“Listen, look no further on Rover! Sharon is it. My dog injured himself and needed a place for several days that was attentive to his needs because he couldn't run or jump and I didn't want him crated all day while I was at work. Sharon sent me videos, photos, progess updates, and my Bosey would get so excited when we pulled up to her house. Her home is so serene and calm. She has plenty of toys. He has recovered quicker than I anticipated. I soooo appreciate Sharon and the care and compassion that she had for my Bosey. I will be using her and anyone reading this review should too.”

“Aspen was really fantastic with my 2 dogs during their week long daycare stays. She even sat patiently with my old dog to ensure all of the lunch was eaten. I also enjoyed the daily pictures she sent!”

About: I am an animal lover and have voluntarily trained animals while working in the ARMY. I establish a " sense of security" for the animals with training and intuition , that has developed over my life experiences handling animals. I enjoy seeing the happiness in my own pets; for instance, after a hike. I will treat your pets with compassion and as if they are a ' part ' of my family , while they are in my care. I love dogs and cats and am looking forward to walking, training and allowing my own dog, Precious , to have socialization with other animals. I trained Precious to co habitat with cats. She is well behaved around all types of others , people and animals.

“I had such a great experience with Melody for doggy daycare! As a first-time Rover user, I really appreciated that she gave me a phone call before the booking - it put me at ease right away. Melody’s communication throughout the whole process was excellent! I got many pics of my little boy Charlie, it was clear that he had a blast. Also, her yard setup is awesome - spacious and secure! I’ll absolutely be using her services again soon when we’re on vacation and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: My Grandmother was a Colorado State award-winning dog trainer and I grew up helping her care for her three Belgian Tervurans. I've owned several dogs throughout my life as well. I'm a sucker for animals-in-need. I have a history of volunteer work at shelters and have cared for a wide range of dogs! I have three kids aged 3, 4, and 7 who have grown up around all types of animals, including dogs of all sizes. Currently, we have two cats and two ferrets. We are extremely active with our animals and play with them throughout the day! My wife and I both work 35 hours a week on opposite schedules so one of us is always available! We have separate days off so 5 days a week, one of us has the day off. We have a large fenced in back yard with only one exterior entry point which is double gated. The double gated side yard is where we usually meet the owners when they come for pick up. The double gated entry way provides protection from dogs escaping. Wehave a large metal container that we use as a water trough that we fill with ice water 3 times a day to keep all dogs well hydrated! We have lots of dog toys for the back yard as well. Inside, dog beds are on the main floor and they have free access to the house. We do not provide kennels but will use one if it is brought and is the owners preference. Dogs eat at the same time we eat. We send LOTS of pictures and updates throughout the day!

I don’t have a fenced yard, but I will take your animals on nice long walks and they will get the chance to run and play in a dog park. I work 5-8 hours a day and am home almost all days on Saturday’s and Can give your fur baby all the attention they need. Please tell me know if your animal has any special requirements and I’ll be happy to do so.

“Risa was AMAZING!! The girls LOVED her I’ve asked if they want to go see her again and they get all excited! I’m so happy to have met Risa and to know she’s perfect for when we need a dog sitter again! Communication was great, sent lots of pictures!”

“Racheal & Stephanie were so kind! They were flexible with pick-up & drop-off, very communicative pre & during Frankie girl’s stay (including great updates with photos!) I had a previous Rover cancel and Racheal was able to accept my request the day-of! Though Frankie girl wasn’t as open to their high-energy puppies, she was able to snuggle and enjoy with them on the couch. Would absolutely rebook with Racheal & Stephanie again! Thanks to you both!”

“Dawn is a very friendly person. I'm a totally clingy doggie Dad and Dawn made sure to share status updates regularly, including videos and pictures. She went above and beyond to ensure Olivia and myself were at ease during the entire experience. When the need for a doggie sitter comes up in the future, I will definitely be getting in touch with Dawn. Thanks for making this experience as stress free as possible.”

About: Hi, I'm Tammy. I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was a very young girl. While you're away, your fur babies will be treated as special as if they were my very own. I will walk, feed, bathe (if requested), and provide lots and lots of snuggles. I'm a retired state government employee, so I'm now able to devote my time, attention, and affection towards taking care of your precious pet. I absolutely love animals, but I don't have any pets of my own, so I look very forward to showering your pets with attention and affection. I am available to let the puppies out for pottie breaks as often as needed and to let them run in the yard. My time will be devoted to your precious baby, and I can't wait to meet you and them! I will send you photos and/or messages throughout the day to keep you updated and reassured as often as you prefer. I have a fenced yard to keep your fur babies safe, happy and active. If your fur babies aren't active that's perfectly ok, too...they can lounge around and relax, watch TV, or listen to music. At night, your doggies can sleep with me if that's what they're used to, they can be crated, or sleep on their doggie bed. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you're away.

Michael & Elizabeth B.
“I've known Michael and Liz for over 16 years, and in that time, they've consistently shown themselves to be kindhearted, trustworthy, and deeply passionate about animals. Even back in high school, Liz’s love for animals stood out—she had a cat named Norman who was not only incredibly well-behaved but could even do tricks thanks to her patience and dedication. Together, Michael and Liz are reliable, communicative, and calm under pressure—qualities that are invaluable when caring for pets. I’ve trusted them with both animals and children in the past and would do so again without hesitation. Your pets will be in loving, capable hands with these two.”

Jess D.

She is trustworthy, responsible and loving, the three best qualities you look for in a caregiver!”

Makenzie K.
“Makenzie looked after my puppy for me when I had a last minute family emergency that required me to be out of town for a couple days. It was such a weight off my mind knowing I didn’t have to stress about him, and that I could divert all my energies into my loved ones during a time of crisis. When I finally came home I was greeted with smiles and tail wags. Makenzie said he was such a good boy the entire time and everything was super smooth sailing. I absolutely plan on using her again. She was very polite and professional to interact with. And Benedict my puppy cried the first night I had him back because he missed her.”

Jasmine G.Star Sitter
“Jasmine has grown up in a household with many animals. She has helped me take care of rescue dogs whether they were bottle feeders, neglected, abused, or severe medical cases. She has a passion for animals that makes her an amazing caregiver”

Liz M.
“Three years ago, Liz was fostering dogs for one of our local rescues. I adopted Gypsy, a female pit, that Liz was fostering. Since that time, my pack has grown to 3 dogs; all pit or pit mixes. Liz had been my go to dog sitter when I travel. She would move into my home for 1-2 weeks looking after my dogs as though they were her own. I credit her care and nurturing ability to maintaining my three dogs evenness and personalities during my time away. A real skill in understanding dogs is required to perform this so very well. I trust Liz completely. Her move from VT to CO was a hard pill for me to swallow. The dogs here miss her; as do those of us in VT/NH that value her unique ability with dogs.”

Nichole R.
“Nichole took care of my three legged 13 year old boxer mix for many years. Really treated him like one of her own. Took him out for walks before he lost his leg and even took him to chemotherapy treatments and even gave him medications when needed. She was very caring and understanding of his needs and highly recommend her to take care of anyone’s furry babies.”
