay with me to put you at ease.

About: I have been working with animals for the last ten years. Started working in dog daycares and moved my way up to vet medicine where i now am a vet technician. I am patient and understanding to all pets personalities and ages. I am currently working 3 days a week on a specialty service at a veterinary hospital. My weekends are typically free and I would love to fill the time with your furry loved ones. Will be very respectful of your home and make giving your sweet boy or girl my devoted attention. Back yard fence in play is great but leash walks are also great!

About: Just getting back with Rover and would love to care for your pup(s) overnight or provide doggy day care in my non-smoking Colchester, VT home. I've been boarding dogs in my home for 9 years. There are no children in my home and is female-only occupied. I offer a fully-fenced grassy yard and I am home all day. In addition to lots of play in the yard I like to take them to the dog park (weather permitting). Dogs can come in and out of the dog doors into the fenced yard as they wish during the day-or I let them in and out if they are not accustomed to dog doors. I am always close-by and very safety oriented and provide lots of attention. When indoors, the pups spend time playing with me and my dog, enjoying dog toys, napping on dog beds day and night (or in a crate if you prefer). Recent references provided at the meet 'n greet we'll schedule prior to boarding so you can check things out and ask questions. I am home all day and pups boarding with me have 24-hr care. I am up early and they are fed according to their individual needs. They can the play outside or inside as they wish, coming in and out of dog doors to fenced yard, or my letting them in and out if they aren't used to dog doors. They have final potty breaks in the evening and then inside for the night. Non-smoking, non-drinking responsible home. There are no children in my adult, female-occupied home. I have a fully-fenced, grassy yard and a cozy, peaceful indoor environment. I only have up to 3 dogs in my home at a time. Frequent play, treats and toys provided.

About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m a big time animal lover! I’ve had experience taking care of cats and dogs. I grew up with a cockapoo named Millie and a cat named Maggie and have always had a special connection to animals, dogs and cats in particular. I’m quite an active person, so I’ll be able to take your dog on a speed walk, but I’m also very patient if your dog prefers leisurely walks! I have Sundays and Mondays off of work, and I work the rest of the days so am not as available. Tuesday mornings before 10 am are available for me. I work a full-time 40 hr. a week job that is about an hour away from my house, so I’m only available to pet sit on days I have off, which are Sundays and Mondays. I am also available Tuesday mornings before 10 am I do not offer pet sitting in my own house, but in my client’s house I will make sure to follow the pet care instructions given to me to the T! I’m a very detail oriented person. I also love meeting new pets, and will make them feel as comfortable as possible by introducing myself slowly and in a friendly way.

About: I have been a fur baby person all my life. I have loved and cared for “puppies” and kitties since I can remember! I enjoy spending time with my fur babies. I lost my two fur babies and miss them very much so I have lots of love to share with your fur babies.Iwould love to spend time with your fur baby or babies. I enjoy spending time with all my grand fur babies and volunteering at local shelters with fur babies. So my schedule varies each week. This also means during my off season enables for lots of time and love to give to your fur baby or babies. Now, I want to have fur babies in my life. I have a large yard for lots of room to play or can come to your home. I love to go for long walks and enjoying the company of your fur babies. I am very detailed oriented, caring and have endless love for ALL fur babies. People tell me I have a gentle touch and am able to calm those little ones. I respect and strive to keep the area clean and tidy.

About: I’ve had the joy of living with dogs my entire life, from a Black Lab in my toddler years and to a Shih Tzu and a Shih Tzu Poodle mix. I recently rescued a Pittbull Lab mix who lives with my parents now. Needless to say I love all breeds equally and will happily love yours! There’s nothing more I love than seeing the joy of a dog exploring on a walk, playing with them for hours on end, and giving them endless scratches and belly rubs, which is exactly what would be on the agenda! I have experience giving medicine in numerous ways as well as bathing them if things get messy! I have also worked previously as a veterinary receptionist. I have no problem staying at your home overnight, respect and communication are held to the highest of standards for me. I can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur babies!!

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals, since growing up on a dairy farm in Charlotte, VT. I love dogs and finally have one of my own, and Austrailian Shepard, he happily plays with all dogs and enjoys off lease pack walks at local areas. I do overnight, day boarding, and pick up to play. I'm very flexible and happy to work at a short notice. I work from home and have my own business that gives the flexibility to work around my dogs schedule. I have a fenced in yard, along with a park right next door. Not only will they be mostly outside while they are here, they will get plenty of exercise and down time if needed.

About: Have had pets since I was a child, over 20 years. I am a current pet and livestock owner. I have dogs, goats, bunnies and chickens. I am available most week days and every other weekend. I can be flexible, but it would have to work around my full time job. I am willing to drop in and walk your dog for as long as you'd like. Will play catch, ball and run them when possible.

About: I’ve been around both dogs and cats my entire life , personally owned both for 5 years now. Back in CO I house sat and watched dogs frequently and loved it , now I work at a Canine daycare and Training facility in Plattsburgh Tuesday-Friday. Brings me joy everyday to help people take care of their fur babies ❤️ I work Tuesday through Thursday throughout the day but have a lengthy lunch break that I can leave and assist others with their pets , Friday I have a half day so Im available all afternoon. Saturday- Monday I’m available for overnight boarding and checkins ( walks , feeding , etc ) . Let me care for your fur baby while you’re away ! I have a large yard with one well behaved girl dog and two cats, I can provide a run line if wanted or just frequent leashed walks if that’s preferred . There are plenty of toys and outdoor shade , as well as a baby pool for cooling off in summer . I have a XXL crate so I can crate your animals if wanted/necessary , and a “Pet room” where they can sleep on the bed or chair as they desire.

About: I’ve worked with dogs on and off for years but have had dogs all of my life. I have given played with big packs of pups and done solo play times as well. I have a flexible schedule that will let me have more availability for your fluffy friends to get out and play and exercise. I’m looking for a long term dog caring commitment to start off my new year. I am not able to do home care ( in my home) at this time. I do have two wonderful dogs who love to have play dates at puppy parks and go for long walks.

About: As a dog mom of three, I understand how important routine, safety, and trust are when someone else is caring for your dog. I provide in-home sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. I’ve cared for both large and small breeds, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications if needed. Since I work online from home, I can be with your pets throughout the day, giving them love, attention, walks, playtime, and everything they need. Occasionally, I step out for short house cleanings, but I would only be gone for a couple of hours at most. In your home, I make sure your pets are safe, cared for, and loved. I follow their routines, provide walks and playtime, and keep them happy and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I've helped take care of dogs ever since I was five years old. I was relied on in my family to feed, walk, and give emotion care to our various dogs over the years. I've helped to take care of small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work as a middle school teacher, so I would be available to take care of your dog in the evenings and on the weekends. I have a large shared backyard that could be used to throw a ball of frisbee with dogs. My house is close to the Burlington Bike Path which would allow for easy access to walk. My apartment is also spacious enough for your pet to be able to roam or big enough to accommodate a crate if needed.

About: I love working with dogs, the most! Pre-Covid I worked at a dog daycare for a year and those work days felt like my days off. There, I gained experience with all kinds of breeds and behaviors of dogs and got to love every one of them as they were my own. I don't do training but would be happy to reinforce learned tricks and commands that they already have experience with! currently caring for a newborn and off of my full-time employment. baby would join me in dog walks and drop ins. when returning to work i’m out early afternoon for those doggies needing a midday potty or visit would love to work with a couple of families closely to offer routine to your pet with consistent visits and care. I’m no longer offering services in my own home.

About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore. I’m self-employed, which means very flexible hours. Weekends are not out of the question with notice. I always try to find ways to make scheduling work. I will make sure that your loving companions are safe, fed, walked (if applicable), loved and attended to for the entire duration of my visit.
