About: We are a mid aged couple who both work from home. I've recently lost my beloved Slugger after 13 years and we were thinking of sharing our love, pets, and attention with other pups that need second home temporarily. We have a small fenced in yard, but also will walk your baby. They will not be crated in our home unless you think it's necessary. We will love on your baby as if they were Slugger! We both work from home 99% of the time, but at least one person will be home at all times during the stay. We can let them out the small fenced in yard throughout the day frequently, but will walk them at lunch time and after work, or more. We have no other dogs or children. Slugger recently passed after 13 short years and left a huge hole in our hearts. He was such a good boy. Your baby will be the only child in our loving home and get ALL THE ATTENTION.

“Rene is such a thoughtful and conscientious person, I could tell when I first met her that Rene would keep our fur children safe. Our dogs are medium sized but very sensitive and don’t fair well in kennels with a lot of loud barking, hard floors, and little human contact. Our youngest gets separation anxiety and jumps fences. He is a bit anxious but A&C we’re very understanding and knew how to manage his behavior and make him feel comfortable. Our dog is on the smaller side and he was in a house with bigger dogs, but they all took their time before I left him to make him feel acclimated with his new daycare mates. I would definitely recommend these folks, they have a great professional demeanor and are very communicative and welcoming. Their space was clean and their dogs seemed very happy and healthy! This place is a great alternative to big chain kennels, we thought about Dogtopia- but they seemed so overcrowded and the dogs just seemed stressed out. Six stars for Alex and Christina! Thank you!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for any and all kinds of dogs since I can even remember! Animals are a big part of my life, there’s never been a doubt in my trust by friends, family, or neighbors! Our furry friends are just as human.❤️ I’m currently on the hunt for a part-time job, also working from home, so I’m currently available at any time to come see, walk, and play with your pups! We live in a secured campground. My site is not fenced, however we have hooked up leashes for all our pups to be able to run the radius of our yard only! We always sit outside with our animals. We have other very friendly pups that would keep your dog plenty of company!

About: I have three dogs along with chickens and I have years of pet sitting experience. I also have 3 years of experience in house sitting. I play on a soccer team but pet sitting and house sitting easily works around that schedule because my practices are in frederick. About: Hello! My name is Astri, and I have been watching dogs and cats for over 17years. I occasionally pet sit my brothers dog Milo. He is a husky and lab mix. He is the only large size dog that I pet sit in my home because he has been in the family since he was a pup. He is more like my nephew then a pet. I’m currently only willing to watch small dogs at the moment. I want to be able to provide the best care for your furry kids and be able to protect and keep them safe especially during walks. I am a stay at home mom, so this means I am available for boarding on weekends, week days, and holidays. All day 24/7 care. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood and near by walking trails. Your pup will enjoy its walks. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I have a reputation at the dog park for the dogs flocking to me as I arrive. I teach them to jump through the agility equipment and roll over. I run with them and give them plenty of scratches and hugs. Our late dog was my hiking companion along the C&O Canal (a five minute walk from our house), local segments of the Appalachian Trail, local parks and the woods and historic district of Harpers Ferry. I’m currently looking for daily opportunities to spend more time with dogs and provide the opportunities they need for exercise and human companionship. I’m very keen on early morning and evening walks during the summer but available most days. Our late dog was a shepherd/retriever mix,I regularly took her to the dog park to play with her friends or to run the short agility course I trained her to run when she was young. I am always on the lookout for poison ivy or possible tick habitats and careful to help the dog manage in potentially stressful situations along the way. I always stop at street corners and do not proceed until all cars have passed (even the ones that insist you go first) so that the dog will understand that we do not cross the street when cars are present.
